Wow.. I've been saying this to my mates from the start, no way people are this good. I would say mid game that were versing elite ai bots theyve put in to the game and multiple times I went to message people on not only cod but a few other big games and it was impossible their privacy settings were set to private and it was impossible to contact them regarding their suspect play.
Hi i talked about this a few days ago with my friends. Sometimes i have got this stranged feeling when I played against bot like it was in Black Ops 1 combat training mode at veteran level. I m sure something fishe .
I’ll bite into this. It would explain why OD left early. It ALSO explains why THEATER MODE isn’t coming. They don’t want you to go back and see the bots.
Oooooooooo, that’s…a decent possibility actually. Not everyone records their gameplay, but if there was a Theater Mode, then EVERYONE and their grandmother could record recent games and post them as proof of this stuff.
The AI thing happens in Battlefield as well, but the devs openly talk about it and they’re just there to fill up blanks before real players join. This on the other hand, seems sketchy AF
Every multiplayer game is filled with bots. It’s a shame though that this is a blatant lie about Bots in CoD unless maybe you’re at the lowest skill bracket imaginable. I’ve played about 15 Hours & never had anything that made me go oh that’s a bot.
Those bots are exactly that, to fill up spots due to poor matchmaking for there own iteration of SBMM. Thank God it's not bad though, it's horrific with cod but battlefield actually makes it work right. I top frag nearly every match in battlefield titles, and there is some who come close to competing, but that consistency shows your skill being rewarded. This is by far rigged, even MW19 wasn't this level of bad, so this is fairly new since cold war id guess or vanguard. This game feels impossible to be good, it feels insanely terrible, even MW2 felt like your skill stood out more, but only barely more, this feels like a negative to do good. As for the bots in battlefield, they reserve placements for new players that's it, they don't even act like real players at all, though they have small moments of beaming you entirely, but it's more rare than anything. I'll never buy a cod game again, I'm glad I didn't even spend my own money on this one, but Treyarch unfortunately will be the last one I keep an eye on, but really a petition lawsuit for reimbursements is the only way to fix all of this.
At this point, I'm convinced MOST, not all, of the bad decisions being made with this game are from Activision and IW, because ain't NO way SHG is listening to the community and improving their game while intentionally sabotaging it as well 💀
It's like SHG is drawing a nice picture for the class on the chalkboard, but IW and Activision are crouched down behind him slowly erasing as he draws.
I think sledge hammer are trying to make a game last more than 6 months at this point but yeah the other parties are using them as easy cash cows to pump out quick filler titles which is sad to see

The reason they won’t discuss SBMM/EBMM is because of everything that’s right in front of our eyes. No skin players are filled with lobbies with people who spend an absurd amount of money on skins, forces you to lose so you can fulfill the “win itch”, the list goes on. It’s extremely scummy, likely predatory shit going on. Like you said, it’s like the loot boxes. If they talk about it, it’ll probably get banned because they’ll see how nefarious it truly is
What's weirder is the passion and love MW2019 had. Then every game after was a downgrade. It's like Activision felt players owed them for one decent game.
Just from casually playing private match 80% of the time due to not wanting to deal with constant SBMM stress I'd say it's certainly possible. The bots on there are capable of more than I would have ever imagined. Dropshotting and jumping corners for example. It's pretty impressive AI.

It's the same thing in COD Cold War if you guys play that title. I brought this up to friends I play with about how it feels like there are literal BOTS in each lobby. Some of their movement is super strange and they don't play like regular humans do. If I load up a custom games lobby and play against all BOTS, I can get the same type movement and behavior. All these suspected BOTS never have mics to speak either. When I queue for a match, I'm telling you it's already predetermined if I'm losing or not. It's pure BS.
I have a feeling the reason they can't really address talks about SBMM is because if even one of them mentions and talks about it, Activision will just straight up fire them without hesitation. That's my feeling on why the devs can't even talk about it
Yea we all know already that the devs are not allowed to talk about it, the question is: why is Activision so secretive about it? Why can't it even be just mentioned. They know that we know that sbmm has been strong since 2019. They also know that we know what sbmm is and what it does. So they have no reason to hide it unless something very shady and strange is happening related to sbmm that cannot be revealed to the public. It's propably something big

i like the game. maybe it’s because i’m bad but i have a mix of really good games and some bad ones. i don’t find that my connection gets worse or get put in CDL lobbies when i do good. i also don’t mind trying to get better and learn in those difficult lobbies. sure the game had a short dev cycle and some bugs at launch. but i think SHG will fix it up and make it really great over the year. the gameplay feels great to me. seems like it’s just really popular to hate but i think the game is genuinely fun and worth my purchase.
It’s a bad game. Lots of creepy bots are added by the devs, not real players. Check their status and info. Literally team death match is full with bots that walk and camp. It’s terrifying. It’s not what is like the content creators are saying and doing the nuke challenge. Lobbies are sweaty or boring with bots camping.
Actually I am hooked to the game. My only issue is that a 20ms diff in latency can make a big difference in face 2 face encounters. Regarding SBMM, whenever I feel like theres too many sweats in match, I just leave and play another.
Something that makes me wonder about this is how barely anyone talks in game chat for the past few years. They could easily copy someone's profile and make a bot that plays just like someone from the stats they used to get on CoD Elite like map locations
I can only speak for myself but most times it’s just easier to mute the whole lobby than find the one or two idiots with hot mics. Also spawns are so chaotic that it becomes difficult to coordinate - people are saying “left side!” but thats likely the right side when you respawn 😂 I will also play when my fiancée is sleeping and I can’t really be talking loudly and waking her up. I’m sure other people have similar situations. I do try to pop on and apologize when I team kill in hardcore though.
I'd believe it. Plutonium devs have started coming out with bots that jump and drop shot around corners. You can't convince me that Activision can't do the same with more resources. They're killing the heart and soul of gaming before our very eyes.
I’ve been saying this for 4 years now. Disbanding lobbies and removing the ig prestige system were done to increase the effectiveness of sbmm and or ebmm. People refuse to believe it but they’re all tied to matchmaking which is why they’ve refused to bring those features back.
@@lalter_ leveling up. It’s part of the engagement matchmaking which has been in cod since Cod 4. I had a theory back then which was if you didn’t prestige you wouldn’t face higher prestige players. In MW2 I played a ton and never prestiged and almost never had a player higher than a 3-4 prestige in my lobbies. Meanwhile my kid hit max prestige and his lobbies were routinely filled with higher orestige and even max prestige players. This is part of how Activision determines casual players.
This actually had me spooked a little. I was playing a little mw3 today one lobby the enemy team was ur standard jump/drop shoting players except for this one guy who would always be walking in and straight line and sometimes looking at the sky never shooting back. It was such a bizarre player i just thought to myself.

I also just had an experience where players where playing like actual bots walking around their spawn and not even shooting at me. It was incredibly weird. Doesn’t make sense going from playing crimson and iridescent sweats to actual bots.
My girlfriend has just got into MW3, it’s her first cod and I don’t care about k/d.. she is literally a bot. She runs weird and stuff but she can get kills.. she usually finishes a game like 3-16 or some shit
This is... wow. Nearly every match I have played of this game had some sort of weird player in it. Like, people walking weirdly, people completely ignoring enemies, weird robotic killcams (just like mentioned in the videos), and that's not even mentioning the actual players. There were two random Level 1 players in one match I had today, and they were acting EXACTLY like how Recruit bots behave. It caught my attention because my lobbies are ultra sweaty; having two people just play like they never touched a CoD game before instantly stood out.
Even if they used bots without acknowledging, which would be a very shady practice, its not like they would replace a whole team with them. Enjoy your game.
I notice when I do challenges which tanks my KD that I get lobbies where it’s like players line up in a row for me to get a triple kill! Also it’s as if my TTK is increased to Infinite Warfare/2019 levels!
I have been having the speculation that we aren’t playing real players. With the way the game is looking a lot of people just aren’t playing like that really. Once a Call Of Duty competitor drops they are done.
@reecealp8200 I really hate having to try to kill your optimism, but Xdefiant isn't going to do anything. It will probably have hype for a month. Then it will just die off instantly after because people will realise they'd rather go play a triple A game that has more content, better graphics, and overall just more hype from playerbase. That's why cod (despite how garbage it is), I'd be lying if it wasn't a satisfying game just to grind out for camos, weapons, and just shooting in general. And most casual gamers don't care about the things we do like, like over abundance of mtx, quality of content AND quantity of how much money we're paying for it. So many other things I can ramble on about. But the truth of the matter is Xdefiant from what i've seen and played is very generic. And people don't like generic. They want to feel like they're playing a top of the line videogame, (even if that videogame can't do as much as a game from 2012 can).

Hello, BT. Yesterday, I had an experience in Warzone where I won a game with 21 kills. In that game, no one shot back at me. Almost all the players were running around without acting like real people; it felt like PUBG bots. The entire lobby seemed to consist of bots. BTW I'm not bot my Warzone K/D is 2.60.
When player retention and numbers keep getting lower with each game that's released they have to do something to keep up the facade that the game is alive and well so those who still play won't leave because of long queue times
One of my favorites is staring at at a door or window and nothing. Knowing if I turn away and then back there will be an enemy there. It has become predictable. Not sure how many things I see in one day of playing of players doing the exact right think randomly on replay to get me down to the Milli second. That never happened in the old days.
Scrapyard in the plane, I will aim down sight and wait, I did this 4 times. As soon as I sprint in then get close to the end of the plane. A player would turn and shoot me, rinse and repeat. I thought I was tripping. I know cod timing is a thing. But this is absolute aids

Its been 5 years with this system implemented in our games & the entire community has spoken out about it & we haven't ever seen one sign of acknowledgment from Activison or the Devs about it, there's even rumors saying devs had to sign NDAs just not to speak on it. These levels of discretion sounds like some shady business is going on behind closed doors 🤷♂
They have been working on bots in multiplayers since BO1. It makes sense to implement bots in MP to boost player numbers and shorten lobby wait time. Activision is scummy for not revealing they use bots in Multiplayer to the public.
i agree with most of what you said but i disagree it makes sense to to have bots in multiplayer lobbies. I want to play real people and they would not need bots at all if the player numbers were up. BO1 had 4 million people day one...on xbox 360. I doubt they needed bots. could be wrong tho.

The revenge kill thing is crazy. I brought the game the other day because to be honest i havent played games in years (just bought a ps5 as well) but jumped into some games, and i would die to someone (in both tdm and hardpoint) and spawned literally right behind the guys who just killed me. And this has been happening multiple times where i spawn quite literally in a place where i can directly shoot the guy who just killed me - this ties into the 1kd thing

Can confirm. I played on my dad’s account the other day while I was there for Thanksgiving, and was 100% in a bot lobby on Derail. Went 41-4 against bots running into walls
Ive literally just uninstalled the game and minutes later BT drops another video 😂 Im just done with the franchise now. Sbmm or eomm it doesn't matter i just know it isnt going to change. Ive found it really has a negative impact on my mood when playing and no game is worth that. Fun fact, the definition of the word game is "an activity that one engages in for amusement or fun". You might want to hear this one. I’m about 95% sure I came across real bots and it’s a thing. I even messaged the accounts in the lobbies multiple times and got no response. I viewed their profiles and it’s like they didn’t exist. No trophies what so ever. The reason I got suspicious was because I was on the edge of a ground war map a few times while eating food not really playing. I was somewhere someone couldn’t possibly see me and a player throws a grenade like they knew exactly where I was at with ai code. Then they casually walk around the corner and shoot my my player just like ai does in private match. I had ghost on and it was in mw2 so there was no way they could know where I was and it was a while after I got there so there’s no way they followed me without me knowing. The scary thing is, I had this happen a few times. Most notable right before getting high kill streaks. A strange player will just casually walk up and delete me with bot like movement from an area I just cleared and looked and no one was there.
The part about you trying to message them or checking their profiles is something I wish I thought to do at the time when I made my post the other day about FoGxGir.
@@swigmcale7555 What platform did you play on? Did you had cross-play on? You can find a player with this activision ID through the cod tracker all thought his profile seems to be private. It would be interesting to investigate it further, as I noticed that MW2 had a weird thing going on where you would always land on the same gamer's profile of the enemy's team no matter which player you clicked »show profile« on. To be more clear: the enemies team consists of 6 players, no matter what player you choose to »show their profile«, it always shows one specific profile from one of the team. Probably just some bad coding but still interesting and weird.
On invasion or other big modes they fill half team with bots but you can see that because when you kill them theie tag doesnt appear. Plus they have much less hp than other players. I didnt know it was a secret xd
On god bro… I cleared a room I 100% knew no one was there. As soon as I turn my head I get popped up by robot navy seal. It reminds me of when I used to play private matches with my cousins and place bots on hardened mode from BO2. In lobbies there are times where I smoked before they hit the corner. I clearly have the jump and some how they one shot me
They have had bots in their game since 2017 cod ww2 it's where it all started. They would walk around the map never nothing same thing this guy described go 0-13+ every game. I would message them no response I'd check the next day and the accounts were be gone like they never existed this was on Xbox.
I just got this game as a gift and I swear, first match I go 19-15, and every match after is a sweat fest with level 55 players. I'm level 14 with an initial 0.71 kd.
I’ve been saying there’s bots since 2019. Will start a game off just completely demolishing the enemy team. Then all of a sudden a switch flips and they know the spawns holding angle not missing shots and will completely turn what was a guaranteed win into a loss.
Unfortunately this will probably get worse, and not only COD but most multiplayer games. They’re designed to keep you on them for as long as possible, and will tailor enemy players skill to do so. I wouldn’t be surprised as AI is refined and improved that multiplayer lobbies will have little to no real players.
Just wait for xDefiant, gonna be an actual proper video game with no sbmm unless it’s the ranked mode like it’s supposed to be. Pretty much the only beacon of hope in the gaming community

Hey BT, the SBMM is not only bad for ping, but when I play with my friends, they are having a terrible time in my lobbies. While I’m dropping 50 kills, they only get 3-5 kills and 40 deaths. That’s not the issue, the issue is that I’m getting rejected when they play, they tell me they don’t want to play in my sweaty lobbies and they don’t want to play with me anymore. What should I do? Am I supposed to play like I’m playing soccer at kindergarten and not have fun? I consider myself an above average player, I have a 1.8 kd and a 0.8 win loss while unlocking camos, nothing too crazy but I’m still getting those CDL level lobbies and I’m getting rejected by my own friends so I gotta play by myself. I’m losing friends over SBMM.
I feel you man, none of my friends will play with me anymore because of the skill gap in our friend group, im not bad but not good, we got somebody who is a sweat and everyone else is casual and gets dumpstered on so now nobody will play with us and it sucks

You know what? I've been thinking about it since MW 2019. It felt so weird sometimes, even playing with my old cod4 promod team where we were really good at it, seeing weird behaviors from opponents in a repetitive way never faced before. So many precisely timed actions to be just hackers, losing my mind thinking it's something else. They called me a little bit crazy going that far even though they felt the same things and frustration. I just think that AI is not a chatgpt only thing and it's being use to train bots in a way they now have gotten very convincing ones to play in private and public matches. It's just the very good one model is reserved for the matchmaking.
@@-yaqoob. I did it too for warming, and that's the purpose of bots in private matches; being too obvious. The fishy things happened in ranked mp for good (easy kills) and for bad (precise movement bots that looked like human players). The thing is that if 90% of the time you die from precise peaking or from behind having 15+ years of experience in this game and even same maps where it was even more obvious feels like something is off.
Well yeah look at 2042. FPS bots are feasible and with the resources COD devs have they could make them much more organic seeming than on display in 2042.

The bots on the new game have auto aim, and will hunt you through the walls. But they’re ai so it’s not actual wall hacks. It’s just targeting, has nobody played invasion? Or practice aiming against bots? It’s very different than MP opponents.
I wouldn't put pass Activision to implement bots at this point. COD is on the verge of dying and Activision is probably getting desperate at this point

There's even a game my team was dominating then near the end, it became a real nightmare: when I pressed tab 3 of my teammates were gone (when we were winning, that's weird) and the guys of the other team had bots-like names with a pro player skill coming all of a sudden from nowhere... Nobody answered when I asked them if they were bots in text chat
This game is funky all around. I noticed last night it just was not filling lobbies at all. I was playing with 2-4 other friends at a time. The game would put that same amount of players on the other team and never fill the empty spots. I have never seen this happen in a COD game before. Definitely had me thinking...
We need to make a petition to show how many ppl actually hate SBMM then show it to Activision. Who’s going to create it 😅 And if we get enough, we can send it to the president😂

I worked in a huge corporation pretty high up for years. This 100% sounds like something a high ranking officer at Acuvision came up with to not loose his job for the game sucking. I can hear the mother fucker now “what does success look like? Well more people on average play the game longer, we have a more enjoyable 3rd mode experience and more people finished the campaign” What you mean to say is. You made a gun unlock system to keep players on the game, you had a whole studio made a zombies mode that sucks but is better then garbage coo-op and you made a 3 hour campaign so everyone can finish it. I’ve been suspecting this for a while that there’s bots in multiplayer games. I had an apex match a month ago where a whole squad was just standing idle midway through a match. My teammate went up and melee’d them saying they were bots, and he said it like it was a normal occurrence….I totally believe it and know it’s going on. It only makes sense.
You more than likely stumbled across an automated account leveling service doing their thing.. They will repeatedly queue up, drop and stand still, die and then requeue over and over... it's fairly easy to setup yourself if you know your way around VM's.
It also happens in CSGO where people is just standing or doing 360s constantly because they're farming csgo boxes that you can later sell in steam. But bots in cod developed by activision sounds like something they'd do
I truly had something like that bot thing happen in my lobby last night we had 3 people on our team mention it and it was some dude just walking around the map no awareness no shooting just straight bot activity. Was very strange and I wasn’t the only person mentioning it
I would venture to say that one person in every lobby has at least something on to boost unfair advantages. I also believe the game punishes you for having a good game and winning.
You’re complaining about being challenged. Sbmm works both ways. Ever heard of reverse boosting ? You really wanna play a game we’re you know you’re gonna win every time ?! I get it sbmm is bad but if you do bad over time it places you with the correct lobby.

Maybe that's why they wont bring theatre mode back? because we could actually see what's going on during matches? I think having that to analyze would shed unwanted light on this topic.
yeah, every AAA FPS should have a theater mode. There's no excuse to not have it, unless you're just lazy or doing something under the radar. I think it's in their best favor to not have theater mode, because if they did, we'd be able to investigate further into SBMM and they'd get exposed. Whatever they gotta do to hide and protect their money-making algorithms and behaviors to limit and control the evidence against them. That's how I see it.
I've said it time and time again, objective based gamemodes were always a problem allowing players to pump their K/Ds without actually playing the objective... the bots just make it worse for the game(s) as a whole
I've seen killcams with people that robotically follow you, as if they had aim assist cranked to 10000%. Not aimbot, just a smooth following of me from even extreme distances. Lots of players that never speak, most of which don't even have comms on at all. Almost never see anyone type messages in lobby either. Tons of players that crouch around the map, and I know there are people who play like that but it happens waaaay too often in this game. As for myself, I have seen all the problems people see now. Packet burst, completely missing shots that are right on point one game, then no issues the next. I had something else happen when I scoped in for a shot, though, that confused me. The player had killed me, so I watched their screen to see where my shot landed. You could see the laser pointer move, focus on the player for a second, then when I fired, the laser jolted up to the right, high in the air, and my shot was completely gone. This wasn't an isolated issue, either. Other issues I have had include randomly swapping weapons mid combat, not touching my mouse wheel. I have also, in the middle of 3-4 streaks, had my damn loadout selection screen come up and cost me 1-2 more kills. Oh..and the remakes of some maps, are absolutely garbage. You mention terminal being bad with the plane, but there is NOTHING more frustrating that those stupid poles near the counter inside the middle shop. A full grown human can't knock that shit over? Why the fuck is it there in the first place? Oh and 1 last thing. That lobby you're playing in, I swear I've played with almost all of those same names before. That seems very strange to me as well.
I swear, today I died a couple of times to a guy that was just walking around the map like an idiot, but for some reason he had amazing aim... But just on me! At the end of the game, that guy only had 4 kills, and all of them on me... Before this video I was genuinely thinking that he was a really bad player with aimbot for the way every kill cam looked... I'm collecting data. I had a string of "wins" unlocked 3 armory items. In the 8th game I went 7 and 42 and my killcams did NOT RECORD or show my deaths. I got 1 shotted 6 times in 30 seconds on Terminal. The Activision AI is fisting us without lube.
This morning i played experimental playlist, i went 21 and 16. I had the best game so far but i notice some players were acting weird. Not reacting to me appearing or a delayed reaction like if they are bots. I was getting triple kills like crazy. I could only notice two good olayers on the enemy team because they were getting a lot of kills too. The other players did feel like bot! It happned like two games in a row. I thought i was tripping or got really good at the game

You should delve deep into the damage reduction/more damage taken sbmm there so much evidence and its really easy to tell if you look at killcams it'll say you git hit 4 - 5 times but if you look at hitmarkers and vullet trails you can easily spot it.
Was struggling today in hardcore with the burst AR, put 3 or 4 bursts into people and they werent dying. This happened for a few games. At the 4th game or so, i was killing everyone in 1 burst. ITS RIGGED!!!

Bots in games have been incredibly prevelant recently , i mean its like every game i play has bots in it, especially cod mobile. They have regular player names but have no profiles and act like bots but there isnt supposed to be bots in competitive matches. Idk why all these companies are using bots now, as if more people arent playing video games than ever
I honestly believe there are even bots in zombies, and I mean the teammates I've played with as a solo. I've even mentioned this to a few friends about how odd and clueless some people act in the game mode. I've noticed these "players" will walk around in one single building for over 10 minutes with no contracts or objectives in the area. I don't know, just thought I'd point out the weird in what I've noticed while playing.
Something weird happened with zombies for me too. There was a player that was marked on the map as in they're part of my team, but their name was nowhere to be found. No name, no rank, nothing. I thought it was my teammate but that was not the case bc I could see my teammates nametag. This other players just had a blue dot above him. I thought that it's part of the mode, that u can buy these extra people in ur team or something but I'm not sure now
The numbers are probably correct regarding zombies only because players are using it to rank weapons up without having to deal with crippling sbmm in multiplayer. Great commentaries on MW3 recently. Hope you and you're dog are good. Take it easy peace.

The point I'm making is that zombies numbers could be inflated at the start of the game as it's less hassle to rank weapons up in zombies due the egregious sbmm in multiplayer. I agree the zombies mode is well executed, but I think the numbers are inflated at the moment due to players grinding weapon ranks.
I disagree, the multiplayer has a great gameplay design, even BT admits it's probably the best playing cod game, core gameplay mechanics wise, it's only held back, and killed at that, by scummy Activision mechanics like SBMM and Armory. This zombies mode is legitimately just a reskin of DMZ with zombies pasted on it, dumbed down to oblivion just to appeal to multiplayer and warzone players, completely disregarding their core fanbase, disrespecting real cod zombies fans by treating them like idiots, like "for real zombies fans we got the mystery box!" yeah the thing that has been there since day 1 in WaW and is the bare minimum to be expected, or spoiling the entire premise of the story in the cod next panel, this mode is the "MW2019" of zombies, a complete insult and spit on the face to what the mode has built upon for 10 years, dumbed down and designed to piss off longtime players
The bot person is a macro. They are used in other games for afk lvling so no reason to assume they are not being used in COD for the purposes of tanking stats so the owner comes back gets a few decent games, then AFK's macro till later.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody, COD Mobile is full of bots, and in terms of the skill levels of the bots in newer premium COD games, they are pretty decent. They dropshot, aim quick, and they don't look mechanical at all. It's crazy
I had very similar happen, had one player on our team playing S&D who was ALWAYS the final player alive, he'd lie prone somewhere in a corner until the final minute countdown started and then he'd just bot his way around the map and miss every shot fired

So I join a lobby of course everyone is level 55 but they all had on the same calling card except for one bot or real person who reaches level 55 and doesn’t even change the calling card ?? Very few people didn’t think much of it thought maybe it’s a glitch but it isn’t then I tried out the max level bots and bro they literally play the same way as in every lobby I get into if you started a lobby max difficulty bots you wouldn’t even realize your actually in a bot lobby because there replicated to play like the best players in cod and then idk if you guys realize but every time you kill someone there is always another guy lurking about and even if you hide they will still deadeye 100% hit you with every bullet no uavs up no nothing I can’t believe I just figured this out every other multiplayer game is doing it so why wouldn’t cod ? And like BT mentions this is the reason they do not respond to SBMM comment it’s not that eveey lobby you play everyone is just so cracked and amazing it’s that there robots that have no human error.
To top that off they intentionally boot you for being good in dmz 28-60 ping after killing 4-5 operators 28-4000+ then booted my evidence to support this claim? Everytime I’d get booted like this it’s be after 1 successful exfil when I load back into another game my most recent one was 26-18100 lag spike within 30 seconds I even called my internet service provider the IT department looked over my router nothing was wrong with it
I've got this 13:37 as soon as I got 7 kills / 10 kills in old warzone beyond was impossible because I was always being killed by players that look that are cheating but in a really robotic way, and that always knew where I was and felt like activision wanted to get me out of the game... also the bots always had "pretty expensive" skins that I don't own (typical algorithm behavior from the sbmm that has been proved to do this, check wysosirius)
Do you remember the "View PSN profile" / "View playercard" button where you could see people's profiles? This bot thing explains why they ended up removing that, also why they stopped showing "Player counts" in-game like black ops 2 playlist where it told you how many were online or playing each mode. This all adds up
everything about this game is to manipulate you for your time and money. It is an effective formula of putting minimum effort into their game, but maximizing the farm they get out of you. These are hardly video games, they're business models designed as video games. That's all this is now. Business. Video games in the AAA space are just big business we've been duped into investing in without the chance of making any money ourselves.

I would say mid game that were versing elite ai bots theyve put in to the game and multiple times I went to message people on not only cod but a few other big games and it was impossible their privacy settings were set to private and it was impossible to contact them regarding their suspect play.

Every multiplayer game is filled with bots. It’s a shame though that this is a blatant lie about Bots in CoD unless maybe you’re at the lowest skill bracket imaginable. I’ve played about 15 Hours & never had anything that made me go oh that’s a bot.
Those bots are exactly that, to fill up spots due to poor matchmaking for there own iteration of SBMM. Thank God it's not bad though, it's horrific with cod but battlefield actually makes it work right. I top frag nearly every match in battlefield titles, and there is some who come close to competing, but that consistency shows your skill being rewarded. This is by far rigged, even MW19 wasn't this level of bad, so this is fairly new since cold war id guess or vanguard. This game feels impossible to be good, it feels insanely terrible, even MW2 felt like your skill stood out more, but only barely more, this feels like a negative to do good. As for the bots in battlefield, they reserve placements for new players that's it, they don't even act like real players at all, though they have small moments of beaming you entirely, but it's more rare than anything. I'll never buy a cod game again, I'm glad I didn't even spend my own money on this one, but Treyarch unfortunately will be the last one I keep an eye on, but really a petition lawsuit for reimbursements is the only way to fix all of this.

Just from casually playing private match 80% of the time due to not wanting to deal with constant SBMM stress I'd say it's certainly possible. The bots on there are capable of more than I would have ever imagined. Dropshotting and jumping corners for example. It's pretty impressive AI.
Hell the bots on Black Ops 1 would cook you if you turned up the difficulty high enough. And that was 2010.

It's the same thing in COD Cold War if you guys play that title. I brought this up to friends I play with about how it feels like there are literal BOTS in each lobby. Some of their movement is super strange and they don't play like regular humans do. If I load up a custom games lobby and play against all BOTS, I can get the same type movement and behavior. All these suspected BOTS never have mics to speak either. When I queue for a match, I'm telling you it's already predetermined if I'm losing or not. It's pure BS.
I have a feeling the reason they can't really address talks about SBMM is because if even one of them mentions and talks about it, Activision will just straight up fire them without hesitation. That's my feeling on why the devs can't even talk about it
Yea we all know already that the devs are not allowed to talk about it, the question is: why is Activision so secretive about it? Why can't it even be just mentioned. They know that we know that sbmm has been strong since 2019. They also know that we know what sbmm is and what it does.

i like the game. maybe it’s because i’m bad but i have a mix of really good games and some bad ones. i don’t find that my connection gets worse or get put in CDL lobbies when i do good. i also don’t mind trying to get better and learn in those difficult lobbies. sure the game had a short dev cycle and some bugs at launch. but i think SHG will fix it up and make it really great over the year. the gameplay feels great to me. seems like it’s just really popular to hate but i think the game is genuinely fun and worth my purchase.
It’s a bad game. Lots of creepy bots are added by the devs, not real players. Check their status and info. Literally team death match is full with bots that walk and camp. It’s terrifying. It’s not what is like the content creators are saying and doing the nuke challenge. Lobbies are sweaty or boring with bots camping.
Actually I am hooked to the game. My only issue is that a 20ms diff in latency can make a big difference in face 2 face encounters. Regarding SBMM, whenever I feel like theres too many sweats in match, I just leave and play another.
They know that we know about sbmm so they have no reason to hide it unless something very shady is going on, which they cannot reveal to the public
Something that makes me wonder about this is how barely anyone talks in game chat for the past few years. They could easily copy someone's profile and make a bot that plays just like someone from the stats they used to get on CoD Elite like map locations
I can only speak for myself but most times it’s just easier to mute the whole lobby than find the one or two idiots with hot mics. Also spawns are so chaotic that it becomes difficult to coordinate - people are saying “left side!” but thats likely the right side when you respawn 😂
I will also play when my fiancée is sleeping and I can’t really be talking loudly and waking her up. I’m sure other people have similar situations. I do try to pop on and apologize when I team kill in hardcore though.
I'd believe it. Plutonium devs have started coming out with bots that jump and drop shot around corners. You can't convince me that Activision can't do the same with more resources. They're killing the heart and soul of gaming before our very eyes.
I’ve been saying this for 4 years now. Disbanding lobbies and removing the ig prestige system were done to increase the effectiveness of sbmm and or ebmm. People refuse to believe it but they’re all tied to matchmaking which is why they’ve refused to bring those features back.

@@lalter_ leveling up. It’s part of the engagement matchmaking which has been in cod since Cod 4. I had a theory back then which was if you didn’t prestige you wouldn’t face higher prestige players. In MW2 I played a ton and never prestiged and almost never had a player higher than a 3-4 prestige in my lobbies. Meanwhile my kid hit max prestige and his lobbies were routinely filled with higher orestige and even max prestige players. This is part of how Activision determines casual players.
This actually had me spooked a little. I was playing a little mw3 today one lobby the enemy team was ur standard jump/drop shoting players except for this one guy who would always be walking in and straight line and sometimes looking at the sky never shooting back. It was such a bizarre player i just thought to myself.
He might’ve recently learned about reverse boosting and tried to tank his stats by letting his kids play lol

I also just had an experience where players where playing like actual bots walking around their spawn and not even shooting at me. It was incredibly weird. Doesn’t make sense going from playing crimson and iridescent sweats to actual bots.
My girlfriend has just got into MW3, it’s her first cod and I don’t care about k/d.. she is literally a bot. She runs weird and stuff but she can get kills.. she usually finishes a game like 3-16 or some shit

Nearly every match I have played of this game had some sort of weird player in it. Like, people walking weirdly, people completely ignoring enemies, weird robotic killcams (just like mentioned in the videos), and that's not even mentioning the actual players. There were two random Level 1 players in one match I had today, and they were acting EXACTLY like how Recruit bots behave. It caught my attention because my lobbies are ultra sweaty; having two people just play like they never touched a CoD game before instantly stood out.
Even if they used bots without acknowledging, which would be a very shady practice, its not like they would replace a whole team with them. Enjoy your game.
I notice when I do challenges which tanks my KD that I get lobbies where it’s like players line up in a row for me to get a triple kill! Also it’s as if my TTK is increased to Infinite Warfare/2019 levels!
I have been having the speculation that we aren’t playing real players. With the way the game is looking a lot of people just aren’t playing like that really. Once a Call Of Duty competitor drops they are done.
That competitor will be XDefiant which is due to come out soon hopefully.

@reecealp8200 I really hate having to try to kill your optimism, but Xdefiant isn't going to do anything. It will probably have hype for a month. Then it will just die off instantly after because people will realise they'd rather go play a triple A game that has more content, better graphics, and overall just more hype from playerbase. That's why cod (despite how garbage it is), I'd be lying if it wasn't a satisfying game just to grind out for camos, weapons, and just shooting in general. And most casual gamers don't care about the things we do like, like over abundance of mtx, quality of content AND quantity of how much money we're paying for it. So many other things I can ramble on about. But the truth of the matter is Xdefiant from what i've seen and played is very generic. And people don't like generic. They want to feel like they're playing a top of the line videogame, (even if that videogame can't do as much as a game from 2012 can).

Hello, BT. Yesterday, I had an experience in Warzone where I won a game with 21 kills. In that game, no one shot back at me. Almost all the players were running around without acting like real people; it felt like PUBG bots. The entire lobby seemed to consist of bots. BTW I'm not bot my Warzone K/D is 2.60.
When player retention and numbers keep getting lower with each game that's released they have to do something to keep up the facade that the game is alive and well so those who still play won't leave because of long queue times

One of my favorites is staring at at a door or window and nothing. Knowing if I turn away and then back there will be an enemy there. It has become predictable. Not sure how many things I see in one day of playing of players doing the exact right think randomly on replay to get me down to the Milli second. That never happened in the old days.

I seriously think there is something illegal or extremely suspicious about their SBMM/EOMM. Its been 5 years with this system implemented in our games & the entire community has spoken out about it & we haven't ever seen one sign of acknowledgment from Activison or the Devs about it, there's even rumors saying devs had to sign NDAs just not to speak on it. These levels of discretion sounds like some shady business is going on behind closed doors 🤷♂
NDAs aren't rumors: they are standard practices in the industry.
They have been working on bots in multiplayers since BO1. It makes sense to implement bots in MP to boost player numbers and shorten lobby wait time. Activision is scummy for not revealing they use bots in Multiplayer to the public.
i agree with most of what you said but i disagree it makes sense to to have bots in multiplayer lobbies. I want to play real people and they would not need bots at all if the player numbers were up. BO1 had 4 million people day one...on xbox 360. I doubt they needed bots. could be wrong tho.
BO1 only had bots in combat training and offline lobbies, it made sense in those particular instances. But this? This is bullshit and shouldn't be.

SBMM is more than skill based. Aim assist, hit detection, and damage multipliers have a hand in this also.

I brought the game the other day because to be honest i havent played games in years (just bought a ps5 as well) but jumped into some games, and i would die to someone (in both tdm and hardpoint) and spawned literally right behind the guys who just killed me. And this has been happening multiple times where i spawn quite literally in a place where i can directly shoot the guy who just killed me - this ties into the 1kd thing

You might want to hear this one. I’m about 95% sure I came across real bots and it’s a thing. I even messaged the accounts in the lobbies multiple times and got no response. I viewed their profiles and it’s like they didn’t exist. No trophies what so ever. The reason I got suspicious was because I was on the edge of a ground war map a few times while eating food not really playing. I was somewhere someone couldn’t possibly see me and a player throws a grenade like they knew exactly where I was at with ai code. Then they casually walk around the corner and shoot my my player just like ai does in private match. I had ghost on and it was in mw2 so there was no way they could know where I was and it was a while after I got there so there’s no way they followed me without me knowing. The scary thing is, I had this happen a few times. Most notable right before getting high kill streaks. A strange player will just casually walk up and delete me with bot like movement from an area I just cleared and looked and no one was there.
The part about you trying to message them or checking their profiles is something I wish I thought to do at the time when I made my post the other day about FoGxGir.
@@swigmcale7555 What platform did you play on? Did you had cross-play on? You can find a player with this activision ID through the cod tracker all thought his profile seems to be private. It would be interesting to investigate it further, as I noticed that MW2 had a weird thing going on where you would always land on the same gamer's profile of the enemy's team no matter which player you clicked »show profile« on. To be more clear: the enemies team consists of 6 players, no matter what player you choose to »show their profile«, it always shows one specific profile from one of the team. Probably just some bad coding but still interesting and weird.
On invasion or other big modes they fill half team with bots but you can see that because when you kill them theie tag doesnt appear. Plus they have much less hp than other players. I didnt know it was a secret xd

It reminds me of when I used to play private matches with my cousins and place bots on hardened mode from BO2. In lobbies there are times where I smoked before they hit the corner. I clearly have the jump and some how they one shot me
They have had bots in their game since 2017 cod ww2 it's where it all started. They would walk around the map never nothing same thing this guy described go 0-13+ every game. I would message them no response I'd check the next day and the accounts were be gone like they never existed this was on Xbox.
I just got this game as a gift and I swear, first match I go 19-15, and every match after is a sweat fest with level 55 players.

I’ve been saying there’s bots since 2019. Will start a game off just completely demolishing the enemy team. Then all of a sudden a switch flips and they know the spawns holding angle not missing shots and will completely turn what was a guaranteed win into a loss.
Unfortunately this will probably get worse, and not only COD but most multiplayer games. They’re designed to keep you on them for as long as possible, and will tailor enemy players skill to do so. I wouldn’t be surprised as AI is refined and improved that multiplayer lobbies will have little to no real players.
Just wait for xDefiant, gonna be an actual proper video game with no sbmm unless it’s the ranked mode like it’s supposed to be. Pretty much the only beacon of hope in the gaming community

Hey BT, the SBMM is not only bad for ping, but when I play with my friends, they are having a terrible time in my lobbies. While I’m dropping 50 kills, they only get 3-5 kills and 40 deaths. That’s not the issue, the issue is that I’m getting rejected when they play, they tell me they don’t want to play in my sweaty lobbies and they don’t want to play with me anymore. What should I do? Am I supposed to play like I’m playing soccer at kindergarten and not have fun? I consider myself an above average player, I have a 1.8 kd and a 0.8 win loss while unlocking camos, nothing too crazy but I’m still getting those CDL level lobbies and I’m getting rejected by my own friends so I gotta play by myself. I’m losing friends over SBMM.
I feel you man, none of my friends will play with me anymore because of the skill gap in our friend group, im not bad but not good, we got somebody who is a sweat and everyone else is casual and gets dumpstered on so now nobody will play with us and it sucks

You know what? I've been thinking about it since MW 2019. It felt so weird sometimes, even playing with my old cod4 promod team where we were really good at it, seeing weird behaviors from opponents in a repetitive way never faced before. So many precisely timed actions to be just hackers, losing my mind thinking it's something else.
They called me a little bit crazy going that far even though they felt the same things and frustration.
I just think that AI is not a chatgpt only thing and it's being use to train bots in a way they now have gotten very convincing ones to play in private and public matches. It's just the very good one model is reserved for the matchmaking.
In 2019 I practiced against veteran bots for aim training. They literally had aimbot and wall hacks so what you’re saying doesn’t seem too far fetched
@@-yaqoob. I did it too for warming, and that's the purpose of bots in private matches; being too obvious. The fishy things happened in ranked mp for good (easy kills) and for bad (precise movement bots that looked like human players).
The thing is that if 90% of the time you die from precise peaking or from behind having 15+ years of experience in this game and even same maps where it was even more obvious feels like something is off.
Well yeah look at 2042. FPS bots are feasible and with the resources COD devs have they could make them much more organic seeming than on display in 2042.

The bots on the new game have auto aim, and will hunt you through the walls. But they’re ai so it’s not actual wall hacks. It’s just targeting, has nobody played invasion? Or practice aiming against bots? It’s very different than MP opponents.
I wouldn't put pass Activision to implement bots at this point. COD is on the verge of dying and Activision is probably getting desperate at this point

There's even a game my team was dominating then near the end, it became a real nightmare: when I pressed tab 3 of my teammates were gone (when we were winning, that's weird) and the guys of the other team had bots-like names with a pro player skill coming all of a sudden from nowhere... Nobody answered when I asked them if they were bots in text chat

This game is funky all around. I noticed last night it just was not filling lobbies at all. I was playing with 2-4 other friends at a time. The game would put that same amount of players on the other team and never fill the empty spots. I have never seen this happen in a COD game before. Definitely had me thinking...

I’ve been suspecting this for a while that there’s bots in multiplayer games. I had an apex match a month ago where a whole squad was just standing idle midway through a match. My teammate went up and melee’d them saying they were bots, and he said it like it was a normal occurrence….I totally believe it and know it’s going on. It only makes sense.
You more than likely stumbled across an automated account leveling service doing their thing..
They will repeatedly queue up, drop and stand still, die and then requeue over and over... it's fairly easy to setup yourself if you know your way around VM's.
It also happens in CSGO where people is just standing or doing 360s constantly because they're farming csgo boxes that you can later sell in steam. But bots in cod developed by activision sounds like something they'd do
I truly had something like that bot thing happen in my lobby last night we had 3 people on our team mention it and it was some dude just walking around the map no awareness no shooting just straight bot activity. Was very strange and I wasn’t the only person mentioning it
I would venture to say that one person in every lobby has at least something on to boost unfair advantages. I also believe the game punishes you for having a good game and winning.
That's why it never felt good to win and perform well in MW2019, in my case. I quit because of it.

Maybe that's why they wont bring theatre mode back? because we could actually see what's going on during matches? I think having that to analyze would shed unwanted light on this topic.
yeah, every AAA FPS should have a theater mode. There's no excuse to not have it, unless you're just lazy or doing something under the radar. I think it's in their best favor to not have theater mode, because if they did, we'd be able to investigate further into SBMM and they'd get exposed. Whatever they gotta do to hide and protect their money-making algorithms and behaviors to limit and control the evidence against them. That's how I see it.
I've said it time and time again, objective based gamemodes were always a problem allowing players to pump their K/Ds without actually playing the objective... the bots just make it worse for the game(s) as a whole

I've seen killcams with people that robotically follow you, as if they had aim assist cranked to 10000%. Not aimbot, just a smooth following of me from even extreme distances. Lots of players that never speak, most of which don't even have comms on at all. Almost never see anyone type messages in lobby either. Tons of players that crouch around the map, and I know there are people who play like that but it happens waaaay too often in this game. As for myself, I have seen all the problems people see now. Packet burst, completely missing shots that are right on point one game, then no issues the next.
I had something else happen when I scoped in for a shot, though, that confused me. The player had killed me, so I watched their screen to see where my shot landed. You could see the laser pointer move, focus on the player for a second, then when I fired, the laser jolted up to the right, high in the air, and my shot was completely gone. This wasn't an isolated issue, either.
Other issues I have had include randomly swapping weapons mid combat, not touching my mouse wheel. I have also, in the middle of 3-4 streaks, had my damn loadout selection screen come up and cost me 1-2 more kills.
Oh..and the remakes of some maps, are absolutely garbage. You mention terminal being bad with the plane, but there is NOTHING more frustrating that those stupid poles near the counter inside the middle shop. A full grown human can't knock that shit over? Why the fuck is it there in the first place?
Oh and 1 last thing. That lobby you're playing in, I swear I've played with almost all of those same names before. That seems very strange to me as well.
I swear, today I died a couple of times to a guy that was just walking around the map like an idiot, but for some reason he had amazing aim... But just on me!
I was playing with my friends and they were laughing at me because they were destroying that guy like he wasn't even playing... At the end of the game, that guy only had 4 kills, and all of them on me... Before this video I was genuinely thinking that he was a really bad player with aimbot for the way every kill cam looked...

I'm collecting data. I had a string of "wins" unlocked 3 armory items. In the 8th game I went 7 and 42 and my killcams did NOT RECORD or show my deaths. I got 1 shotted 6 times in 30 seconds on Terminal. The Activision AI is fisting us without lube.

This morning i played experimental playlist, i went 21 and 16. I had the best game so far but i notice some players were acting weird. Not reacting to me appearing or a delayed reaction like if they are bots. I was getting triple kills like crazy. I could only notice two good olayers on the enemy team because they were getting a lot of kills too. The other players did feel like bot! It happned like two games in a row. I thought i was tripping or got really good at the game

You should delve deep into the damage reduction/more damage taken sbmm there so much evidence and its really easy to tell if you look at killcams it'll say you git hit 4 - 5 times but if you look at hitmarkers and vullet trails you can easily spot it.
I'm thinking sometimes multipliers are turned off.

I have felt this way about cod since mw 2019, nothing ever felt consistent to me about gun battles since that game.
Was struggling today in hardcore with the burst AR, put 3 or 4 bursts into people and they werent dying. This happened for a few games. At the 4th game or so, i was killing everyone in 1 burst. ITS RIGGED!!!

Bots in games have been incredibly prevelant recently , i mean its like every game i play has bots in it, especially cod mobile. They have regular player names but have no profiles and act like bots but there isnt supposed to be bots in competitive matches. Idk why all these companies are using bots now, as if more people arent playing video games than ever
I honestly believe there are even bots in zombies, and I mean the teammates I've played with as a solo. I've even mentioned this to a few friends about how odd and clueless some people act in the game mode. I've noticed these "players" will walk around in one single building for over 10 minutes with no contracts or objectives in the area. I don't know, just thought I'd point out the weird in what I've noticed while playing.
Something weird happened with zombies for me too. There was a player that was marked on the map as in they're part of my team, but their name was nowhere to be found. No name, no rank, nothing. I thought it was my teammate but that was not the case bc I could see my teammates nametag. This other players just had a blue dot above him. I thought that it's part of the mode, that u can buy these extra people in ur team or something but I'm not sure now
Makes a lot of sense. I’m a solo game dev, and coding a bot teammate for pve is extremely easy to do. I’m sure this is going on.
The numbers are probably correct regarding zombies only because players are using it to rank weapons up without having to deal with crippling sbmm in multiplayer. Great commentaries on MW3 recently. Hope you and you're dog are good. Take it easy peace.

The point I'm making is that zombies numbers could be inflated at the start of the game as it's less hassle to rank weapons up in zombies due the egregious sbmm in multiplayer. I agree the zombies mode is well executed, but I think the numbers are inflated at the moment due to players grinding weapon ranks.

I disagree, the multiplayer has a great gameplay design, even BT admits it's probably the best playing cod game, core gameplay mechanics wise, it's only held back, and killed at that, by scummy Activision mechanics like SBMM and Armory. This zombies mode is legitimately just a reskin of DMZ with zombies pasted on it, dumbed down to oblivion just to appeal to multiplayer and warzone players, completely disregarding their core fanbase, disrespecting real cod zombies fans by treating them like idiots, like "for real zombies fans we got the mystery box!" yeah the thing that has been there since day 1 in WaW and is the bare minimum to be expected, or spoiling the entire premise of the story in the cod next panel, this mode is the "MW2019" of zombies, a complete insult and spit on the face to what the mode has built upon for 10 years, dumbed down and designed to piss off longtime players
The bot person is a macro. They are used in other games for afk lvling so no reason to assume they are not being used in COD for the purposes of tanking stats so the owner comes back gets a few decent games, then AFK's macro till later.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody, COD Mobile is full of bots, and in terms of the skill levels of the bots in newer premium COD games, they are pretty decent. They dropshot, aim quick, and they don't look mechanical at all. It's crazy

I had very similar happen, had one player on our team playing S&D who was ALWAYS the final player alive, he'd lie prone somewhere in a corner until the final minute countdown started and then he'd just bot his way around the map and miss every shot fired

This video made me realize why everything the way it is blame truth literally opened my eyes so yesterday I was wondering how is the game so dog water and every one is level 55? So I join a lobby of course everyone is level 55 but they all had on the same calling card except for one bot or real person who reaches level 55 and doesn’t even change the calling card ?? Very few people didn’t think much of it thought maybe it’s a glitch but it isn’t then I tried out the max level bots and bro they literally play the same way as in every lobby I get into if you started a lobby max difficulty bots you wouldn’t even realize your actually in a bot lobby because there replicated to play like the best players in cod and then idk if you guys realize but every time you kill someone there is always another guy lurking about and even if you hide they will still deadeye 100% hit you with every bullet no uavs up no nothing I can’t believe I just figured this out every other multiplayer game is doing it so why wouldn’t cod ? And like BT mentions this is the reason they do not respond to SBMM comment it’s not that eveey lobby you play everyone is just so cracked and amazing it’s that there robots that have no human error.

Everytime I’d get booted like this it’s be after 1 successful exfil when I load back into another game my most recent one was 26-18100 lag spike within 30 seconds I even called my internet service provider the IT department looked over my router nothing was wrong with it
I've got this 13:37 as soon as I got 7 kills / 10 kills in old warzone beyond was impossible because I was always being killed by players that look that are cheating but in a really robotic way, and that always knew where I was and felt like activision wanted to get me out of the game... also the bots always had "pretty expensive" skins that I don't own (typical algorithm behavior from the sbmm that has been proved to do this, check wysosirius)

Do you remember the "View PSN profile" / "View playercard" button where you could see people's profiles? This bot thing explains why they ended up removing that, also why they stopped showing "Player counts" in-game like black ops 2 playlist where it told you how many were online or playing each mode. This all adds up
everything about this game is to manipulate you for your time and money. It is an effective formula of putting minimum effort into their game, but maximizing the farm they get out of you. These are hardly video games, they're business models designed as video games. That's all this is now. Business. Video games in the AAA space are just big business we've been duped into investing in without the chance of making any money ourselves.
