The reason why the percentage of players with that achievement is so low is because: MW3 is not downloaded as a standalone game; it's downloaded and forcefully bundled with Warzone. This means that all of Warzone players who don't play MW3 on Xbox are included in the achievement percentage. This results in a ridiculously low percentage on the Level 55 achievement despite the high density of Level 55s.
@dylanplagmann5236 not yet. Warzone still runs on the mw2 leveling system until it releases on mw3. So if you don't even play mw3 multiplayer or zombies you're still included in those numbers.
Counterpoint to this argument would be that, the people who owned MW2 or WZ don't become duplicates after buying MW3. The only people who would raise the overall player count on the platform would be people who didn't own MW2 or downloaded WZ after release and the new WZ isn't even out so that has to be a low percentage. Which to me would indicate: a) MW3 sold like ass; b) the game has poor retention due to people dropping it early or refunding, neither of which is good from Activision's point view.
BT, everytime you post a video, I stop whatever the hell I’m doing and go downstairs and workout while listening to you talk. Seeing that you posted I’m headed down right now. Means so much to me how passionate you are still of this franchise. We love you bro!!! ❤️💪💪
As someone who has 1,000 hours in MW2/DMZ, I will say that it IS fun, but for an entirely different reason. Just a heads up, I am not a fan of this game nor do I think it is good. I think that the reason why it is fun is stupid and creates a skill floor so fucking high that it's pointless to even make the journey there. The only reason why I even did this was because this was the only game me and my friends had so I spent a lot of time playing it with them. Tl;Dr is that you need to have hundreds of hours in MP and understand literally every single detail and have everything unlocked and understand what the game is actually trying to be played as and be in an urban area to have ANY fun. In the top 1% lobbies I get into, you need to know these concepts about the game in order to have any semblance of fun: 1. You do not play casually. Every game is going to be competitive. 2. You must understand each and every minute system in the game. This includes managing perk packages, different attachments on guns and the difference in stats and tuning between them, the maps, the other player's playstyle, your team's playstyle, the game mode you're playing, etc. 3. YOUR PLAYSTYLE is dependent on your team's playstyle and the enemy team's playstyle. You are expected to carry your team. 4. You only have good connection if you are in a large city area (I live in the L.A area so my connection is relatively consistent, albeit packet burst is a MAJOR issue) 5. Abuse every mechanic in the game. They exist for a reason, no matter how annoying they are (The balancing in this game feels unfair until you understand this concept and #3) The importance of understanding how to play WITH your shit team against the enemy team is integral to having a fun game. I will now give an example of what I mean by all of this to exemplify just how complex and intricate this system is: My "main" loadout is a chimera focused on short-mid-range engagements with good movement speed. The secondary is a lockwood 300 with a double shot trigger tuned for sprint-to-fire time and hip fire accuracy. I used a molotov to hold choke points and a gas grenade to do the exact same thing. My perks are scavenger, overkill, fast hands, and quick fix. I use dead silence and a munitions box as field upgrades. The maps I use this loadout are any close range maps with corridors and mainly on objective gamemodes on those maps. The playstyles I typically use this loadout against are slow teammates and enemies who focus on close range (the chimera can take them out from a distance and the lockwood one shots at close range). I describe all of that to tell you that there is no fun to be had in this game unless you grind the fuck out of it and create loadouts for the most specific engagements on specific maps on specific gamemodes against specific enemies with specific weapons at specific points in the games (perks activate midgame so you have to apply that to your playstyle and switch your loadouts midgame to account for the enemy getting specific perks). The moment you understand this is when you can have fun. But even then, the amount of work needed to do that makes it boring as shit. I hope this shows what I see to be the true issue behind MW2 appearing to be such a shitty game OUTSIDE of SBMM and other stupid systems they had in the game. Thanks for reading.
I found out that the skins players buy don’t go to the games and employees. It goes to the sales guys who don’t know and have any qualifications to making video games but is focusing on trying to spend little money as possible and tries to manipulate the game into giving money for no reason at all!
Been watching you since machinima days on cod4. You’re the only cod-tuber I get excited to watch every single video bc you tell it how it is. Thank you
If you want to figure out if there are actually bots on your team, follow players around and try and to get a human reaction out of them, such as looking at you, shooting at you, knifing at you, using their mic asking wtf you are doing etc.. Probably the best test you can do
It is 110% the total population of the launcher now. That includes Warzone/DMZ, MwII, MWIII Beta and MWIII. All of the very common achievements for the mw2 story at the beginning of MW II are now rare now. Edit: I just checked, the ONLY common acheivment now is Finishing the MWII story on any difficulty. When I got it it was in the 78ish% range. Its now sitting at cool 11.10%(Less than 10% is rare)
I’ve noticed over the past couple of days, I’ll join up with the a lot of the same players I had just played with. The game disbands the lobby only for me to join the same lobby that was just disbanded.
Yeah I noticed this and I was thinking no way that’s possible, maybe they have AI bots to increase “player count” so they’re valued higher as a company
It is for this reason(and several others) I have written a formal complaint to the FTC about the potential of industry harm due to this company's actions here

This game isn’t doing great on sales. The metric I used was the fact that it went on a 15 percent discount 2 weeks after release, is currently bundled in a buy 2 get 1 deal in the Microsoft store, and I assure you it’ll be on sale within a week or two for Christmas sales
I've played 1 game that had enemy bots. They were all standing still shooting the sky and then the whole team left, we got the countdown for looking for enemies and then we got a new team load in. Crazy as.
BT, the Steiner Math infected your brain and messed up your Level 55 player numbers. You don't add up the percentages to get the total percentage across all platforms. If we assume that PS has 60% of the playerbase and Xbox 30% and PC 10%, that means that only 5% of players across all platforms have reached Level 55.
The number 18% is actually wrong. What you should have done is 18/3=6% Edit: it is a little more complicated than this because we would need to take into consideration how many players each platform has
Regarding the question of “How many 55s do you get in your lobbies” … I had a lobby a couple of days ago where it was only myself and one other player who weren’t 55s yet. That’s pretty much every lobby I’ve had for the last several weeks.
Literally all of my matches that I’ve gotten put into have been Level 55… I just got the game 3 days ago… I’m level 30 and from day one of me hopping on the game I’ve gotten nothing but level 55 players with everything unlocked… I’m playing with default loadouts.. make it make sense! 😡
I noticed that on steam too. The funniest is, that when I started 1,5 half weeks after the launch, I had 98% lobbies with lvl 55 Players, even when I was level 1.
I haven't played CoD since MW2 on xbox 360 but I started watching basically all of your MW3 videos due to recommended and I gotta say you make some very funny but informative content. It really sucks how much players have to go through being unable to enjoy such an expensive update, also its funny how you haven't had a single video yet where you don't get stuck on something in the map how are they fumbling that bad?
Interesting thing I noticed, ever since I unlocked Interstellar over a week ago, I have had someone on the enemy team have it as well in at least 98% of my matches. Literally the next match right after finally unlocking it dudes running around with it. It took me 3days 4hours of in game time to get it and not ONCE did I see anybody rocking it, and as soon as I get it every lobby someone on the enemy team has it. I find that super odd. In previous Cods I would see these final camos once in a while this is the first time I’ve seen them almost EVERY match.
I haven't unlocked it yet and I see it every game. It is the easiest camo grind in years....but I think it's mostly cheaters who have it tbh. I been blocking every player I see with it just to be safe.
Playing shipment the other day. Guy drops a nuke. Which I thought was weird. Cus how does someone get 30 kills without dying on shipment. Not impossible but probably a hard map to get it on. Then after the game the person who dropped the nuke went 34-48! So this guy was 4-48 then dropped a nuke? Like how. It was kill confirmed we were crushing the other team. They only had 55 tags collected. I just thought it was weird. The guy who dropped it was named Rambo
@@franklinjacksoniii930 it was just weird. How often do you see a nuke on shipment? Let alone a nuke where the guy has a 0.7 kd in the match? Cheating or not I feel a nuke on shipment gotta be tough. One random grenade and you're done.
Tfw freaking Wallpaper Engine has more users than CoD that, I would assume, counts the combined playerbase of MWII, MWIII, Warzone, DMZ and Zombies. That's just embarrassing at this point.
Wallpaper engine is probably one of the best buys on steam and even has free app for mobile phones. Obviously you need the steam app for custom wall papers but for basic it is free.
I think the best decision I made was taking a hiatus from CoD after black ops 3, my first game back into this series was MWII, now playing this one I can honestly say it would be an amazing game without SBMM and the other tomfoolery that goes on with that system.
I honestly don’t mind the game and would actually play it without SBMM or it turned way down. With how hardcore it is and with my KD it only puts me into the sweatiest lobbies ever and my win loss is 0.20. That’s…..not…….fun
OK I've watched the other videos about the AI stuff and have nothing to say, but this one is just false. The total number of players includes MW2, DMZ, and Warzone 2. This is because the achievements are ties to the COD HQ. It's why the achievements are all bundled together for both games (I lost my 100% completion and I'm still a few off from getting it back on Steam). This is not manipulation by Activision, this is simply an inflated number due to being tied to a free to play call of duty game that's been out for over a year
Trophies are a bit messed up on Playstation for this game. PS5 versions of MWIII is counted as DLC for MWII, However, the PS4 version is its own version
Have you seen the new upload from “Chuck Fraggin”? You should check it out and cover it in tomorrow’s video. It’s about the throwing star doing one shot kills in bot lobbies and in sbmm lobbies, having to hit people twice to kill them. Activision literally makes you do more damage in sbmm lobbies.
@BlameTruth I guess you misunderstand how percentages work since it isn't 15% total playerbase has lvl 55. Steam it was ~3%, Xbox it was ~4%, PS it was ~8% (i'm rounding). To get the percentage of the whole playerbase, you don't just add all of those numbers up. You add those numbers, then divide by 3 (since there are 3 different platforms) to get the percentace of all platforms put together because the people that haven't gotten to lvl 55 are a part of the playerbase as well. So, 3 + 4 + 8 = 15, 15 / 3 = 5. ~5% is the percentage of people who have reached lvl 55 across all platforms, not 15.
Today I got into my first match with what seems to be a bot, they stand in a room aiming around not moving and looking in one direction but not at any enemy exactly, it’s weird and it caused me to lose the game.
All of my friends are literally waiting for Ranked playlist. That could be one of the many reasons why there is such a harsh decline. We will see a month or two into season 1!
That, and how do ALL of the cosmetics from MWII transfer over, yet they don't use any of the calling cards? Maybe I'm not informed, but the calling cards being the same sometimes is, interesting.
May I add, the first game after I unlocked interstellar, I was so excited to see my hard earned camo that is very unique....first game I join (hardcore which I assume is smaller playerbase) the teammate directly next to me as I spawn in also has the camo. SBMM only a conspiracy to the sheep. Stop lining the pockets of these goblins if you truly love the history of the call of duty franchise, in order to have any voice against the devs' egregious acts.
Here’s a breakdown of why this might be happening… 1. Digital refunds are hard on xbox/pc. The Devs release campaign first to boost hours played and reduce refund chance. 2. Those who like multiplayer play more often and get to max rank. Conversely, lower rank players play less often, so you don’t come across them as often. 3. You play at times of day when people who are lower levels typically don’t not have time to play (if we calculate level as a result of time played and interest in game since you aren’t likely to be a high level if you don’t have time or aren’t interested). 5. Find the median play session for casual cod players and average time it takes to get to max level. If it turns out people only need 5-6 sessions, then it makes sense why there are so few players at low rank. 6. Some people just get the game for the campaign or because their friend got it and don’t play much or mind wasting their money / quit early. This can all be disproven with a couple tests: 1. Track average lobby level across every hour every day (if the average level does not dip at 6pm+ and on weekends, then that eliminates the hypothesis that lower level players play less (they would be playing after work). 2. Track average lobby levels with low level accounts / worse performing accounts. I’m not saying your wrong, I’m just injecting some other hypotheses
Also to take into account 15 million copies were sold of the game. If everyone kept their copies and only 15% of those players hit 55 then that's still a player base of 2 million people. A good vast majority of which will be the "hardcore" cod players. I'm not saying there isn't bots but they def aren't in these lobbies.
Was sceptical about the whole bots conspiracy, but had the weirdest experience yesterday. I joined a game and had a player in my team that was just spinning in circles and shooting at the ground. Was thinking just a troll, but the weirdest thing is, his name was not in the scoreboard. How do we have a player in game who is not even shown in the scoreboard? Can bots join your game even if the lobby is full and overpopulate games?
The scoreboard doesn't show the lowest player. If you look at it in 6v6 it'll only show 5 players on each team. To protect the noobs against trash talk I guess..
What if...Your calling card and emblem keeps resetting back to "default" so that you think the bot accounts who hasn't changed it also runs into same issue 🤔
The call of duty experience simply feels like I’m playing against AI disguised as people. It’s so easy to stop playing and disbanding lobbies plays the biggest role in that
Yes they manipulate the heck out of everything, supposedly to make things more “balanced”. However, it doesn’t balance a damn thing for me, my win loss ratio has been steady around .3 since I got this game weeks ago. And no I’m not dragging down my teams stats, I’m usually top 2 on my teams as far as kills vs deaths, as well as playing the objective.
The reason you get stuck on so many of the remastered maps is probably because on older cods like bo3 for a recent example your fps can make the you get stuck on certain things you normally wouldn't on 60 fps due to the limitations of older consoles it never was an issue but i bet them porting the maps to a new game with 120 fps even on console now it's just a constant issue or just their engine made by iw is just garbage
cod engines are known to perform oddly like with physics and even fall damage and…getting stuck on things you normally wouldn’t so something shady is definitely going on
SBMM is good! Yall are just mad because you guys go negative every game. Haha 😄 why would they fix something thats not broken. Just get good 😊 imagine wanting to play against noobs every match. I love MW3! Thanks to Activision and all their hard work, it really shows! 😁
Hard work is crazy a non finished game for 80 bucks and sbmm is crazy horrible cuz I went against some 3 and 4 kd people while at 1.5 kd which is wild to me
this is like fake likes and followers on instagram but instead a corporation faking their player numbers so they can play off their mistakes as not a big deals
Also a possibility that rank display is client side. Where it always shows your correct rank, and any friends/squad mates you join in on, then just plasteres a random rank on all of the random to help cover up the SBMM.
I've started three additional reverse boost accounts accounts and I've noticed that recently I don't encounter low levels players anymore.... I figured it was because no one is playing, now I know.

Not sure if it was a cheater, a bot or a really aggresive reverse booster. I am in no way good at COD but this shows even if my case on rare occasions the game wants to balance me out.

At 15:52 are we not going to talk about the bot that just ran into the wall and got stuck?
In the top 1% lobbies I get into, you need to know these concepts about the game in order to have any semblance of fun:
4. You only have good connection if you are in a large city area (I live in the L.A area so my connection is relatively consistent, albeit packet burst is a MAJOR issue)
5. Abuse every mechanic in the game. They exist for a reason, no matter how annoying they are (The balancing in this game feels unfair until you understand this concept and #3)
The importance of understanding how to play WITH your shit team against the enemy team is integral to having a fun game.
I will now give an example of what I mean by all of this to exemplify just how complex and intricate this system is:
My "main" loadout is a chimera focused on short-mid-range engagements with good movement speed.
Keep pumping out these awesome videos, we need people to realize the state of things!
Thank you

Nothing better than listening to a BlameTruth in the morning. It really gets the day going can’t wait.
I’m barely a level 39 and everyone in my lobbies are 55’s. Shit is starting to make some sense to me now. Wtf.
There's only 5% of total players that hit level 55. Divide the Playstation, Xbox & Steam numbers by 3 to find your average.
I’ve noticed over the past couple of days, I’ll join up with the a lot of the same players I had just played with. The game disbands the lobby only for me to join the same lobby that was just disbanded.
I’ve done the mistaken of my mum getting me this cod for Christmas I’ll see what it’s like if it’s meh I’ll uninstall

This game isn’t doing great on sales. The metric I used was the fact that it went on a 15 percent discount 2 weeks after release, is currently bundled in a buy 2 get 1 deal in the Microsoft store, and I assure you it’ll be on sale within a week or two for Christmas sales
The scott steiner math is the perfect intro for this. The difference being is scott steiners numbers actually somewhat make sense, but cods don't.
Agreed. Got the reference immediately!!
Steiner Math mentioned
Big papa pump holla if ya hear me
Activision forgot to throw Kurt Angle in the mix, but Angle knooooows he cant win, so hes not gonna even try
BT was he first one to put Thunder on and give him some exposure if I’m not mistaken. I’m glad I’ve been able to watch these two legends for 16 years.
I've played 1 game that had enemy bots. They were all standing still shooting the sky and then the whole team left, we got the countdown for looking for enemies and then we got a new team load in. Crazy as.
I hope Rockstar bring GTA 6 out on the day the next COD is due to be released. We need this franchise to suffer
That would be epic lol but I’m sure activision would make sure to release a COD no where near when GTA 6 releases
GTA6 is not coming out until 2025 so they got another year of no comp cod.
Blametruth is the physical embodiment of the older generation of great cod players anger.
You are absolutely right. I realized after I made the video.
Love the Scott Steiner reference at the start! Great job
The number 18% is actually wrong.
What you should have done is 18/3=6%
Edit: it is a little more complicated than this because we would need to take into consideration how many players each platform has
Regarding the question of “How many 55s do you get in your lobbies” … I had a lobby a couple of days ago where it was only myself and one other player who weren’t 55s yet.
Cod been down hill ever since bo2 last cod game to be great.

I watch your videos waiting for when you say "IM STUCK, IM STUCK". Every video i've watched, you havent dissapointed.
Top cheater I played Rambo before
@@franklinjacksoniii930 it was just weird. How often do you see a nuke on shipment? Let alone a nuke where the guy has a 0.7 kd in the match? Cheating or not I feel a nuke on shipment gotta be tough. One random grenade and you're done.
The COD Father everyone never misses.
Thank you for the Scott Steiner Math inspired intro
Tfw freaking Wallpaper Engine has more users than CoD that, I would assume, counts the combined playerbase of MWII, MWIII, Warzone, DMZ and Zombies. That's just embarrassing at this point.
Wallpaper engine is probably one of the best buys on steam and even has free app for mobile phones. Obviously you need the steam app for custom wall papers but for basic it is free.
LOL Steiner math beginning!
When I make dinner I always forget to add Kurt Angle to the mix
I think the best decision I made was taking a hiatus from CoD after black ops 3, my first game back into this series was MWII, now playing this one I can honestly say it would be an amazing game without SBMM and the other tomfoolery that goes on with that system.
A CoD game without SBMM good luck with that.
I honestly don’t mind the game and would actually play it without SBMM or it turned way down. With how hardcore it is and with my KD it only puts me into the sweatiest lobbies ever and my win loss is 0.20. That’s…..not…….fun
That's unlucky you missed Black ops 4 the last good CoD multiplayer.
That intro lel, I was expecting PICCADILLY any second
MW3 is our free yearly update we just had to pay $70 to access our DLC
Before mention of bots in MW3 I had the odd feeling when I am constantly dying to hard mode Campaign nades but in MP.
Even with eod equipped I die to explosives way too much. Sometimes it feel like the whole map is exploding for no reason.
If they gotta hide the player count numbers, then that lets you know how bad they're doing... 😂
You should honestly drop a diss track on Activision that would go crazy 🔥🔥🔥
the percentages are low is because most people who touched the game that get counted in that stat aren't playing the game and leveling their accounts
It’s not even 18% cuz u don’t just add the percents together… it’s way lower then that
All of my friends are literally waiting for Ranked playlist. That could be one of the many reasons why there is such a harsh decline. We will see a month or two into season 1!
Ordered a frame for my mum Thanks BT. As always love the content
That, and how do ALL of the cosmetics from MWII transfer over, yet they don't use any of the calling cards? Maybe I'm not informed, but the calling cards being the same sometimes is, interesting.
Generic calling card, skin, emblem and gun camo 🤔
Been watching since cod4 days....so sad to see where this has gone and is continuing to go. Thank you for the (Blame)Truth.
My parents present for Christmas is me walking a cross the stage getting my college degree in Information Science.
Here’s a breakdown of why this might be happening…
This can all be disproven with a couple tests:
If you feel you've got a strong set of writing hands, go formally complain to the FTC
if cod didnt hide their API, this would easy to figure out
Was sceptical about the whole bots conspiracy, but had the weirdest experience yesterday.
That’s weird
The scoreboard doesn't show the lowest player. If you look at it in 6v6 it'll only show 5 players on each team. To protect the noobs against trash talk I guess..
Your videos are more interesting than the game at this point
What if...Your calling card and emblem keeps resetting back to "default" so that you think the bot accounts who hasn't changed it also runs into same issue 🤔
They must be counting Bots 😂
The "I'm stuck" part 1:13 😂😂
Cracks me up every single time 😁
The call of duty experience simply feels like I’m playing against AI disguised as people. It’s so easy to stop playing and disbanding lobbies plays the biggest role in that
Absolutely loved the spin on the infamous Scott Steiner promo!!
Nothing beats watching BT while cooking dinner
Yes they manipulate the heck out of everything, supposedly to make things more “balanced”. However, it doesn’t balance a damn thing for me, my win loss ratio has been steady around .3 since I got this game weeks ago. And no I’m not dragging down my teams stats, I’m usually top 2 on my teams as far as kills vs deaths, as well as playing the objective.
The reason you get stuck on so many of the remastered maps is probably because on older cods like bo3 for a recent example your fps can make the you get stuck on certain things you normally wouldn't on 60 fps due to the limitations of older consoles it never was an issue but i bet them porting the maps to a new game with 120 fps even on console now it's just a constant issue or just their engine made by iw is just garbage
cod engines are known to perform oddly like with physics and even fall damage and…getting stuck on things you normally wouldn’t so something shady is definitely going on
4:20 Bro rocking the Keanu Reeves look 🔥
SBMM is good! Yall are just mad because you guys go negative every game. Haha 😄 why would they fix something thats not broken. Just get good 😊 imagine wanting to play against noobs every match. I love MW3! Thanks to Activision and all their hard work, it really shows! 😁
Hard work is crazy a non finished game for 80 bucks and sbmm is crazy horrible cuz I went against some 3 and 4 kd people while at 1.5 kd which is wild to me

@@dlang26 That's just your opinion kiddo. 😮💨 sorry that you go negative every game lol
this is like fake likes and followers on instagram but instead a corporation faking their player numbers so they can play off their mistakes as not a big deals
Also a possibility that rank display is client side. Where it always shows your correct rank, and any friends/squad mates you join in on, then just plasteres a random rank on all of the random to help cover up the SBMM.
Pretty sure they have bots that join and leave when your team is winning so the other team has some unexpected heroic comeback. Happens all too often.
I've started three additional reverse boost accounts accounts and I've noticed that recently I don't encounter low levels players anymore.... I figured it was because no one is playing, now I know.

Hey BlameTruth I got another crazy story for you! I spent a few matches popping off and was suddenly put into an in-progress Rust game. Not bullshitting you as SOON as I spawned in I was being insta-killed by some aerial kill streak I can’t even Name due to my limited COD knowledge. This happened over and over again with me dying so fast my characters arm and weapon wouldn’t even load in. 40 seconds in the game ended with a score of 24-100 and I am fully convinced I was put into this match just to die. Not sure if it was a cheater, a bot or a really aggresive reverse booster. I am in no way good at COD but this shows even if my case on rare occasions the game wants to balance me out.
now it makes sense for the last 4 days i’ve been w all lvl 55s not even a 45 or 50 it’s crazy
