Looks and sounds great!
Looks great. Only thing I would do different is make sure the tub is lower than the sides so splash water also runs back into the to tub, so you don't lose water to splashing. I really like the metal roofing on the back makes it really stand out. Good Job!
Great suggestion. Appreciate you watching!
you have a lovely house :) personally i would have gone with some tile that looks like rock (idk the proper name) for the looks but for the sake of sounds this is awsome hope you get many years of enjoyment out of this :)
Can you show us viewers; List of component and over all cost of the project? I love the simplicity of the water feature.
Very cool addition!
Thanks Luke. Appreciate the support!
Great video Jason, I love the simplicity of it all! I can't wait to build mine on a bigger scale. On another note, it looks like you live in a beautiful brand new subdivision surrounded by two stories. Talking from my own experience, If I were you I'd start planting some Italian Cypresses along the fences with your two story neighbors to ensure your privacy in the future. You'll be amazed how fast the years go by and you'll wish you did!
Thank you for watching.
That turned out great !!
Thank you and appreciate you watching.
Nicely done- looks great, thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching.
Cool man I would like to do something like that
Thanks for watching!
Great idea, great effect. But there's one thing bugging me is running low on the right side.
The ground is not level at all. Appreciate you watching!
Very nice. How much water is lost to splashing outside the target area? Its always an issue. Hope you decided to put pvc inside the enclosed wood. That corrugated pipe will collect debts over time and start to break down.
You've inspired me to build something similar. I'll have to record the prosses and share with you the direct result of your sharing this with us.
do you uses Solar pump? Some other video they are using Solar Pump. If you can go over the pro and con, plus your recommendation would be awesome!
Lose stone will work too like the little river rock you don't need to cement it in. Just so it's not so permanent FYI. great job!!
Thanks! Sometimes when I build, i just go with the flow. Use my creativity a little. Thanks for watching!
FairPlay that’s mint👌👌👌 lights on it for night time?
Funny I was just eying some water proof uplights for ponds that could work here. Thanks for watching!
Great video, what’s an estimate of materials?
I think at the time it was $150 to $200. Lumber prices have been all over the place since then. Appreciate you watching the video.
Where did you get the reservoir and pump plz?
Home Depot.

What is the lid that you put on top of the container? What’s it called?
And will the wood frame submerged in water end up rotting ?
The lid probably comes with the tub.If it is ground rated PT, the wood shouldn't rot.
Though the support under the lid should have all sharps edges beveled to prevent the liner abrasion over time. He did a good job on this.
Won't the water rot the wood
Did you have a problem with the water seeping out i made a similar version and i cant get my water to stay inside the tote what would you recommend
Build up the sides with rock to make it higher than the lid. The water will hit the rocks and fall back into the lid.
What if your backyard floods?
My backyard does not flood. Thanks for watching!
I thought other people do this for you did it
Nope. I made this from ideas that others have done in the past. Appreciate you watching.
I SEE SOME MISTAKES!!!! You will be tearing this out in about a year.
