    I like this. I hope J Bickerstaff can help our young guys get better and I hope he wants to actually be apart of this rebuild. We ain’t asking to make the play-in, we just want to be better.

    Props on being first.
    These other lames are sleep.
    You got a subscription from me for being on time, and not starting like the Pistons press conferences.

    I'm ok with the hire. He's got HC experience. I heard it was between him and Sean Sweeney who used to work for the Pistons. You have a really good channel and you are very objective.

    This was honestly the best coach available given the field + timing but we thought the same about Monty last year too lol... and, just as last year, the true X-Factor will ultimately be roster construction... the rest of the off-season will tell us how serious the organization really is.

    • @cdane63
      @cdane63 6 месяцев назад +3

      Monty had to be bribed to take the job. So hopefully we didn't repeat that mistake.

    To be honest it might be the safest hire instead of going with a first time head coach.

    • @JacobPistons
      @JacobPistons  6 месяцев назад +5

      For sure, I do see that side of the coin as well. I was hoping for a younger coach and he is still really young despite the experience. Maybe it ends up being the best of both worlds.

    We will know in the 1st 10 games what's his off and def schemes are. Then we will find out if the players develop in those schemes. Just waiting how the new gm fills out the roster, since he is gutting the entire bench.

    He got a veteran PG and his wins jumped to 50. Kind of like Monty getting Chris Paul.

    Pistons fans, be careful what you wish for. He's not a good offensive mind. He's very limited in offensive mind. He divided the locker room. His practices were not challenging. As a Cavs fan he was great for development, but he's nothing more than that, so do not expect a great coach.
