Hi Jack, will it be better translated as "animal silver, animal gold". Understand that silver is often used as currency during Siam era. 😊

I love these videos. ❤ They are so helpful and well structured. As Thai is clearly a tonal language, I really find your finger gestures about the tone super helpful 🎉

Hi Jack dont really do comments normally but just wanted to say I find your videos really useful. Really like how you break down words, explain how the same words can be used in other situations, emphasise the tonal element and relate each word to the English equivalent. Most just give you a phrase then the English equivalent but not how they relate to each other word by word. I think this results in knowing a single phrase but doesn't help much in understanding the language. However, I noticed in this video you missed the explanation of which Thai word relates to which English word in a few of the phrases. I appreciate this may have just been missed by accident but just wanted to say I hope you keep up your detailed word by word breakdowns on all phrases in future videos as this is one of the things I really value. Either way thanks for the helpful videos.

Thank you so much James. I'm sorry that I missed the explanation of the relationship between Thai and English words. Sometimes, I struggle to find the appropriate English words to effectively convey my explanation. I will make sure to be more mindful of this in the next videos. Your feedback is valuable and I will improve it. :)

      Kru jack
I need a little bit of help
How do you say Thai colloquial sentence of
      you come watch me play
In English, sometimes we shorten sentences like as an example
      Formal
Do you want to come watch me play football
Shortened ( do is dropped )
You want to come watch me play ( you live out the sport at the end of the sentence because you already know what sport it it’s ) 😂😂😂😂

@@SkipRoche31 There are different pronouns and question particles that can be used in different contexts. For a colloquial way of saying
"คุณมาดูผมเล่นบอลมั้ย(khun maa doo pom len ball mai)".
It's "you come watch me play ball มั้ย."
or If you want to be more casual, you can omit the "คุณ (khun)" and change the question particle to "ป่าว (bpaaw)" like this "มาดูผมเล่นบอลป่าว (maa doo pom len ball bpaaw)". However, it's important to keep the word "ball" in there to avoid confusion.

    เนียน could also mean low-key I think, it's a slang in english. "Keep it low-key" = ทำตัวเนียนๆ 🤔

is there equivalent of "gigil" in Thai slang, expression, or word?, because I want to say it to my thai girlfriend.

รั่ว may be referred to as another Thai slang: ไม่เต็ม (not full, incomplete) which means 'Crazy' or 'insane' or 'Witless'. Get the picture? รั่ว (Leaked) equal to ไม่เต็ม (Witless).

    is this อารมณ์ร้อน same with หัวร้อน? 5:50, and เจ๋ง same with เนียน? 9:12

      อารมณ์ร้อน similar to หัวร้อน
      เจ๋ง is cool!, awesome!
เนียน can be used as an adjective to describe something smooth and realistically detailed. For example, if you sculpt a statue and I say เนียนมาก, it means it looks great and has intricate details. Additionally, เนียน can also describe something smoothly blended in, like when you do something seamlessly, and people can't notice it, we can also use the word เนียน in that context.
