- A group of us met to brave the elements in Eastbourne, including my sister Rosy., last Saturday!
When the weather wasn't very sunny June like :)
I had held an event called 'Staying in the Step' where I shared my running journey as a metaphor for how to stay present and be more aware of how we're creating our lives

I started competing when I was twelve years old. I loved finding what was possible…

In 1985 I had the wonderful experience of winning the Dublin City Marathon.
I also competed in the 1986 Commonwealth Games, but had to retire during the race at 20m due to injury.
The personal experience of the ups and downs has been growthful for me, and also given me a depth of awareness that helps me to coach others and help them return after disappointments and set backs…
All these years later I am still loving competing and finding out what is possible….

I nearly went to nightclub once😂 lovely to see you all together. I must say I miss salty, rainy, windy runs by the sea here in central France. We just get wind and rain - and the cheeky locals have the nerve to call it British weather! 😅
Ha Ha 😅🤣😂Well they are sort of right!! 😀 There is something rather fun and lovely about the elements along a coast! And I ventured into a night club once too - I actually wnet in - and then out a again!😂 ❤

Hello Steve 😀I have to say I'm not a fan of June rain either!! 😅😂 Yes! Rosy did really well! Even though she was shy of me making the announcement ☀️
30 years ago I would have been one of those windsurfers ... never too rainy, never too cold, always wanting strong winds
I totally understand! Although never my thing - Anadi ( cameraman and husband) used to love windsurfing! They did look to be having fun! Them and the Seagull loving the windy weather! 😀
