Came right back to this interview when I heard the news. RIP Tyler. I was hoping we would see you and Billy Miller return to GH one day but God had other plans 😭🙏.
@@beverlymcdonald6301 Wasn't his choice. He was let go from GH and Days due to his personal struggles which I assume he'll be discussing in this interview.
Maurice I listened to this a couple of months ago and again today. His lasting words so profound. He was so humble and shared so much in this one conversation with you. I hope many of his fans stop by and listen to his message now. God bless ❤
This man Tyler Christopher is the true Nicholas Cassadine. I pray he's able to resume his role. Such a brave and honest soul!!! Nothing but total admiration for him!!
This may be easy for me to say, because I wasn't there. Tyler deserves another chance at GH. We al deseve another chanc sometimes. I dont think the powers that be would be sorry. Anybody who knows the role of Nicholas Cassidine knows Tyler owns it. I'm glad he has such a friend and someone who understands in Maurice. God Bless You Tyler.
RIP Tyler Christopher. I was hoping you would return to GH someday. You were a great actor. You will be missed. You embodied the role of Nikolas Cassadine.
I am listening to this again, after hearing the sad news about the passing of Tyler Christopher, October 31 2023. I am glad they have their faith to help them. My condolences to his family and loved ones. So he was working on a book, just like Matthew Perry .
I just rewatched this episode again after learning earlier today of his passing! I’m so very sorry to his children, family, all whose lives he’s touched! In my thoughts and prayers! Rest Easy Now! 😢🙏🏻💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
God bless you and Paula for helping Tyler Christopher as he battled his addiction, recovery and bi- polar disorder. You were wonderful friends to him and in the end, he knew he could count on YOU. He died knowing you were his true blue friends!!!
Just wanted to say I'm so devastated over Tyler's passing yesterday (Oct.31st 2023). In the last few months I've been watching the youtube full episodes of "Nikolas and Emily's love story", it is the very first time I'm watching these episodes and I'm so glad I got to see what a fantastic actor Tyler was, he was just such an incredible actor, he felt it all, he put his heart and soul into his acting, it just astounded me how good he was. I've been crying on and off most of today (Nov1st) as I still am just so stunned he's gone. I'm so sad to hear and read how much he had gone through in his life, dealing with alcohol addiction and depression on and off. He shall be missed and again I feel so privileged to be able to watch his incredible acting for the first time as Nikolas Cassidine on youtube. I watched him on days as Stefan but never watched GH with Tyler as Nikolas.
Wow, Tyler this wasn't easy for you but you picked a great platform to tell your story. As much as it was difficult to tell, it was also very difficult to hear. And you could see it on Maurice's face. He was so mesmerized but so distraught that his friend went through this. You are a survivor in so many ways, Tyler, you should think about being a motivational speaker. And Maurice you have this incredible ability to make people feel so comfortable in that chair and want to talk. This is helping so many. I am so happy to be a part of this community. Thanks for making it so easy to participate. And Maurice, maybe your not affectionate in the congenial way but you seem to offer a lot of love and support in other ways. God Bless.
I was drawn to this man as an Actor. I knew his talent ran deep. And his soul was reflected in his work. I am an actress, but am not trying to be dramatic. He was (is) among us as a teacher. On the heels of Matthew Perry’s passing--I believe they chose to be here to have us reflect on the need to be one as humans and not judge one another. I thank him and send hope and love to his friends and family. 🙏🏻
It is a shock and extremely sad to hear that Tyler passed away. He was phenomenal on General Hospital and in many other roles and obviously loved by those who worked with him. What a tragic loss for his children. Rest in peace; thanks for the wonderful memories.
Much respect to Mr. Christopher-that level of honesty and humility take the truest kind of courage, which is a force for much good in this world. What an inspiring conversation. Thank you Mr. Benard !! 💫
Don't see too many stars that care and reach out like you do your awesome person love watching you every day on general hospital so sad about Tyler know body could play role of Nikolas like Tyler could even tho he's back from dead again
No one ever wishes or asks for mental health issues. It is something you do not control and need help to deal with. My heart goes to Tyler. Addiction is hard to beat. God Bless you Tyler. Thank you for sharing your story to help others.❤
I am so happy to see Tyler on his own two feet.I miss him on GH, but didn’t realize the hell he was living.Thank you Maurice, for having Tyler on your program.I will 🙏 for both of you.The grass isn’t always greener, on the other side.❤️
I absolutely loved Tyler as Nikolas! The character of Nikolas hasn’t been right for me since him! I am so sorry he had to go through all this, but I am happy he is on the other side of it. I hope he continues to heal and remain healthy. In addition, it would be nice to have you back as Nikolas!
I am gutted. I loved watching Tyler Christopher on 'Days of Our Lives.' After Tyler moved to San Diego, where I live, I was ecstatic to have met him at a NAMI Walk San Diego event. Tyler was very nice and kind to me. Also, on one of my week night runs, in Balboa Park, I ran into Tyler where he would take his dog to the dog park. The news still feels unreal and I'm heart broken. I'm sad Tyler is gone and I won't see him around San Diego anymore. In the last couple of years, I would let Tyler know I was rooting for him, supporting him by watching his recently released movies and even received two video messages from him. At one point, Tyler had even messaged me and asked me to recommend some good restaurants in San Diego. I hope Tyler knew he was loved and appreciated. My heart goes out to Tyler's children, family, friends, and his dog, Tanka. Rest In Peace, Tyler. You will be missed and never forgotten. 😞💔🙏💙😢
Never did I think when I saw this interview that we would be saying goodbye to Tyler Christiansen RIP, prayers to his family and friends, especially Maurice🙏🏼🙏🏼
Watching this now after his passing is really bittersweet. He was such an incredible Nikolas on GH! So sad for his children. Bless them and the memories of Tyler left behind. May he rest in peace🕊🤍
I will be buying Tyler’s book - loved him forever and so glad he’s a survivor and so open. It gives me hope for my 35 yr old son struggling with bi-polar and addiction.
It's unclear whether he wrote it or not. He said that he was working on it. It not, maybe his friend will write one, with love and compassion about him.
Dearest Tyler and Maurice - What an amazing gift you have shared with us. To open your life, share your story, and make it open to the world - is so challenging, It is so very personal. Thank you for sharing this. Your focus on faith - the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen - was so vital and on point for me all today. We have to have faith. You both also reminded me of the work my parents did for years - at the Detroit City Rescue Mission. My Dad Ken Ouellette, was the superintendent there. Mom worked with the women and children's ministries. Through my growing up years, we were taught to respect everyone and that we too could be homeless, addicts, or other, "Where it not for the Grace of God." Dad many times said, as we discussed people, hardships, "There might I be, if it were not for the grace of God." I am grateful for your bravery to share. I know it will help others be honest with where they are, the choices made, and honest with choices for the future. Very heartwarming and inspiring. Thank you so much! Beth Joy
I only watched this the other day and thought how amazing it was. You were both so open about your journeys with mental illness. I am so saddened by the news of his passing. Rest in peace Tyler. ❤
Dear Maurice,I am praying you see this comment. This is the very first time I have had the great opportunity to see this show. After watching this, I don't know if the heavens are telling me this or if it's Tyler Christopher himself, but honestly you need to promote this show way more than you already do.I am no expert so i am not quite sure where or how but many more people absolutely need to see your show! This will help so many people struggling.Thank you for all you do.I love you, your wife& kids .Please take this to heart.❤ Loved your book BTW God has an amazing actor up there now, RIP Christopher
What a beautiful interview. Maurice, you are doing God's work here. Conversation flows so naturally. Thank you for getting Tyler on here. I miss him immensely on GH. No disrespect to the current Nikolas. But Tyler is whom I grew up watching. He has overcome so much and he is still standing. Much love to Tyler. I hope to see him on the show again. Mo. You are a class act!
RIP Tyler, You was a true Gem in every which way especially GH.. You will be missed by us your fans.. Sending Our sympathy & condolences to your family. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Tyler is one of my favorites - His personal story is absolutely astounding. Thank GOD he has fought for his life and his children. He is to be admired for his courage. I pray for his continued recovery, And want to see him back as an actor! May GOD bless Tyler!!
I just started watching episodes of State of Mind a few weeks ago-after reading your book. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend Tyler today. This interview was one of my favorites. My thoughts are with all who loved him.
Your best interview. Tyler shared so much. Maurice, your YT channel is helping people. I’m sure of it. So glad that you are helping people share their stories. ❤️
I feel like not only is it helping those of us watching these episodes, which I know how much it has truly helped me, but I feel it also helps Maurice to hear these stories & helps the actors/actresses that are being interviewed because it is more like a therapy session. And talking about these things provides you with such a level of peace and acceptance. Cuz when you let these things out is is no longer crushing you, your spirit, and your mentality cuz speaking about it kinda sets it all free. So it's kinda full circle.
@@MBStateOfMind I love seeing you and Nina together It's so Much Chemistry between you two It's just amazing and beautiful I hope they keep you two together for a long time In this storyline
Learned so much about Tyler Christopher in this episode. Chills when he called out to god and his friend shows up. I am so proud and in awe of his journey and i'm so thankful he's on the other side.
This has always been your best episode and sit down!! Tyler is the one and ONLY Nikolas - was so hoping that he would return to GH! Tyler was so loved and still shocked we lost this amazing man!! Prayers to you all 🙏
Maurice, I'm sitting here sobbing as I watch Tyler Christopher again. He was a great person and actor and I loved him liked a brother. God Bless Tyler and his family, friends and fans.❤😂
This was powerful. I had heard of Tyler from seeing GH a little bit like 20 years ago. But haven’t watched any soaps for so long just basically heard of him. Can relate to him so much. Have never had bi polar, but addiction to alcohol yes. I remember at like age 19 having withdrawals from alcohol and having the shakes and being scared your going to seizure. I am 61 now and sober for 17 years. I also was on the street briefly at also 19 with no money or food or nowhere to sleep that night. I had one lifeline and that was calling my aunt and uncle to ask to come live with them. If they said no I was also suicidal at the time . That phone call to them saved my life. They said yes. I empathize with any one who is an addiction or suicidal. This was best State of Mind interview yet. R.I.P Tyler
He’s absolutely right. When I worked as an RN in the ICU, I had several patients who went thru alcohol withdrawals as well as patients withdrawing from other substances. By far, alcohol is the worst and most dangerous. Tyler sharing his story is so helpful. Alcohol has always been romanticized and not recognized as a drug.
I hope if Tyler is ever tempted he will visualize the withdrawal. I never knew that with alcohol it could actually kill you.but the way he described the d.t.s I pray will be enough not to give in. So much to live for Tyler. God will lead the way, talk to him often. VERO BEACH FLORIDA LOVES YOU.
I miss him a lot I thought he was a good actor but what I didn't like how he look at the Camara a lot, I thought that was the reason the let him go. So sorry Tyler for all the trouble you went through. And the guy that let you come all the way to stay with with him and then turn you away that was awful he'll get his for treating you like that or worse. But why wouldn't his co-workers be there for him? I'm just saying😢 🤷.
Man, I would love to see Tyler back on GH, no disrespect to the current actor in the role, but Tyler is it for me. I wish him the best on his journey with sobriety. ❤️
I am so sad and heartbroken 💔 I literally remember his first day on screen as Nicholas. My deepest condolences to his children and all who loved him. I am not well. This is so upsetting, unfair and devastating 💔
I remember Tyler's first appearance as Nicholas. Instantly loved him. We are heartbroken. Love to his family and friends. And thanks to Maurice and Paula for being such supportive friends. 😢💔
This was the most significant conversation Maurice has had with another person. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. My heart is so full of compassion for Tyler and admiration for his courage.
Powerful interview. So sad Tyler is no longer with us. Very talented man and great to watch on the screen. In this instance I really wish he was Superman he would still be here. So sad! RIP Tyler
Extraordinary interview, and so important to talk about this stuff openly. Maurice did such a great job keeping Tyler disarmed and able to talk about really uncomfortable stuff. May his memory be a blessing.
Maurice- The most tuned in you’ve been and when you said to him about his childhood maybe I’m just thinking of this because I went through it - it was so bright of you to realize that! I knew the accident was from addiction from listening to the beginning- my brother and first love were undiagnosed bipolar due to addiction. I had a TBI difffuse axonal brain injury when a drunk guy hit us- with 10% chance to live so listen to this was so incredibly difficult and moving and emotional. Tyler you are alive for a reason - to be a dad I’m sure is part of that but Toughlove always helped my brother and it was the hardest thing for me to do. I pray that you are guided correctly by this doctor and that you beat this addiction- as a brain injury is enough alone. May he teach you how to learn the best with your bipolar. I need an hour to decompress from this interview it’s the best interview I think I’ve ever seen. Maurice- you are truly meant to do this. God Bless you both
I loved his Nicholas. I found Tyler to be so handsome and at ease in his role! No one compares to him. In his personal life, I can relate to the childhood demons that haunt him! It is a lifelong process to be free and find happiness! I wish him the very best on his journey. So many are rooting for him and urging him to have his best life for his children and himself
Tyler, I could not respect you more for your courage & honesty. Maurice, THANK YOU for this hour! If it’s possible, please have him back periodically for updates.
I’m speechless. This was quite the life experience that was shared. It takes a lot of courage, honesty, and humility to be so frank with and about oneself. I was deeply moved. All the best, Tyler and thank you Mr. Bernard.
This interview was the best I’m ever heard. Thank you Maurice and Tyler. That was tough. I’m glad Tyler made it through those horrific times he had. Sorry but I love you on general hospital and want you back. Take care and continue on with your life. Xxoo
I am devastated about Tyler. I only watched GH, because of his role Nickolas C… I believe the Character should be dissolved. He was so natural , his kindness just came out in character his life. His character, showed us. What a phenomenal person he was. No one like him. I just feel horrible about his struggles in life. Genie Francis send it best. Tyler was to good for this earth. God bless you Tyler. We will never forget you. Ty Sonny! For doing this interview. God bless.❤ 😞 Sad
He went through so much i have a new found respect for him. My mother struggled with bipolar for years and my brother also struggled with mental illness. Both are now deceased. I'm glad Tyler had a chance to tell his story. RIP Tyler.
So much respect for him. It shows that no matter how seemingly perfect the wrapper looks on the outside none of us truly know what's going on in the inside. Celebrities are human too and go through the human experience. Cannot wait til his book comes out.
came across "state of mind" by accident when I couldn't sleep this past week. watched this one with Tyler Christopher today. So bittersweet. To me, he is the only Nikolas Cassadine. I will keep watching these episodes to try and help with my own healing. I was molested by a relative as a teenager and I have never really dealt with it outside of finally saying it out loud during the ME TOO movement. Thank you for creating this forum.
Maurice- This interview was the best that I have heard. I met Tyler here in Schaumburg, Illinois at the General Hospital Fantasy Weekend. He was so nice and such a great person. I was wondering why he was off of GH and didn't know the struggles that he was going through. I will continue to pray for Tyler. If you took a poll, a lot of people would want Tyler back on GH. I hope that he continues to heal and be that great person that i met. Take care Tyler because your light will continue to shine. Your book could turn into a movie that will tell your story and help others.
I would love to see Tyler back on GH , all I knew was that he ended up on Days of our lives to which I quit watching when they had Marlena possessed years ago .. I can’t watch the level of evil .. one day I turned it on and seen Tyler playing as I believe in Stefanos family.. I’ve never watched it again. I’d love to see Tyler Steve Burton and Jax all back.. the medical mandates are ridiculous.

Breathtaking. I'm speechless! The most memorable conversation ever. Thank you for sharing this story with such an amazing person. God was not done with him. The best is yet to come!
Wow, what a powerful interview! It brought tears to my eyes when he talked about being homeless. I wish Tyler all the success in the world in both his personal life, and professional life.
Hands down my FAVORITE State of Mind! Thank you, Maurice for getting Tyler on the show. I enjoyed listening to Tyler's stories. He's a wonderful storyteller.
My all time favorite GH couple! 💜💙💜💙 There are a lot of couples that I extremely love together but, for me, no couple could ever surpass Nikolas & Emily. They had major chemistry together, and their storylines were so great, interesting, and intriguing. Miss them so much!
I have ALWAYS loved Tyler and it breaks my heart that he has gone through all these challenges! But I know he has come out stronger on the other side and I wish him only the very best things in life!!
Absolutely incredible interview! I pray everyone sees this. Awesome job Mr. Benard you are a natural interviewer. Tyler, your realness is so admired. God has big things for you to do, never be ashamed to share your story. You will help many with your story of perseverance and determination. You cried out for help and your strength and will got you through. God's hand is upon you!
One of the best interviews I’ve seen on this channel. Tyler’s book will be something everyone should read because we all have struggles. His mind set it not of a victim but a victor. This interview shows us how vital awareness of self and accountability is when it comes to change.
👆🏼MY BOYS RIGHT HERE! 👆🏼Love you Maurice and Ty! I wish I had known. He could’ve stayed at my place. I’m so grateful mental health is now being talked about so much. Clinical depression right here. So much of this is relatable. I love how God intervened right after he prayed…. Thank you both for this as it meant a lot. God bless you guys! 🙏🏼
I was totally pissed when he was recast and I went to Google saw the drinking issues and arrest and I couldn't understand why he was in the middle of the country probably where he grew up . If you have ever lived on either coast and been to middle America you'd never go back if in your right mind. The backwards thinking is just something I can't deal with the lack of education and common sense is so incredibly sad to me
I grew up with Tyler on GH. I wish him all the health, happiness, and wellness that he deserves. You made it through a storm - keep on moving forward with grace. ❤️
You ended up right where YOU TYLER NEEDED TO BE…GENERAL HOSPITAL AND DAYS OF OUR LIVES!!! The world needed to see you and thru those shows we got to see you Tyler and WE FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!
I absolutely enjoyed everything about this episode. Thank you for showing us this side of Tyler. Life always has a way of making you humble. I'm a combat vet and I struggle with anxiety every day. All of us have our struggles and I admire those who aren't afraid to share their experiences.
Found your RUclips via an article on Tyler Christopher. New subscriber now 💕. I, too, am Bipolar and finding this conversation between two of my favorites is such a gift. I’m deeply saddened by this tremendous loss. I am grateful for you, Sir, and the mantle you have taken up to help those of us who live with it. As well as being a voice for others to hear and learn to understand what we deal with. Bless you. Love and Light, Always. ❤🙏🏽
How many of you are here again because your heart is broken 😢 Tyler will still be with his kids, I pray that they understand this with time. RIP Tyler, we love you
Hard to miss someone if they only show up 3 days a month. I would argue, someone would miss a dearly loved pet that they interacted with on a daily basis, and had suddenly crossed the rainbow bridge, a hell of a lot more.
It really is a God-given miracle that Tyler is still here and speaking to us! Maurice, thank you so much for allowing Tyler the space to tell his story. He has been on my mind several times over the last few years and I pray for his health and his relationship with his children.
This sit down with Tyler was great!! The best sit down you had by far!! He was so open and explained everything he went through in such detail and my heart really went out to him! The feeling of isolation breaks my heart for him and really pray and hope he gets the love and support he deserves from family and friends!! It kind of upsets me that no one was there for him helping him to get help? Where were all his friends and family at that time? How can a beloved icon be homeless on the streets?? People need to be there for each other and help each other in times of despair no matter what! I hope Maurice stays close to him and watches over him after hearing all he went through alone? So shocking but Thank God he did get the proper help! But he shouldn't be alone and isolated anymore and pray his friends and family surround him with love and just being there for him. No one deserves to be isolated like that no matter what they are going through. They just need the proper help not to have people turn their backs on them. Yes he had a drinking addiction but he needed the guidance of friends and family to get the help he needed bottom line. I hope abd pray his career soars now as he is an amazing actor and does have a gift!! He was amazing as Nicholas Casadine on gh and no other actor can play that role like Tyler! This was a great sit down and probably the best!! Your fans really love you Tyler and pushing for you!! ❤❤❤
Thank you both. I suffer from anxiety and depression. It takes a lot to admit you have a problem. Tyler in my mind you are still an awesome actor and Maurice who doesn't love Sonny? LOL
I have been an avid GH watcher since the 80's. I knew that Maurice was playing Sonny as a Bipolar character but I had no idea he really suffered from it. I had no idea Tyler suffered from it as well. These podcasts really bring true humanism to the actors we have watched for many years because it reminds us that the people behind them are just as human as we all are with issues just like we all may have. I Love you so much for doing this Maurice and while I have always loved your character Sonny, I appreciate you much more as a person now.
What a great interview... My mother is 88 and bipolar..my relationship has been hard thru the years..30 yrs at one time no communication..I have forgiven but not forgotten what she has done to me. This interview really helped me understand more about her bipolar depression...my wish for Tyler is to continue his good work. Writing his book will be hard but so worth it...🙏

Much respect to Mr. Christopher-that level of honesty and humility take the truest kind of courage, which is a force for much good in this world. What an inspiring conversation. Thank you Mr. Benard !! 💫
RIP Tyler! You were loved!!❤😢
You just never know what is going on in people's lives. This episode was heartbreaking. Wishing all good things to both Tyler and Maurice.
Thank You
2 ASTONISHING MEN & THEIR STORIES
Don't see too many stars that care and reach out like you do your awesome person love watching you every day on general hospital so sad about Tyler know body could play role of Nikolas like Tyler could even tho he's back from dead again
One year later and now Tyler is gone. 💔
Make this man's life story into a movie. It will be an inspirational smash hit!
This was so raw and real. Tyler taking accountability is admiring. This was an amazing episode, Maurice. Thank you.
I love these episodes, thank you
RIP Tyler. Rest in God’s hands. He was so real.🙏🏽🙏🏽
Beautifully said manny. I too am devastated over his and Billy millers passing
Yes I rarely read books usually online stuff but this book might be the one I have to get because he is so missed on GH
Oh wow me too especially if it comes on Audible!
Sending love to you and your son. I have a 29 year old son with bipolar who has struggled with addiction as well
@Soccermom520 - I didn’t know that he had a book.
It's unclear whether he wrote it or not. He said that he was working on it. It not, maybe his friend will write one, with love and compassion about him.
Dearest Tyler and Maurice -
What an amazing gift you have shared with us.
Through my growing up years, we were taught to respect everyone and that we too could be homeless, addicts, or other, "Where it not for the Grace of God." Dad many times said, as we discussed people, hardships, "There might I be, if it were not for the grace of God."
I am grateful for your bravery to share. I know it will help others be honest with where they are, the choices made, and honest with choices for the future.
Very heartwarming and inspiring.
Thank you so much!
Beth Joy
I can’t wait for this one! I hope Tyler is in a good place and doing well. He IS Nikolas Cassadine! Very much missed on GH.
Thank You
I only watched this the other day and thought how amazing it was. You were both so open about your journeys with mental illness. I am so saddened by the news of his passing. Rest in peace Tyler. ❤
I know, I am watching it again after hearing about Tyler Christopher’s passing.
I watched this 3 times. This is my favorite episode. Came here today to watch it again. I can't. I'm not ready. I miss you, Tyler. 😢
Thank You
@@MBStateOfMind
I miss Tyler as Nicholas I hope he comes back as the original Nicholas Cassadine
RIP Tyler,
You was a true Gem in every which way especially GH..
You will be missed by us your fans..
Sending Our sympathy & condolences to your family. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Tyler is one of my favorites -
His personal story is absolutely astounding. Thank GOD he has fought for his life and his children. He is to be admired for his courage.
I pray for his continued recovery, And want to see him back as an actor! May GOD bless Tyler!!
Thanks 😊 yea yea
I just started watching episodes of State of Mind a few weeks ago-after reading your book. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend Tyler today. This interview was one of my favorites. My thoughts are with all who loved him.
Your best interview. Tyler shared so much. Maurice, your YT channel is helping people. I’m sure of it. So glad that you are helping people share their stories. ❤️
Thank You
I feel like not only is it helping those of us watching these episodes, which I know how much it has truly helped me, but I feel it also helps Maurice to hear these stories & helps the actors/actresses that are being interviewed because it is more like a therapy session. And talking about these things provides you with such a level of peace and acceptance. Cuz when you let these things out is is no longer crushing you, your spirit, and your mentality cuz speaking about it kinda sets it all free. So it's kinda full circle.
@@MBStateOfMind
I love seeing you and Nina together
It's so Much Chemistry between you two It's just amazing and beautiful
I hope they keep you two together for a long time In this storyline
Learned so much about Tyler Christopher in this episode. Chills when he called out to god and his friend shows up. I am so proud and in awe of his journey and i'm so thankful he's on the other side.
Thanks 😊
Alcohol has always been romanticized and not recognized as a drug.
well said
So so true , I am grateful not to be gripped by this insidious substance . Another reason its so damaging is it is cheap and available.
I agree totally.
I feel it would add more weight to Spencer's character, especially with the history with Courtney.
He will always be Nicholas to me I loved him with young Spencer..
I need to agree, no disrespect for the current actor's talent at all, but for me, when Tyler left, Nicholas left. Some shoes just can't be filled.
Same
I am so sad and heartbroken 💔 I literally remember his first day on screen as Nicholas.
I’m so sorry, Maurice, for the loss of your dear friend🙏❤️
TYLER CHRISTOPHER, you were an outstanding actor and special person. Gone too soon. Rest in Peace.
Just heard he passed away. What a loss! RIP TYLER!
I'm sorry for your loss Maurice. I didn't know who Tyler was before today but I just watched the whole interview. Powerful stuff.
@MarcusDeGrand - I didn’t watch all of his time on “General Hospital” , either.
This was the most significant conversation Maurice has had with another person. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. My heart is so full of compassion for Tyler and admiration for his courage.
Thank You
This was my favorite interview. Tyler Christopher was so honest and real. 🙏🏾🕊
Powerful interview. So sad Tyler is no longer with us. Very talented man and great to watch on the screen. In this instance I really wish he was Superman he would still be here. So sad! RIP Tyler
What a deeply profound interview. It takes such courage to be so transparent. I’m in awe.
Tyler, thank you for being so open.
Exactly.what a impressive intellect.
God Bless you both
What you said. Yes 👍👍
Thank You
I loved his Nicholas.
Bernard.
You took the words right out of my mouth…this was absolutely incredible!
I could not have said that better myself if I tried
This interview was the best I’m ever heard. Thank you Maurice and Tyler. That was tough. I’m glad Tyler made it through those horrific times he had. Sorry but I love you on general hospital and want you back. Take care and continue on with your life. Xxoo
😊 thanks
That would be perfect.
Thanks
I would love to see Tyler back on GH , all I knew was that he ended up on Days of our lives to which I quit watching when they had Marlena possessed years ago .. I can’t watch the level of evil .. one day I turned it on and seen Tyler playing as I believe in Stefanos family.. I’ve never watched it again. I’d love to see Tyler Steve Burton and Jax all back.. the medical mandates are ridiculous.
@@MBStateOfMind Maurice I have a grandson that's bipolar, I'm just now trying to learn about this disease, but my question is.......is rage part of a 18 year old life?? He can be so loving but all of a sudden he's mad and screaming at everyone!! My daughter is so afraid of him!! It's horrible to say but he has moved out of my house and moved in with his other grandmother that's been diagnosed bipolar manic like Tyler!! Life is so hard to halfway normal people, I so sorry about him..
Thank you for all you're doing to wake this world up to mental illness, I've learned so much!! I'm going to purchase your book for my family!! God Bless you sweet Maurice!!
@@Leann2
No what is ridiculous is that people are dying because of the virus that's ridiculous mandate to protect other people other than yourself is not being ridiculous it's called being cautious
I wish that the knowledge that someone is loved by friends and family would help them get through dark times when the demons come. But it isn't that way. Tyler, you were such an amazing actor - one of GH's best. I will miss you now even more. RIP. Condolences to Maurice and all who loved Tyler.
Breathtaking. I'm speechless! The most memorable conversation ever. Thank you for sharing this story with such an amazing person. God was not done with him. The best is yet to come!
Thank You 😊
So incredibly sad.. may he rest easy and be at peace 🙏 what an amazing actor, gone way to soon!
Wow, what a powerful interview! It brought tears to my eyes when he talked about being homeless. I wish Tyler all the success in the world in both his personal life, and professional life.
Thank You
This is the only Nikolas! Maurice fantastic interview! Thank you for this! I’m learning so much from you!
Hands down my FAVORITE State of Mind! Thank you, Maurice for getting Tyler on the show. I enjoyed listening to Tyler's stories. He's a wonderful storyteller.
Rewatching this episode again it’s was so transparent and beautifully done! May he Rest In Peace 😔 🙏!
If it wasn’t Sonny on screen then I was hoping it was Nicolas’ day! Loved Tyler as Nicolas. Loved him and Emily🔥🔥
My all time favorite GH couple! 💜💙💜💙 There are a lot of couples that I extremely love together but, for me, no couple could ever surpass Nikolas & Emily. They had major chemistry together, and their storylines were so great, interesting, and intriguing. Miss them so much!
@@krissyterry9908 😍😍
I miss them to! He is the only Nikolas!
I have ALWAYS loved Tyler and it breaks my heart that he has gone through all these challenges! But I know he has come out stronger on the other side and I wish him only the very best things in life!!
Thank You
Absolutely incredible interview!
Thank You 😊
Amen
This interview was enlightening, and the everyday struggle and pain are evident . God bless him
I am rooting for his continued success 🙌 🙏🏾 ❤️
I'm so sad. I loved Tyler's work on GH. God be with his children. 🙏
One of the best interviews I’ve seen on this channel. Tyler’s book will be something everyone should read because we all have struggles. His mind set it not of a victim but a victor. This interview shows us how vital awareness of self and accountability is when it comes to change.
Thank You
👆🏼MY BOYS RIGHT HERE!
I commend him on how far he has come through all of this struggle...God bless him..prayers for him as well.
You ended up right where YOU TYLER NEEDED TO BE…GENERAL HOSPITAL AND DAYS OF OUR LIVES!!!
The world needed to see you and thru those shows we got to see you Tyler and WE FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!
No words. Raw honesty. He is going to help someone with his story.
I absolutely enjoyed everything about this episode. Thank you for showing us this side of Tyler. Life always has a way of making you humble. I'm a combat vet and I struggle with anxiety every day. All of us have our struggles and I admire those who aren't afraid to share their experiences.
Thank You

I am...
I am looking forward to this show. I appreciate the inclusion, of Christopher. On State of Mind. I've missed him.
Thank You
It really is a God-given miracle that Tyler is still here and speaking to us! Maurice, thank you so much for allowing Tyler the space to tell his story. He has been on my mind several times over the last few years and I pray for his health and his relationship with his children.
Thank You
This sit down with Tyler was great!! ❤❤❤
Thank You 😊
Thank you both.
Thank You 😊
What a great interview...
My mother is 88 and bipolar..my relationship has been hard thru the years..30 yrs at one time no communication..I have forgiven but not forgotten what she has done to me. This interview really helped me understand more about her bipolar depression...my wish for Tyler is to continue his good work. Writing his book will be hard but so worth it...🙏
I miss you so much on GH..❤️
I'm sorry about Tyler Christopher. We all miss him rip. From fans of gh.
