Haha thanks man wouldnt say its a bad bike to start on but wouldnt recommend anyone with no previous experience to pick it u from 4 hours away and ride it home alone hahah thanks man
@@ThePottingmachine bad idea but can be done, check out some of my other vids, the mt07 i got after owning this bike was the best thing i could do, would highly reccomend and naked bike, duke 790, mt07, something with accessable power where you want it on the streets and comfortable riding position to inspire confidence, sport bikes are cool but there hard work in the long run, need to wind them up and cant touch the real power unless you go track, i would only reccomedn super sport if its a dream bike, track bike, weekend fun or to look cool (after riding 3 years i realised that the 'il grow into it' approach is not smart and will only slow down your learning, the more you get out of a bike means the more fun you will have
“If I die then I die” I literally felt this exact same way yesterday, picked up my 2021 MT07 from a dealer 2 hours away and rode it home in the pouring rain. My last bike had about half the torque and hp
Great video definitely had me worried in the beginning but at least you had the confidence to get the bike in the first place especially a zx6r keep riding man wish you the best of luck
These new rider videos are refreshing,i think maybe u guys are having the most fun.a surfing phrase comes to mind, the best surfer is the one with the biggest grin on his face !
Bought my 2019 ZX6-R three weeks ago. She’s my first street machine, and I have no regrets. I’ve ridden dirt bikes my whole life (sometimes on paved highway) so I know how to handle a bike, but talk bout MAD! I love it. It’s a proper bike to learn on, but it’s stupid fast for a first bike. I’ll never get rid of her! Enjoy Mate!!! Be careful on those wet roads though!
oiiiiiiii that must be naughty! 19 model yeh you must be loving it lol yeh man too fast I only really just starteed fucking around with the power bad recently and its a madness lol and yeh trust me I am now, flew off it couple months back in the wet lol was a learning curve that one thanks for watching man... Doing a subscriber meet up for 1k subs with all my ogs who been supportive stay active and were link up!
This is an excellent video, I really felt nervous for you to be honest, as if it was my own bike. Very immersive for the first time collecting your bike. Ride safe. You have a new subscriber.
Loved the video, as someone contemplating a 636 as well for a first bike was nice to see you struggling and learning as you go on those roads. Luckily I live in a sunny desert haha. Clean bike and ride safe! Cheers from across the pond in the U.S.
thank you man! Just take it easy and dont stop learning, its very easy to think oh i can ride good now but you have to keep pushing and learninig, read twist of the wrist 2 and total control by lee parks or i will never reply to your comment again HAHA
You've got bigger balls than me, my friend, I passed my A2 about three months ago and picked up my first bike the week after I passed. Nothing but respect for you jumping on such a powerful machine as a new rider. I ended up buying the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. I'm not a speed demon and am happy crusing along, taking in the views. Either way, mad respect brother, stay safe 🙏
Haha 💀 bravery and stupidity fall close together lol but yeh this is a day I won’t forget ever I don’t think haha I still remember this day very clearly Thanks for watching man and yeh same way I’m not a speed demon either I found that out after owning this bike, I ended up going to a mt07, then a 701, then a Crf450r sm then to another 07 haha Right now I’m out in Brazil on a cg160 💀 currently looking at another MT07 🇧🇷 haha I love the 07s That 350 will allow you to learn way more at a faster rate, and you will be able to use all of the bike, This 600 I couldn’t even scratch the surface, it leaves it a frustrating ride cause you have to do 60+ for the bike to even wake up then you got to slow down cause police, traffic etc feel unsafe doing 70+ on street The 07 and the 701 allow me to get way more out of the bike it’s so much more usable in a lot more situations which makes it so much more fun to ride The MT07 is near half the price of the 07 and easier to live with which is why it’s one of my favourite bikes I would love to get to a f850gs or something next year tho try out the adventure bikes
@TARZANMotoVlogs totally get you, bro. I've never been into the sports bikes myself. I enjoy watching BSB a fair bit, but that's it. The RE meteor 350 has been a great way to build my confidence. It's also great for commuting and Sunday riding to a nice country pub with my mrs on the back. I'm gonna keep it for a fair few more years, then I'll probably upgrade and get the RE Meteor 650. It's a heavier, more powerful machine and better for touring. I'm a bit of a Royal Enfield nut if you haven't noticed 😂. If you want to get into the adventure style of bikes, I can highly recommend the Royal Enfield Himelayan 450. My best mate rides one, and I've ridden it a few times it's a fantastic machine. Me and him are planning to do the NC500 in Scotland this summer using our bikes.
For your first time riding the bike I must say you did pretty good man good luck and wish you the best with you’re new baby lol that highway pull at the end remainded me of when I first started riding. Just be careful and don’t get too confident on the bike to quickly because you’ll end up in a situation that you have no idea how to get out of. Be safe bro
Thanks man listen I appreciate you watching and commenting it means a lot and yehhhh man never felt nothing like it lol had to dare myself but yeh you right you gotta be careful on these things I wouldnt recommend them to anyone who doesnt have good self control
@@gringostyl 05-09 GSXR 600. Something old just in case i drop it. But i have to get all my own gear and go through the course again so it may be a while before im riding
Sport bikes are all leaning during turns. Totally different then my cruisers. The sport bike is so much fun, im so hooked. Im 43yr old. There is nothing more exhilarating then cracking open a inline 4!! The high revs and speed makes me smile ear to ear just thing about it!
Yeh its defiantly one of the best things I've ever done I can't stay off of it lol Yeh nothing I've ever done compares to the feeling, that inks for watching man and thanks for taking time to drop a comment I appreciate it!
You done the right thing there mate, practice practice practice - even now im still spending time just on a car park buzzing in and around cones, emergency stops etc - you gotta keep your tools sharp!
Haha thank you man! Doing a lot better now on my mt-07 and hopefully adding a r6 to the family aswell in a month or two so be able to bring some good content switching between bikes etc thanks for leaving a comment👊👊
Credit to you man, It takes a lot of courage to do what you did. Thanks for posting your first ride; only some people will post their first ride on a new bike. I am nervous because ill be picking up a new bike next month. Undecided if I want to go with a 600cc.
thank you, with what I know now I will always advise against starting on a 600 haha you literally miss out on so much learning / fun Be better to start on something more practical, useable power like a parallel twin, comfy so can ride all day get triple the seat time and learn 3x faster, then you will find out what style of riding you like / want to push for and can take your next step from there... Sport bikes are very good and fun, but the most fun you will get out of riding will be down to how much you can get out of the bike your ride Let me know how you get on!
Thanks for watching man! Any questions just ask! Rememebr this day like it was yday haha check my latest videos I’m on a MT07 right now such good fun would’ve been a much better option than this for a first bike haha👊
Thank you 👊 good times haha thinking of getting a 17 636 for 2024 around March time get back on a sport bike it’s been a while lol good luck with the vlogs 👊👊
@Not bad! Good choice on the chosen bike as well. As I watched your video, it brought me back to my first purchase and that ride home. My stomach was in a knot when you pulled away and my pulse was rising knowing the feeling you were experiencing are intense and intimidating. At the same time, hoping your maiden voyage was a safe one. Played it safe... well, for a moment it seemed! Hahaha good show cracking that throttle open. These bikes like to breathe. Hope all is well and thanks for uploading that video. Really enjoyed it. Take care and WHAT UP from California! Late!
you explained the way i felt better than i could explain haha you definatly talk from experience! its good to hear everyones first stories on here haha yeh you know had to see what it was really like! and yehhh out there in Cali! mad! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment man means a lot👊👊
haha mad experience!! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment man i appreciate it everyone showing mad support atm without people commenting and interacting with me and the video the channel wouldnt be growing so I appreciate you man👊👊
Thanks lol cant even watch this video back makes me feel mad nervous haha appreciate you checking the video and dropping a comment! new video dropping in a hour!
So funny 🤣. That was exactly how I felt about six weeks ago. Not nearly as scary for me since I bought a Ninja 400. I will hopefully move up to the ZX-6R when I build up my riding skills. Good luck, ride safe 👍
haha good to know people can relate haha yeh probably a bit more of a sensible choice there these are very aggressive foot pegs are high and seat and the handle bars are low so its very unatural! thanks for watching!!
Haha gpod stuff bro. You have balls. Well done. I remember picking up my first bike after never riding before and taking it straight down the freeway in peak hour. I shat myself!
Very raw video man loved it! Reminds me of my first ride with my ninja 250 couple of days after my test, I was stuck at some lights trying to take off in second hahaha 😅 (many years ago now) I'm Picking up my zx6r tomorrow have a 400km ride home with it should give me some one on one time with bike. Keep up with videos and ride safe TWO WHEELS ONE LOVE!!
thanks man fully appreciate you taking time to comment 👊👊 yeh jokes haha you should be exited lol your in for a different experience to that 250 when that powerband kicks in its like you enter a different dimension lool yeh stay safe man and will do!
Only just saw this comment it didnt pop up! Yeh nice man all I can say is be exited! haha Are you getting it tomrrow?? + thanks for watchoing and dropping a comment👊👊
I’m glad I learn at the age of 12 on a full size bike weighing probably 3x my own weight. I didn’t have to worry about cars and traffic while learning in field. Seriously my brother explained the friction point of the clutch and from there I was off and going. The up shifts and down shifts weren’t hard compared to taking off the first few times. By the way you got exact year and model as my present ride, triple black and all. Here in the states I began driving a car at 15. Unlike my oldest brother who always had a book in his face, I at least watched as my parents drove observing street names and signage. He on the other hand was completely lost and had to have everything mapped out for him, street by street, turn by turn. Some of us are born ready to drive and ride. 😎
good comment man thank you and yeh exactly were born for this haha check the latest content its a bit different but im still active! i live for this bike life
This video took so much confidence, for real... Not that he has any riding defense, but he took his time, and didn't ride like an asshole. Enjoy your new lifestyle man!
I appreciate that man nothin but the truth on this channel! Thanks for taking the time to comment it means a lot, and yeh been riding for l7/8 months now and loved every bit of it... even falling off was a good experience lool Im doing a giveaway atm for when I reach 1000 subs so look out for that! Im promoting it on my live streams where the winner gets the choice of a brand new pair of RST Track Tech Evo 3 Boots in a colour of their choice or a Scuf Controller, depends if the person watches me for riding or for gaming👊👊
I have never had a sport bike. Enduros and my 2012 harley heritage softail classic. I plan to teach motorcycle safety for my retirement job. Stay safe, keep your head up and turn your head and look where you want to go. Always remind yourself to turn your head.
4k rpm, *this is mad* Being a new ZX6R owner myself, yeah .. I agree this thing feels mad even down low when coming from nothing or in my case a GS500 and I thought that bike was fast Seeing you struggle to get it up off of the kickstand did get me worried, I had that issue on my first motorcycle and kept having it the first few days at stop lights and generally anytime I had to balance but it didn't have 127 horses and a screamer inline 4 Hope you're still riding & having fun though!
Thanks for watching and commenting man! Yeh still riding! Got rid of this bike in September and got a MT07 end of October having so much fun on it haha miss the Zx6r! Hopefully add another bike in the summer! How you finding the zx6r??? Things naughty when you hit around 9-11k!
@@gringostyl No worries my dude! Lots of fun seeing someone's first experience like that! Scrolled through your channel and I noticed you did get rid of it, out of curiosity: why? :) I'm lovin' mine! My GS500 failed unexpectedly and saw my 2006 ZX6R pop-up a day after; that's no luck, that's destiny! Came with an amazing MIVV exhaust, custom fairings (matt black) and Full led blinkers + HID "angel eyes" My GS got attention for being a cute café racer, this gets attention for being a monster and it being a Kawi it has monster energy decals .. everywhere lol Got some fresh tires on it last week (Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3's) and even in the winter it sticks pretty well! Need to have the brakes, discs & fluids fully replaced & serviced but on a private road in Botswana I did full-send it up to 15 500rpm and it's mad Power starts at 8k and just builds, I was on coms with my brother and he can confirm I screamed like a baby all the way to redline! His little Hyundai i20 couldn't keep up .. I wonder why x) Seating position is aggressive but as I ride motorcycles for fun & not transport I can get away with some mildly crampy wrists after a long ride Also looking at the bikes reflection while riding makes me drool, so it's all worth it :p Anywaayyys hope you get many more safe miles! If you every happen to be around Belgium/France/Germany or the Netherlands, let me know I'd love to go for spirited ride! (svenmissorten on insta ;) ) Enjoy the MT07, it's akra sounds mint btw!
Yeh mate if I am ever over them ways any time soon il be sure to post it on my socials cause I’d be looking to meet people! Haha And I made a video on why I chose the mt-07 have a look at that it should answer your question haha It would be perfect to have a super a long side this MT07! Maybe in the summer I will make that happen👊
This video is so good man! Just subbed so I can follow the rest of the journey. I imagine I'll have the same sort of reaction when buying my first bike
Thanks man!!! Yeh the whole journey is on the channel LOL come a longggggg way since this day… check the latest short upload 😎 also any questions just ask! Comment on a different video tho so I’m notified, RUclips doesn’t notify for comment replies really
Was toying with doing a direct access after my CBT. but think I’ll cop a “big” 125 have it for a few months just to gain experience then do mod 1 & mod 2
Thank you and yeh good work!!! Let me know which one your going for! I got a mt-07 currently but a new super is getting added to the family summer as well haha
@@gringostyl I want to get the ZX6R or the GSXR600 but they have to be restricted to 35kw cuz my licence doesnt allow me to ride a faster bike. If I cant find a restricted 600cc I'll have to go for the ninja 250
Man this is as real as it gets, raw no nonsense footage, lot's of respect to you for doing that. I want to start on a 600 too (GSXR) but i would of paid superbike factory to deliver the bike to me at my home lol, I've seen that dealer pop up all the time online while looking at bikes, nice to see actual footage of the place. You did well getting that bike home though, good stuff bro.
Thanks man I appreciate that👊 Didnt know what I had got myself into on this day lool yeh definatly recommend getting it delivered if you new to riding! Let me know what bike you end up getting aswell thanks for watching and dropping a comment means a lot👊👊
OMG I'm following the same path last time I drove a bike was an awesome RD350, thinking how slow she is...I was only 22... now nearly 3 decades later I'm dreaming of buying my second first bike and I'm so bloody scared of those street rippers. :))
Wouldn't have recommended a supersport as a first bike. The power, the ergonomics, the weight...for a new rider it's a lot to take in, and while people do it often, the added distraction of the more difficult ride takes attention away from all the other things riders need to be watching out for. Definitely seem like a great guy, but moderate that confidence. You need it to ride, but too much can be trouble. It isn't the failure to grasp riding that gets people, it's stupid mistakes that we all know better than to make.
yeh thats a good point about not being able to fully focus on hat going on around you on the road, thanks for watching and dropping some useful knowledge bombs appreciate you checking in man👊👊
I bought my suzuki gsxr 600 as my first bike ever I ve never used any motorbike before so I hope I wont die (I am a great biker tho) your video gave me courage.
Had my '08' ZX6-R about 10months now, it was also my 1st big bike. Your video had me laughing as it was pretty similar to my 1st ride on it.haha I've changed the downpipes (cat converter removed) and just about to get a deeptone end can fitted. Traffic get out the way right quick!! 🤣👌
haha thanks man I felt the same when I was riding it lol I appreciate you checking the video and dropping a comment! New videos every Monday and Friday atm
It took me awhile to get used to the seating position and how far back the foot pegs were. But love the zx6r my first sportbike is a 2021 zx6r and I love it!
I started on a 2017 zx-6r in similar fashion. But being from the U.S. those roads would have made me shit my self with out the motorcycle lol. Hope your still doing well.
yooo thanks for checking in! Yeh love that real nice bike man and was definatly an experience il always remember haha still going strong thanks! Just sold my zx6r for a new bike that il be buying in a week or 2 and hopefully get few more bikes added to the collection over the winter ready for track next year time to level up haha If you get a minute check out the brand I just launched www.fxckaverage.com and on instragram its instagram.com/fxckaverageofficial/ let me know what you think!
@@dereksmith5551 yeh this bike is not for beginners and after years of experience i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone as it really limits your learning while also creating more oppertunity for something to go wrong, but cant it be done... yes haha but by far not the smartest choice
@@gringostyl thanks man. That’s from experience. I’ve seen too many cars pull out of side streets in front of bikes. That’s proof. I think all bikers should sound their horn when approaching vehicles stopped at adjoining side roads. To alert the driver of your presence. Less accidents would occur. Stay safe man!
@@Robert-cg4fp yeh theres only so much that can be done just ride defensive, il give a little rev or two if i reel like someone hasnt seen me when i ride street, better to be safe than sorry just couple blips and good to go dont need to rev bomb them hahaha
Wow what a sick video. Just booked my test and going straight for a 600 like yours... absolutely 💯 shitting my pants but can not wait either. Do you have any regrets looking back at jumping straight on a 600???
Thank you man 👊 yes and no, No because i enjoyed it and it also made me want to come away from supers to learn more And yes because of where I’m at now and I wish I started with a grom stunt build hahaha but if I had to go back and choose at that stage of my life I would’ve started on a MT07 as I would’ve learned more and faster
@TARZAN MotoVlogs OK thanks a lot for opinion and update... Iv done a lot of thinking and still gonna go for a super.. but definitely going with the ninja rather than a r6. Hopefully maybe run into you at some point in my bikelife
@@chrishatton865 go for it man! if i was to get a super rn id definitly get a 13 - current 636! If i had the choice of any super i would get the s1k just because of the reviews of comfort and street riding feel haha one dya il be back on one, and yeh man i hope so too
Gotta say I’m very envious, I’ve watched most of your vids now and love em, actually you have given me the shove I needed to dip my toe into the two wheeled world👌🏻, I’m only going for the cbt first though and spend a year on a 125 to see if I like it, I’m going for a new lexmoto LXR 125. Thanks for the shove and the first class honest videos👊🏻 stay safe man.

Congrats on the bike man! I'm amazed at how horrible were the conditions for your first steps as a rider, England it's definitely not the best place to ride
yes! thanks man i love it except its in the shop atm cause i crashed it the other day hahah having mad withdrawal symptoms feel like i need to be checked into motorbike rehab or sumin lol should be ready today for me to collect tho but thanks for watching and dropping a comment means a lot 👊👊

Wat about getting a yamaha r7 to begin with?? Been advised to start with that. And I want a superbike for the weekend at some point. So I want a sexy bike to begin with yamaha r7 or r6?? Wat u think?
r7 would be pretty cool i recon, useable power, ive never riden one but they look smart, my personal choice would be mt07 cause it feels like a chunky dirt bike, and r7 is kind of i dont know how to explain but i feel like you would get on it and expect it to perform like a race bike but instead get street bike performance, riding is all personal preference so its hard to advise you on what id reccomend haha it depends what you want out of the bike - r7 will be expesive for what it is thats the only thing but if price dont matter then send it I feel like if i wanted a super sport, i would buy one, not a naked bike in a super sport body but i really have no idea im just thinking out loud rn lol
haha yeh sweet where you from? better to be scared of it and drive careful than get on it like a mad man with no control lol about to drop a vid tomrrow that i filmed exactly a week later check it out might make you a bit more confident with it
haha good work!! Sorry for the late reply I cant reply to my friday videos until monday... Have you brought it yet? How is she? And thnks for watching and commenting man I appreciate you👊
Sorry for the late reply myself bro! I ended up not buying the zx6r and got an sv650s fully faired. Managed to get my CBT done first on an er6 kawi so it made life a bit easier. Honestly I had ridden a 600 for like a few hours for my cbt then went and ripped a wheely on the sv650 the next day haha. Also tested a Honda hornet but didn't like the low speed manouvering their all over the road because they have a stupid 16" front wheel and a 17 back. Ripped the guts out of the hornet on the back roads where I live too, it was my first time on my own and I was hitting the power band in second. Ended up crashing the sv with no license (covid cancelled my test). Got 7 points for no license, insurance, no front or rear L plate, driving with undue care and attention.. Now. I can't get a bike because I'm currently on 10 points lol. Zx6r or mt-09 next year though
👊👊 haha still going strong just got a MT 07 for winter R6 coming in Feb check the latest vids just waiting for new mic to come through aswell cause other broke Thanks for checking the channel
thanks man appretiate you watching next one coming is my take on starting on 600 supersport from my experience and some better riding + mics coming on the 19th so will have good audio and a lot more videos covering gym topics and some random vlogs if you interested in that stuff keep a eye out
Picking mine up in the morning it’s 2013 it’s literally my first bike mostly rode mopeds and dirtbike got it from a friend for dirt cheap less than 3k original mines super nervous 😅 wish me luck
yessss good stuff im exited for you! You got a lot of good times coming your way just take it easy your be ok no rush no pressure just go slow take your time and 2013 aswell thats my favourite model! haha keep me updated man let me know how your getting on here and there I sold mine and got a mt 07 but getting an r6 as a second bike in may keeping the mt 07 as well cause its too much fun haha
Ohhhh shhhhhyyt good time hear man! If your Uk then link up in the summer! We’re get a video done if your not uk tho be a bit hard to do hahah thanks for checking back in tho! Il be buying an R6 in may so be back on a super as well the MT-07 so stay tuneddddd
Nice, be sure to get that exhaust checked out if you haven't already, that's a lot of smoke. Also, be careful with the speeding man. Allow yourself to get used to the bike a bit before going so fast. Ride safe bro!
Yeh i had the whole bike checked after i brought it to make sure its all good and it was this was in january in the cold weather so think it was just condensation thanks for watching man i appreciate you watching and commenting
This video is awesome, I was giggling my arse off. So candid and relatable to everyone who has ridden bikes on the road. Nothing like hyping yourself up when you're crapping your pants hahah. Awesome stuff, really entertaining 😂 The fear but simultaneous joy is palpable! But yes, its not quite recommended for people to learn on a sport bike like that for this reason heh, the positioning is quite awkward for a new rider. Naked squad rise up 🤙
haha thank you man! Yeh im on a mt-07 right now if I was going to keep one bike i would get the mt-10! but im getting an r6 in may to keep the mt company long as everything goes to plan! thanks for watching and commenting!
im happy for you! and yeh plenty! haha done quite a lot of videos you can literally see my whole journey of riding ive vlogged every bit and shared things ive learned a long the way! A easy tip but one of the best tips I can give is read 'twist of the wrist 2' i know its the second book but the first one is more track focused, you will take so much more away from number 2! that book will make a huge difference in your riding And ride your own ride dont try keep up with no one take your time and practice keep me updated man! would like to know how you get on stay in touch on instagram if your active on there get me its the exact same as my youtube name
Hey! So I'm pretty much dead set on making the zx6r my first bike. I'm a bigger dude so this bike fits me well. How long did it take you to get used to its power and handling?
KewlJewlz yo thanks for checking in! Yeh I wouldn’t have chose any other bike your like it man, and the power takes a bit of getting used to... when you feel what it’s like in the powerband you will see how dangerous it really can be if you don’t respect the bike. Even now over a year later it surprises me how much power it has its more than enough for the street, but for my first 2 months I didn’t go over 7k revs, anywhere below that it’s kind of sluggish but there’s still some pull, I would just shift early more time I’d be around 4/5k revs. The handling on the bike is good it felt natural to just counter steer and lean it over a bit but never pushing it. The hardest thing was the slow manoeuvres cause there is no ROM in the steering, so I practiced that a lot in car parks and also dragging the rear brake on the slow manoeuvres like U turns helps a lot. I’m still active and uploading so check out some of the recent videos you like the sound of, you will see how I’m riding atm
Well done on getting your first big bike... i found it quite an intense watch 😳 I've had bikes since i was 16 and im 44 now and i still hate doing slow right turns so you had me nervous when you set off. Ride safe
Good work!!!! Well as you know it’s not ideal for a first bike, aggressive riding position, very intimidating, proabbky the hardest kind of bike to learn on BUT if it’s the bike you really want then you’ll end up getting it no matter what anyone tells you haha just take it easy if you do!👊 defiantly check out my latest videos as I have just bought a MT07, it’s such a fun bike and would be so much better for a first bike, comfortable, big ROM in steering, still plenty of power there and really easy to manoeuvre, a MT07 will defiantly help you build confidence and teach you a lot more but when I saw the ninja it was the one I wanted and no one was telling me otherwise and I’m glad I had that bike to start my motorbike journey as it thought me a lot through not teaching me a lot but a super ok the twisty roads where they belong is such a good feeling lol keep me updated man let me know how you get on👊👊 if you ever wana meet up for a video on the channel then hmu on Instagram
Hey, i know im too late but you get used to it now? And how many time you dump your bike? I wanna buy 600cc as my first too but i was too worry about stall my bike and hit my ball...
No worries mate im still active!! haha join the army man and yeh got used to it fast man just got a load of seat time the first week and I was used to it but still so much more to learn just take it slow and I dropped it once going round a roundabout at midnight in the wet in winter and your be good man long as your a fast learner and got good self control! let me know how you get on man new video up in 1 hour too check that out!
After almost a year since you posted this video how are you liking the bike now? Are u now familiar with the way it handles and the power? I'm on the fence about getting the 2019 zx6r.
where im at with riding now I feel ready to take on the next step like learning to get lower on corners etc do a couple track days and would like to do a track day that comes with lessons also Because it was a big bike to start on it took me the first year to get comfortable enough to be where I am at now to take the next step to answer your question I love the bike even more now because I've created a bond with it and had a lot of learning experiences on it, I love the look and feel of it and how I feel when im riding it if I could go back to this day I wouldn't pick any other bike... To answer your 2 questions the most simple way, I love the bike even more now and yes I feel very comfortable and confident now but still so much to learn and ready to do a f*ck load of learning this year... ready to find out what this bike can really do I saw a 19 zx6r in the shop the other day and holy t*ts they are soooo nice! haha Is it your first bike?? If so I would 100% reccmond starting on a older model thats 2/3k cheaper so your not scared to drop it... If someone offered me a 19 plate one right now I would say no because I would ride it and be scared to drop it. But if your balling through the roof and dropping it isn't a problem then go for it! If its not your first bike and you got experience and confident in your riding ability then I would say 100% go for it as well, I hear nothing but good things about zx6rs and I got nothing bad to say about mine and yours will have 11 years on mine haha Let me know what you decide to do in the end! Also, if your based in the UK then I will be hosting a 1000 subscriber ride out if you are interested... the goal is to get 100 bikes out! If your on instagram stay in touch @tarz4n_1 Thanks for watching and commenting man I appreciate it
@@gringostyl thanks for the reply. Yes it will be my first bike. I've looked at quite a few but my heart is set on the ZX-6R. There aren't many used 2019s available yet. I seen one or two in the shop with about a thousand miles on them. That's probably the way I will go. I'm a buy once cry once type of guy so I really don't want to invest in a smaller bike or something I don't want just to have to trade it in within a year or so. I've had my eye on this bike for a little while but always get different opinions about starting on a 600 class bike. I am actually located in North Carolina. Thanks again for your response it is greatly appreciated.
@@btjones1861 no problem man and yeh i get you f*ck it then grab that lol ood luck with it all you will love it!! Just take it easy dont rush ego to the side when you ride and keep it below 8k revs for first 4-8 weeks or until you feel ready and even then only experiment with the power band respect the bike aand your be all good!
Hopefully picking up an 09 ZX6R as a first bike tomorrow, it’s about a 35 min drive, I’m kinda nervous; but it’s been my dream bike since I was 4 so yolo
35 mins! You will be fine!!!!! This was 4 hours for me hahaha and staying overnight in the snow YOU GOT IT!!!👊🔥 just take it eassssssyy no rush at all take your time and let me know how it all goes!
@@gringostyl hey bro, letting you know; I GOT IT :))) I’m sooo happy with it and only taking it around town and in the church parking lot, waiting to take my motorcycle safety course on the 25th! I’ve been taking it really easy and careful around. Thank you!
@@wackysamurai1583 YOOOOOOOOOOO! WELL DONE! good to hear man thanks for letting me know this, keep practicing your be comfortable in no time any questions just ask!
@@gringostyl thanks so much man!! I will definitely keep practicing until I take my MSF, and how was up shifting and downshifting for you? I’m kind of sloppy, like I try to rev match, and the bike jolts forward just a little
@@wackysamurai1583 just takes time and feeling it will all come with seat time just keep learning and keep a beginner mindset keep learning heres a video i done on shifting a while back it might help and might be able to take some things away I think i go over rev mathcing aswell ruclips.net/video/0v9y5PZh3Fk/видео.html
Naaaa you’ve got good experience with riding and will learn fast but just don’t do anything stupid and stay out the power and for a month There’s a lot of naked sport bikes out there that will perform better than one of these on the streets and be a lot more fun where the power is so much more useable Maybe look at a mt09 2017+, KTM duke 790, or a supermoto lol your feel right at home on one of them, smcr690 or husky 701 is oil every 3k and valves every 6k it’s low maintenance for what it is and perfect for uk roads
Hahah when I look back at this it definikty wasn’t the smartest thing to do 💀 but it looks like it’s a pretty common thing lol winter, snow, rush hour, dark, recipe for a bad outcome Day I won’t forget 💯 thanks for watching 👊 thinking of getting a 636 for 2024 but riding it properly lol
thats my fav model i think if its the same as the 2014? thats the one i want next i cant wait! ohhhh my that was your first time on a bike! haha you nutter good work! welcome to the bike life and welcome to the family! channel name stands for 'The World is Yours'
thats why i would recommend a smaller CC bike like a 400. Its lighter and easier to drive, the speed and acceleration is enough for the first 2 years imo and you learn a lot on these bikes, you can also make more mistakes without instantly crashing ;) think its just more fun to ride if you dont shit your pants every time you go 1/2 throttle :D Ride safe!
yeh man agree with you on this but people guna do what they want no matter what theyre told, like me lol Ive only just started messing round with the powerband lol its a different world in them rev ranges its a madness haha thanks for watching man!
@@gringostyl yea ofc, everyone should get what he wants :) as i wrote, its just a recommendation and personal opinion :D i know people who startet on a S1000RR without any problems. But i wanted to say that even a 400CC bike is faster than most cars on the street but you can mess around more and give it full throttle without going 100mph after 3 seconds LOL
yeh i miss this bike! never forget this day but bigger things loading! thanks for watching and commenting on the latest video as well i apprictate it and yehhhhhhhhh them 750s are NAUGHTYYYY haha you got a real good summer ahead of you! let me know how you get on man and get me on instagram @tarzanmotovlogs & @fxckaverageofficial

Yeh I’m currently on a mt-07 and personally I’d take the mt-09 but it’s all personal preference and depends what your guna be using it for ESPECIALLY if it’s the 2017+ model woooo they’re too nice! Haha Keep in touch man tell me what you go for

You deserve a medal of honor for the courage to do that. But take all the care handling it so that you don’t earn a purple heart too. Congrats!
Haha thanks man wouldnt say its a bad bike to start on but wouldnt recommend anyone with no previous experience to pick it u from 4 hours away and ride it home alone hahah thanks man
@@gringostyl where u get the bike from?? Getting my full bike license soon and looking to get the same bike.......gd idea or not??
@@ThePottingmachine bad idea but can be done, check out some of my other vids, the mt07 i got after owning this bike was the best thing i could do, would highly reccomend and naked bike, duke 790, mt07, something with accessable power where you want it on the streets and comfortable riding position to inspire confidence, sport bikes are cool but there hard work in the long run, need to wind them up and cant touch the real power unless you go track,
i would only reccomedn super sport if its a dream bike, track bike, weekend fun or to look cool
(after riding 3 years i realised that the 'il grow into it' approach is not smart and will only slow down your learning, the more you get out of a bike means the more fun you will have
I remember when I took my baby home for the first time I was shaking when I got off, from excitement and fear. Best feeling ever!
Haha so cool knowing how many people can relate to this video, thanks for watching 👊👊 new upload today!
“If I die then I die” I literally felt this exact same way yesterday, picked up my 2021 MT07 from a dealer 2 hours away and rode it home in the pouring rain. My last bike had about half the torque and hp

WHAT A GREAT COMMENT! HAHA THANKS FOR LEAVING THIS!! WELCOME TO THE CHANNEL!
Thank you 👊 check the latest uploads I put up a new video today, welcome to the channel!
Haha 💀 bravery and stupidity fall close together lol but yeh this is a day I won’t forget ever I don’t think haha I still remember this day very clearly
Thanks for watching man and yeh same way I’m not a speed demon either I found that out after owning this bike, I ended up going to a mt07, then a 701, then a Crf450r sm then to another 07 haha
Right now I’m out in Brazil on a cg160 💀 currently looking at another MT07 🇧🇷 haha I love the 07s
That 350 will allow you to learn way more at a faster rate, and you will be able to use all of the bike,
This 600 I couldn’t even scratch the surface, it leaves it a frustrating ride cause you have to do 60+ for the bike to even wake up then you got to slow down cause police, traffic etc feel unsafe doing 70+ on street
The 07 and the 701 allow me to get way more out of the bike it’s so much more usable in a lot more situations which makes it so much more fun to ride
The MT07 is near half the price of the 07 and easier to live with which is why it’s one of my favourite bikes
I would love to get to a f850gs or something next year tho try out the adventure bikes
This is honestly my dream bike and I come back to your channel at least once a month to watch your zx6r videos 😂😂😂
Haha one day il get back on sport bikes and ride them properly

Haha yeh it snowed that night thanks for watching👊
Credit to you man, It takes a lot of courage to do what you did. Thanks for posting your first ride; only some people will post their first ride on a new bike. I am nervous because ill be picking up a new bike next month. Undecided if I want to go with a 600cc.
thank you, with what I know now I will always advise against starting on a 600 haha you literally miss out on so much learning / fun
Be better to start on something more practical, useable power like a parallel twin, comfy so can ride all day get triple the seat time and learn 3x faster, then you will find out what style of riding you like / want to push for and can take your next step from there...
Sport bikes are very good and fun, but the most fun you will get out of riding will be down to how much you can get out of the bike your ride
Let me know how you get on!
after watching this, I may start on a 400. Thank for video/honesty Bro

Seeing you struggle to get it up off of the kickstand did get me worried, I had that issue on my first motorcycle and kept having it the first few days at stop lights and generally anytime I had to balance but it didn't have 127 horses and a screamer inline 4
Hope you're still riding & having fun though!

Came with an amazing MIVV exhaust, custom fairings (matt black) and Full led blinkers + HID "angel eyes"
My GS got attention for being a cute café racer, this gets attention for being a monster and it being a Kawi it has monster energy decals .. everywhere lol
Got some fresh tires on it last week (Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3's) and even in the winter it sticks pretty well!
Need to have the brakes, discs & fluids fully replaced & serviced but on a private road in Botswana I did full-send it up to 15 500rpm and it's mad
Power starts at 8k and just builds, I was on coms with my brother and he can confirm I screamed like a baby all the way to redline!
His little Hyundai i20 couldn't keep up .. I wonder why x)
Seating position is aggressive but as I ride motorcycles for fun & not transport I can get away with some mildly crampy wrists after a long ride
Also looking at the bikes reflection while riding makes me drool, so it's all worth it :p

do itttttt!!!!! HAHA thanks for watching and commenting man let me know how you get on!!

@@dereksmith5551 yeh this bike is not for beginners and after years of experience i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone as it really limits your learning while also creating more oppertunity for something to go wrong, but cant it be done... yes haha but by far not the smartest choice
A tip for all bike beginners ~ Always assume every vehicle may pull out in front of you and you will be safer.
Good tip 👊
@@gringostyl thanks man. That’s from experience. I’ve seen too many cars pull out of side streets in front of bikes. That’s proof. I think all bikers should sound their horn when approaching vehicles stopped at adjoining side roads. To alert the driver of your presence. Less accidents would occur. Stay safe man!
@@Robert-cg4fp yeh theres only so much that can be done just ride defensive, il give a little rev or two if i reel like someone hasnt seen me when i ride street, better to be safe than sorry just couple blips and good to go dont need to rev bomb them hahaha

No because i enjoyed it and it also made me want to come away from supers to learn more
And yes because of where I’m at now and I wish I started with a grom stunt build hahaha but if I had to go back and choose at that stage of my life I would’ve started on a MT07 as I would’ve learned more and faster

Wat about getting a yamaha r7 to begin with?? Been advised to start with that. And I want a superbike for the weekend at some point. So I want a sexy bike to begin with yamaha r7 or r6?? Wat u think?
r7 would be pretty cool i recon, useable power, ive never riden one but they look smart, my personal choice would be mt07 cause it feels like a chunky dirt bike, and r7 is kind of i dont know how to explain but i feel like you would get on it and expect it to perform like a race bike but instead get street bike performance, riding is all personal preference so its hard to advise you on what id reccomend haha it depends what you want out of the bike - r7 will be expesive for what it is thats the only thing but if price dont matter then send it
I feel like if i wanted a super sport, i would buy one, not a naked bike in a super sport body but i really have no idea im just thinking out loud rn lol
Just got mine today... Shitting a brick lol so different

haha good work!!

Nice, be sure to get that exhaust checked out if you haven't already, that's a lot of smoke. Also, be careful with the speeding man. Allow yourself to get used to the bike a bit before going so fast. Ride safe bro!

TWisY for sure man. Just want to make sure we all enjoy ourselves but also stay safe. Take care!

Just came across your youtube channel. I'm thinking of getting Kawasaki ZX6R 2010 in black color. Do you think it's a nice bike?
thanks for watching! i like the 2013+ zx6rs the best! but its all personal preference
Gonna be me with my 6R. I will say tho it was pretty dumb going 115 on a wet road that's asking for it
Haha good luck!! It will be a day you don’t forget just take it easy and don’t go 115mph on a wet road 👊💀
I picked up a brand new ZX6R this morning and I’m so terrified to start riding! This thing is a beast!!!! Any tips?
im happy for you! and yeh plenty! haha done quite a lot of videos you can literally see my whole journey of riding ive vlogged every bit and shared things ive learned a long the way!
A easy tip but one of the best tips I can give is read 'twist of the wrist 2' i know its the second book but the first one is more track focused, you will take so much more away from number 2! that book will make a huge difference in your riding
And ride your own ride dont try keep up with no one take your time and practice
keep me updated man! would like to know how you get on stay in touch on instagram if your active on there get me its the exact same as my youtube name
@@gringostyl lol my comment didn't age well
@@KJcinemas hahaha!!
Well done on getting your first big bike... i found it quite an intense watch 😳 I've had bikes since i was 16 and im 44 now and i still hate doing slow right turns so you had me nervous when you set off. Ride safe

How long you u take motorcycle riding courses in ur country for licence? It s a nice start :D
Need to do full mod 1 and 2 takes 1 week on das course
Check latest uploads, come a long way since this lol
Passed my mod 2 today. Literally eyeing the same bike from the same place wondering if I should go for it as a first bike. How did you get on?
I'm on the fence about getting the 2019 zx6r.
where im at with riding now I feel ready to take on the next step like learning to get lower on corners etc do a couple track days and would like to do a track day that comes with lessons also
Because it was a big bike to start on it took me the first year to get comfortable enough to be where I am at now to take the next step
to answer your question I love the bike even more now because I've created a bond with it and had a lot of learning experiences on it, I love the look and feel of it and how I feel when im riding it if I could go back to this day I wouldn't pick any other bike...
To answer your 2 questions the most simple way, I love the bike even more now and yes I feel very comfortable and confident now but still so much to learn and ready to do a f*ck load of learning this year... ready to find out what this bike can really do
I saw a 19 zx6r in the shop the other day and holy t*ts they are soooo nice! haha
Is it your first bike?? If so I would 100% reccmond starting on a older model thats 2/3k cheaper so your not scared to drop it... If someone offered me a 19 plate one right now I would say no because I would ride it and be scared to drop it. But if your balling through the roof and dropping it isn't a problem then go for it!
If its not your first bike and you got experience and confident in your riding ability then I would say 100% go for it as well, I hear nothing but good things about zx6rs and I got nothing bad to say about mine and yours will have 11 years on mine haha
Let me know what you decide to do in the end!
Also, if your based in the UK then I will be hosting a 1000 subscriber ride out if you are interested... the goal is to get 100 bikes out! If your on instagram stay in touch @tarz4n_1
Thanks for watching and commenting man I appreciate it
@@gringostyl thanks for the reply. So stuck on my first road bike been riding a ktm 350 for 3 years now and want something sporty is this to much of a jump from a dirt bike
Naaaa you’ve got good experience with riding and will learn fast but just don’t do anything stupid and stay out the power and for a month
There’s a lot of naked sport bikes out there that will perform better than one of these on the streets and be a lot more fun where the power is so much more useable
Maybe look at a mt09 2017+, KTM duke 790, or a supermoto lol your feel right at home on one of them, smcr690 or husky 701 is oil every 3k and valves every 6k it’s low maintenance for what it is and perfect for uk roads
