I'm a complete noob in regards to flight sims and msfs2020 is my first experience of one ( purchased when it was released) i must say i totally agree with your comment about what a fantastic sim it is ..awesome!
From what ive seen of where "msfs" came from... its first rendition to now its just wow! 👍😮

I'm still amazed how beautiful this sim is! Or not the sim itself but you get my point 🙂 Being able to enjoy it on a fast PC in the Aero, I'm so grateful for what we have these days 👍

Will be super interesting to see what the 4090 can do for us vs the 3090! It's funny how my 8086K held me back and now with a 129000KS, it's my 3090 being the bottleneck. The endless hardware race 😂

I have my Kodiak 100 from Just Flight so I hope they will offer me the 10€ floats also the 12th when it's released. The standard Kodiak 100 will also get updated with improvements?

Cheers Andy, I'd recommend using the Open XR Toolkit to turn down the brightness settings (amongst many others)!

@@andyydna5330 Yes, just make sure you have PimaxXR running, it's a small exe file that switches runtimes.

Sorry for my question but i have a Strange trouble since the last update
I can’t use the power of the engine if i am on the ground
It’s work only if i start the fly in the air and immediatly after the Landing i can’t use the power of the engine command
It didn’t work too if i try to start the engine at the parking

I got MSFS as a gift(key) in the Microsoftstore, if i want to upgrade this sim i have to buy upgrades in the Microsoftstore too. Thats clear. But what happend when you buy MSFS in the Steamstore? Do have to buy upgrades in the Microsoftstore too? I dont see DLC's in the Steamstore to upgrade MSFS🤔
Yes, you also buy planes from the in-sim marketplace, with credits that you have to add to your Steam account (so you're indirectly paying through Steam)
You can also on any version of MSFS buy or download products from third party websites and install then to your community folder

Microsoft needs to step it up and make water landings more realistic instead of all the skipping on water or when you put your gear down in the water the plane bounces up.
Hello, i was wondering why this amphibian version is cheaper than the standard one? is the simulation at the same level as for standard Kodiak? or are there options not available with the amphibian version?
Good question. I'm not sure why it's so cheap, since they are both equal in their fidelity

The Amphibian version does not have the skydive interior. Otherwise it seems to be equal in features. No cargod pod mention also for the amphibian.

@@didierj3836, you may not need an answer at this point. But with the other Kodiak package, you get 4 models. Regular and Cargo Pod versions, and regular or tundra gear for both. They all required different flight models and it just took longer to make them all.
The Floatiak is just one model. A great one. But it took fewer man hours to build, and also, they didn’t want to overcharge for folks who already had the other planes, because all five models together is quite a wonderful, all around package that can fly virtually anywhere in the world.

Too bad that many lakes in Canada are just fields of grass or small forests, because the AI did't recognize them properly and no one bothered to fix them manually for the World Update. Not to mention all those rivers that are towering aqueducts in the sim, as seen in this video at 6:32.
Anyone else having troubles with this plane taking off from land? If I start up from cold, I can't get it to move. And when I land at an airport, and go to take off again, it won't move. Gear down, throttles/prop set properly. Just spools up and doesn't move.
Beautiful area but I believe you’re actually landing on an inlet off the ocean and not a lake.

Nice! I just don't like the fact that the float varient is not as a free update with the kodiak 100 and you have to buy the other varient separately.
Alex has put a TON of work into this aircraft, he is already giving it away at that price.
There must be a serious problem. In BETA for far longer than most MSFS releases, and now it has missed it's Oct. 12 release date.🤷🏽♂️
