Magaki from KOF 11 is the epitome of SNK boss syndrome. When you fight him, Magaki spams the screen with projectiles making it like a bullet hell situation. Magaki also has that full screen Leader Desperation move which does huge damage. And Magaki has 3 times more health than the player. From what I heard, SNK created Magaki to piss off the fans.
@@gengarusedaids5637 oh I did platinum tekken 6 but she was one of the cheesiest fights side step side step hit side step side step she was impossible to take head on lol
i was going to say exactly that. The only chance you have of winning against mk2's Shoa Kahn is if you're lucky enough that he does his taunt move too often and he doesnt use his dirt cheap charge move over and over to chip away your hp while you block. He's also too tall to jump over safely.
Donderkonijn1978 MKII Shao Khan is the great great grand daddy of cheap ass final boss fights. For the main reason you mentioned: Shadow shoulder charge. Couldn't save games back then but I still turn the game off & go outside if I lost too many times. Sometimes I would resort to using the cheapest character in the game,Mileena & her teleport kick.
He's not a boss... but Moloch on MK:DA made it impossible for me to ever beat the game on the hardest difficulty. He's a sub-boss before you can fight Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, but if you can beat him it's always easy to beat those two.
6 лет назад+1
an easy way to beat MK2 Shao Khan is to play as Shang Tsung and spam his double-fireball attack.
Shao Khan was always pure cheese in every iteration. There were a couple characters who you could fairly reliably beat him with, and once you know his pattern you can become just as cheap with any character, but yeah... he's never been one you can fight normally. He essentially requires you to be repetitive and exploitative.
Yes... Night Terror is beatable.... with the weakest character... But so are all the bosses on this list. Night Terror is a faster, stronger nightmare with better reach and the ability to fly when up giving you the finger when you try to ring him out. But.... Soul Calibur 3 has a lot of anti AI sequences where you can spam the same nonsense over and over. However if you play that shit on the hardest difficulty and don't abuse anti AI he's pretty difficult.
I laughed out loud when SFA3 Bison appeared. I actually broke my original copy of the game after hammer fisting my PS1 and throwing the disc against the wall after losing to Bison for an hour or so back in '99. Ah, good times.
the PS-1 version is a walk in the park compared to the final boss in world tour mode in street fighter alpha 3 max on psp. you are fighting back to back: Akuma and Evil Ryu in an R. Dramatic battle (2 on 1) Shin Akuma and M. Bison in a survival match (the first guy you knock out comes back once so it's 3 on 1) and lastly: R. Dramatic battle against two Boss M-Bisosns with infinite super guage. you basically have to pick the right path from the beginning so you end up geting super guard and infinite guard because that last fight is impossible without both of those.
To beat Jinpachi you have to dodge his fireballs he shoots from his belly. To do this you have to press UP or DOWN button twice so you can strafe and doge. But then you have to quickly press the opposite direction button twice as Jinpachi shoots a second fireball when he misses the first. Pretty easy to beat him once you get the hang of it. Easy.
I remember hating Azazel from tekken 6 *quite* a bit. Let's see here: huge health pool? Check. Huge attack range? Check. Fast unblockable lasers with 2-3 different versions to make predicting and dodging nearly impossible? Check. Yep, all the makings of a cheap fighting game boss.
alpha 3 's bison is not super hard, because it is ai, you can bait the super out, and after that play aggressive. it was not as much as kof 1999 with super K's wind kick that can almost block anything plus a short cooldown for recovery. but doa4, yeah, that one is just not fair.
well, SF '87 is just attempting to do a hadouken while your opponent does combos as effortly as butter on toast so... but really, Sagat's Tiger Shot took out 99.9% of your health bar anyways.
Jumping and holding back all day takes care of his waves. All it is is getting past that, and his Tiger Uppercut. Tiger Knee is easier to see coming. Same goes for Uppercut because the animation of Sagat goes down and then upward into the attack, there's that short delay that you can block it with. Sagat was more trouble than M. Bison ever was, and even he has his annoying moves - like his foot stomp. Easy enough to prevent that by setting up a kick after holding back to block and jumping forward or backwards. Just gonna say, M. Bison on Alpha 3 on 8 is just ridiculous.
At least they can't break the 3rd wall Oh wait...... Why couldn't they break the 4th instead, that's, you know, actually, fun. Like a game's supposed to be.
Tekken 6 gave us an RPG Element to the Game Series, but the controls were a mess, throwing controller at the screen kinda a mess, if that's not breaking the next gen walls, then I dunno what is, ^_-
No Azazel from Tekken 6? He's like Jinpachi Mishima and M. Bison rolled into one! With all the instant stuns, the unblockable combos, the single hits that takes half your healthbar.. and oh yeah, if you beat him once in a best of three match, he grows even bigger, taking up almost half the screen!
No if you really want to rage fight devil kazuya on 10 stars, I thought shin was worse until you learn his pattern fairly easy but kazuya on ten stars seems impossible or lucky
I've mentioned these before, under the cheaty bosses video, but they kind of apply here too. Schuvaltz Katze from Bushido Blade(PS1) who, in a game about honorable swordfights, does his best Indiana Jones impression by just shooting you. Also Crow, the final boss of Def Jam Fight for New York(played by Snoop Dog) who brings a sword cane to a fist fight and stabs you in the back with it in a cutscene, taking away half of your health before the fight even starts.
You guys got jinpachi completely wrong. He wasn't initially evil, he was consumed by a spirit of revenge after heihachi buried him alive underneath the Mishima dojo as confirmed by his friendship with Wang and Kazuya's childhood memories.
12-Mojo lol how did it become about his feelings, he merely stated that in the lore of Tekken Jinpachi wasn't evil. Infact Wang even states that Jinpachi is the most honorable man he knows
Shinock from Mortal Kombat X as his final stage just uses the same stupid fire move over and over and over again Yes I am also doing the same move over and over again but that's different cause I'm the protagonist
Admittedly, I never played the Alpha boss fight, but I noticed that their demo footage didn't seem to have the player blocking constantly. I think a lot of the fighting game bosses are balanced to do enough damage to be a serious threat even if you block all their attacks. So if you miss blocks... sucks to be you.
Let's see... Night Terror from Soul Calibur 3. He's like Nightmare, but bigger, faster, stronger, with more reach, laser attacks, and an inability to be ringed out. Ohga from Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer. A bit of a less known fighting game but this is probably the hardest, cheapest fighting game boss I've ever encountered. In an old-style NeoGeo fighter where you tend to have very slow, calculated movements, this guy can just teleport all over the stage on a whim and wreck you at any angle. Even at the lowest difficulty this guy took me enough continues that it would've cost me a small fortune at an actual arcade. Dust of Osiris from Melty Blood. Huge? Check. Can't be staggered or comboed? Check. Screen-filling super with massive damage? Check. Lots of unblockable setups? Check.
Parace L'sia, from the Arcana Heart series, is much cheaper than any of those, at least those are somewhat defeatable. Parace L'sia barely lets you move, recovers energy and health and if you keep losing to her, the game will actually start lowering her initial health out of pity.
9:52 YES!! OMG... Probably fought him legit 50 times before I beat him. You essentially have to turtle until he taunts you, teleport then try to get a few licks in before he hits back.
What, no mention of Guilty Gear XX's introduction of I-no? She had a super move exclusive to her story mode boss fight that players could never use because it was so ridiculously overpowered. It filled the screen with a swarm of music notes that changed the game you were playing from a fighting game to a bullet hell, and if you try to hold block through it you will die to chip damage 100% of the time.
I remember her being horrible, though I have to wonder if she would seem as bad to me now after having played fighting games for so long since. Also nice avatar :D.
Jinpachi used to Literally give me NIGHTMARES of that stun + fireball combo.I wasnt that good of a player back then, and my side steps where whack,BUT my boy Yoshimitsu was there for me to help defeat this bastard
just think of us ps2 completionists that had to beat Jinpachi with EVERY CARACHTER well at the last 2, Devil Jin and Tina i set the rounds to 1 win to end the fight...wish i did that from the start
I notice a startling lack of Parace L'Sia from Arcana Heart 3. Her super moves deal stupid amounts of damage, she can combo you faster than you can blink, and she constantly regains health. The only good thing is that the game actually helps you beat her; each time you lose and try again, she starts off with less health than before. Not really gonna help too much in the long run, though.
So what you're saying is that to defeat the boss, you challenge her, put your controller down, walkk away, come back after you've died 50,000 times and defeat her in one punch?
Do people not understand what a fighting game is? Because I swear half the suggestions from the comments aren't from fighting games. Also master hand on 9.0 difficulty in Smash 4
All that flying crap Kazumi does is not much fun either especially when you've got her health low and then she does something stupid that you can't deal with quickly enough 😢
I totally miss Killer Instinct! I don't miss that boss! I remember fighting him and dying so much! It came down to the boss just letting you win in the end. K.I. Gold was one of my favorites!
Look up Parace L'sia from Arcada Heart 3, that THING REDEFINES CHEAP! She has A.I. that at times seems borderline supernatural in terms of response time( she can basically predict your controller inputs); Regens her health constantly throughout the fight( it's a passive ability that can't be stopped); Constantly teleports around the stage making it very difficult to actually hit her; has access to numerous moves that can poison you, slow you down, or even REVERSE YOUR CONTROLS; can spam projectiles like no tomorrow; spams her enhanced moves and often combines this with a ridiculous ability to string together combos; and has 2 SUPERS while all other characters have one and can use BOTH during the fight(the first creates a shield around her that you have to break because it can DOUBLE or even TRIPLE the rate of her health regen and the second can wipe out half your health as well as being ridiculously difficult to dodge). She is so bad that the game itself literally has to HELP you beat her. By using the games checkpoint system you can restart the fight and Parace will start with less than full health and will start with less health with each subsequent loss, HOWEVER, she can still regen to full health and the game only starts doing this after you lose to her THREE TIMES. To quote the Quarter Guy and his friend WiiDude, you will win basically once the game decides you've had enough punishment. Go check out part 2 of Quarter Guy and WiiDude 's cheapest fighting game bosses countdown if you dont believe me. I can just imagine Parace wiping the floor with just about anybody on this list. Sorry for that, great video as usual.
Is it just me or those the exact words from Quarter Guy countdown?

"reverse your controls"...oh, that brings back memories: one of the few fighting games at the arcades i really enjoyed was "marvel super-heroes". the final boss is Thanos. one of his super-moves uses the "space gem" to reverse your controls... he can also use the "Reality gem" to conjure up giant stone walls that will crush you (and they are too high to avoid, the best you can do is block for reduced damage), use the "power gem" to throw a huge fireball that can hit you multiple times, and i think he can use the "life gem" to steal your health (hurts you AND heals him)! i actually defeated him several times using Iron Man and Magneto.
Orochi from KoF 97 was an absolute monster to beat and I was sure he'd make it onto this video. Even on lower difficulty he gave you a hard time with his projectiles and body blow attack (The circular arc kick). Top that off with his supers, the one that takes up the whole screen AND the unblockable throw that sucks you towards him before he takes off 1/2 or all your health depending on whether it was a normal or EX super. And never mind him on higher difficulty, might as well just watch him destroy you without touching the controller.
The funny thing about the Kasumi clone DoA's Ai actually did a little trick that let it see your button inputs before you character attacked and it reacted based on the character you are using as well as the inputs you put in with said character a fun trick to beat the Cheating Ai is to use Long Drawn out attacks then while doing the start up animation for the attacks put in another attack of a different area Ie the Long drawn out attack hits low while the input you do while attacking is for a medium kick the game will take the newest Input as what it has to deal with and be tricked into being hit by the long drawn out attack a good example of this is Zacks Yoshi flutter Punch as the start up frames for the attack were very long Another interesting thing about the fight itself is most of Kasumi clone's attacks are actually scaled to be similar to a regular characters attacks however the stage itself adds damage when you get slammed on the ground or walls which her attacks all take full advantage of
Thank god Shao Khan was No. 1, I broke five controllers to beat him. You could have added Isaac Frost from Fight Night Champion to the list aswell (If you count that as a fighting game). Its a realistic boxing game but that guy is literally superhuman, his punches can knock you out straight away, he has basically unlimited stamina, and you literally cannot knock him out for the first five or so rounds until you hit him to the body about 500 times.
What about Marie from skullgirls? All of her moves are special so even blocking doesn't sto all of the damage,it almost impossible to interrupt her moves and if her cheap arsenal doesn't kill you,her constantly yelling "die" will probably annoy you enough to quit the game
No Marie from Skullgirls? As great as that game is, Bloody Marie is one of the cheapest bosses ever, she floats and I'd immune to grabs, constantly summons multi minions with really fast auto targeting attacks and can't be stunned. And just when you think it can't get worse, there's a challenge mode where you fight her at triple health with the lowest mobility character in the game
Lol Thanks so much, man I remember going through countless weekly allowances and my first little pay checks, trying to beat those guys. Indeed Cheaper than a 1/2 sale on penny candy! Love it, keep doing these :)
fishpop yeah... that dude is an ass. Doesn't get better when you've unlocked him as a playable character either... my little sister discovered that he can shoot those huge fire balls while laying down Dx was only able to beat her when using devil Jin so that i could fly out of range and laser her to death. It rarely worked though...
Cheap doesn't mean they are super strong bosses. It means they have specific moves they can use over and over again that are capable of defeating you easily and it's hard to stop or get around it.
Marie from Skullgirls was designed specifically so that the genre's most dedicated grappler player can make us suffer as he has suffered. You're basically playing Touhou trying to get in on her.
I think Azazel and Alisa from Tekken 6 and Tengu from Dead or Alive 4 would've been perfect fits for this list. It took me at least a solid month each to beat them.
Rugal is on this list, as is Kars, this list is legit. Ivan Ooze may have the cheapest move set ever, look it up, lol. Ultimate Rugal from Capcom vs SNK 2 is also horrible, and while we're on the subject I have always hated fighting The Eternal Champion from Eternal Champions. Not only are his various move sets all cheap, you have to beat him 8 times in a row and if you lose twice it's an automatic game over. Also you taught the people about "SNK boss syndrome", so many props.
Rugal is far from the cheapest KoF boss, Igniz and Magaki take those honors with pride. Rugal in KoF 02 UM is also especially mean, since you can't continue against him, and he's a hard to reach special final boss. Other tough SNK bosses: Mizuki Sam Sho 2 Demon Gaoh Sam Sho 6 AoF 2 Geese Howard KoF Neowave Amakusa Sam Sho 1
Eh I don't know if I should trust you, Amakusa is pretty simple. But I agree that Rugal from KoF 94 is the easiest KoF boss, whoever presented this missed the last 25 years or something. Even his later incarnations have more punch, my personal nightmare is Zero from 2000.
I think Jinpachi could be functionally invincible by spamming his stun-palm move, but thankfully he doesn't. I don't think he's actually that bad, so far as fighting game bosses go, as his AI sucks, and you can usually understand what's going on. The worst fighting game bosses are the ones where you can't understand the logic of anything that happens. Alpha 3's boss Bison can be a swine, but he's much easier if you avoid jumping while his meter's full. I kinda suspect SNK bosses could fill this list alone, but that'd be boring. An honorable mention should go to boss mode I-no in Guilty Gear X2, for her quick reflexes, high damage, and dirty combination of regenerating health and a lengthy-super which she's invincible during.
If you thought the fighting games bosses were cheap, then you've not faced the living reincarnation of true despair that make even the most skilled player shudder. Parace L'sia from Arcane Heart 3 is the personification and embodiment of pure terror.
Theres a 3D fighting game called BioMutants that has one of the hardest final boss fights in gaming history. There's a video of a guy trying to beat him on the hardest difficulty for over TWO HOURS AND ABOUT 200+ ATTEMPTS. Not surprisingly, barely anybody has heard of it and it's generally considered to be awful.
Rolan Alcantara you watch maximillian dood too?! if there's one thing we both agree on, that is he should make a boss rage on marie from skullgirls. that'll be awesome to see.
I like the Shao Kahn one because "You have become the very thing you swore to destroy" to defeat the cheap fighting game boss, you had to become the cheap fighting game boss
Hey, great list but where is Hazama from Blazblue: Continuum Shift arcade mode?? He is a long range attack character surrounded by an impossible to turn off orb that drains your health if you get close- along with the biggest jump in difficulty from all the previous fights that I can remember. Now that's an SNK style boss
Leviathanogdra then after you defeat him get a fight mu 12 super happy fun times yes and how can I forget about Unlimited Nu 13 back in the original BlazBlue and on the PSP.
Any Shin Akuma will do. He was a ass and have to to special requirements to get to in SSF2 Turbo. You had to get to Akuma's island in Alpha 3 in World tour mode to fight Shin. After you got thru Akuma and Evil Ryu on a dramatic battle.. A Akuma and Bison in Survival. And lastly Shin Akuma and a Psycho Bison in Dramatic with unlimited gauge. Then there's Shin in CVS2. Dude would literally walk up and grab you like it was nothing. Along with his new super the Misogi.
The fact that I remembered the teleport uppercut to beat Shao Khan and I only played the game back when it came out truly shows how much of a pain he was lol
So to beat Shao Kahn you became Alpha-152.
Which proves that: You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

i was going to say exactly that.
Hell, The final boss in MkX is harder to me. Compared to MK 2011 I mean, MK 2 still takes the cake for sure.
He's not a boss... but Moloch on MK:DA made it impossible for me to ever beat the game on the hardest difficulty. He's a sub-boss before you can fight Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, but if you can beat him it's always easy to beat those two.
an easy way to beat MK2 Shao Khan is to play as Shang Tsung and spam his double-fireball attack.
Shao Khan was always pure cheese in every iteration. There were a couple characters who you could fairly reliably beat him with, and once you know his pattern you can become just as cheap with any character, but yeah... he's never been one you can fight normally. He essentially requires you to be repetitive and exploitative.
Mk9 on the ps3 you can use Kratos, and his golden fleece to reflect all the projectiles back.
Soul Calibur 3's Night Terror, who thought giving Nightmare the ability to fly and be untouchable with lasers to be a good idea?
jacktconnor really? I beat him with Talim, who is possibly Soul Calibur 3's weakest character
Nick Jones spam the throws
Spamming throws doesn't work against Night Terror on the hardest difficulty.
Lmfao
I laughed out loud when SFA3 Bison appeared. I actually broke my original copy of the game after hammer fisting my PS1 and throwing the disc against the wall after losing to Bison for an hour or so back in '99. Ah, good times.
@Joshua Perez
if you used akuma, he's super easy once bison uses his super!
Gill is another story! an even worse example of boss syndrome in history!
the PS-1 version is a walk in the park compared to the final boss in world tour mode in street fighter alpha 3 max on psp.
you are fighting back to back:
Akuma and Evil Ryu in an R. Dramatic battle (2 on 1)
Shin Akuma and M. Bison in a survival match (the first guy you knock out comes back once so it's 3 on 1)
and lastly:
R. Dramatic battle against two Boss M-Bisosns with infinite super guage.
you basically have to pick the right path from the beginning so you end up geting super guard and infinite guard because that last fight is impossible without both of those.
He was a real nightmare indeed. Used to swear atrociously for hours when he would roast me bad with the Super Psycho Crusher
Seth would like a word with you.
Windhelm Guard yup... Shin Bison is WAY worse.
It took me over 20 tries to beat Jinpachi & then i ended unlocking Devil Jin after not continuing the fight lol
I remember trying to unlock Devil Jin, but no matter what i tried i just could not.
Easy.
That was the Time Release unlock I think. Dr. B in Tekken 3 can be unlocked that way. As well as some hidden characters in SF Alpha 3
I beat him about 5 times it’s not in easy
I remember hating Azazel from tekken 6 *quite* a bit. Let's see here: huge health pool? Check. Huge attack range? Check. Fast unblockable lasers with 2-3 different versions to make predicting and dodging nearly impossible? Check.
Yep, all the makings of a cheap fighting game boss.
Chrona Trigger Azazel was never in Tekken 4
Stofferex Shhh, I just hit the wrong even number. Sh.
DONT FORGET HE CAN ATTACK WHILE BLOCKING!! WTF
Not to mention, random super armor
With long range kickers like Hwoarang and Lee, I honestly found him easier than Jinpachi due to having a larger hit box
Gill looks like what would happen if Dr Manhattan decided to cosplay as two-face while also using Thor’s hair
Lmfao, "punch him in the back... like a hero" 😂
"My son was lost in a car..." Christ how big was the car? "...crash." right sorry, should have let you finish.
This video brought back so many painful memories. I had erased that Dead or Alive 4 boss from my mind.
Story Mode Shao Khan is a pain. But he pales in comparison to End of Tower Shao Khan
My reason for quitting mk9
For me, while he was bad what annoyed me more was waiting for that damn slave girl to crawl up to his fucking legs so I could restart the match.
I beat him in Tower so far with 2 characters - Noob Smoke.
Beating him is as easy as waiting him to taunt and spaming 2
Thank you for understanding my pain with Alpha in DOA4.
alpha 3 's bison is not super hard, because it is ai, you can bait the super out, and after that play aggressive. it was not as much as kof 1999 with super K's wind kick that can almost block anything plus a short cooldown for recovery. but doa4, yeah, that one is just not fair.
SF ‘87 Sagat. Good luck with that.
Exactly.
well, SF '87 is just attempting to do a hadouken while your opponent does combos as effortly as butter on toast so...
but really, Sagat's Tiger Shot took out 99.9% of your health bar anyways.
Igniz in KoF '01
TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GER TIE-GERRRR UPPERCUT
Alpha 3 Bison was the closest I ever got to breaking a controller. I fought him for nearly an hour straight before scoring the victory.
*Every SNK boss* ✅😎
Yes and yes
@Eromonsele Ukpedinjagba genocide cutter genocide cutter
Except for Orochi, Orochi Yashiro and Orochi Iori/Leona were harder
*Do the best you can!*
At least they can't break the 3rd wall
Oh wait......
Why couldn't they break the 4th instead, that's, you know, actually, fun. Like a game's supposed to be.
There's always Deadpool in Marvel vs Capcom!
they made you break the fourth wall when you chuck the controller at your screen.
Tekken 6 gave us an RPG Element to the Game Series, but the controls were a mess, throwing controller at the screen kinda a mess,
if that's not breaking the next gen walls, then I dunno what is, ^_-
I'd say, all the fighting games brought by SNK are OP and broken till immortality
Jinpachi is a cake walk compared to Azazel least I could sidestep Jinpachi!
its also worth noting that you can beat Azazel in the cheapest way possible of all tekken. By simply spamming a screw combo XD.
PearlHimself he is so easy to beat when you use the air combos
Shao Khan on MK3 is way harder than the MK9 version
That's the truth! I think shao Kahn in mk2 was just as hard if not harder.
Yea he he’s a douche with those shoulder bashes
Facts!!! When I saw the title he was the first one I thought of
Amen. He was tough to beat
Gill is just as tough if not tougher. He is made where you can't beat him with 100 percent health
You guys got jinpachi completely wrong. He wasn't initially evil, he was consumed by a spirit of revenge after heihachi buried him alive underneath the Mishima dojo as confirmed by his friendship with Wang and Kazuya's childhood memories.
12-Mojo fix ur grammar buddy 😀
12-Mojo lol how did it become about his feelings, he merely stated that in the lore of Tekken Jinpachi wasn't evil.
Infact Wang even states that Jinpachi is the most honorable man he knows
12-Mojo in English?!
Wait fighting games have plots?
Was that what was in all those cutscenes I skipped?
Thank god I skipped them.
THANK YOU! I was afraid only I knew of this :P good to see someone else that pay attention to plot details :D
Shinock from Mortal Kombat X as his final stage just uses the same stupid fire move over and over and over again
Yes I am also doing the same move over and over again but that's different cause I'm the protagonist
Dino Dive I know right
Alliance X that chest beam is what I'm on about its sooooooo annoying
I fell the same
Hahahaha thats just the rules hahaha love it
Just finished MKX earlier today and 1) Fuck Ermac 2) Corrupted Shinnok is absolute bullshit!
Gill Bison and Jinpachi! I grew up fighting those dudes and this list couldn’t be more right
When I’m playing Mortal Kombat (2011), all I can think about are the words of the great James Tiberius Kirk: “KKAAHHNN!”
Or the words of Joker in MKvDCU. Yes, I actually like that game.
Wasn't that Spock though? At least in the newer movie with Kahn in it.
He was pretty cheesable with Kratos
Oh look, it's Alpha-152, who made my life a living hell.
RIP controller.
Ruined the game for me, especially as they put her in time attack mode.
Really? She was easy for me
I'm not much of a fighting gamer in the first place. :P
Angel Beat Agreed
Oh Jinpachi...made me rage so hard, I thought I was gonna turn super saiyan.
NinjaChipmunk this comment Is underrated
You mean turn into a god by yelling lol it's stoopid...
Try playing as him in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
you forgot to mention that eyedol also recovers health while you are down, also how can anyone forget kintaro in mortal kombat 2
Kintaro is the easiest out of goro,Sheva and montaro
Motaro was a nightmare.
Who
Let's see...
Check.
Night Terror at least has some kind of strategy... Dust of Osiris is plain cheap and I hate her a lot.
You forgot to mention that Eyedol gains his energy back after comboing you lol
Eyedol is way less cheap in the Xbox remake
You list Jinpachi so obviously you haven't heard of azazel
*block* x10
Nah i had more difficulty with jinpachi, alisa could beat azazel easy if you know most of her combos
Jun Kazama in Tag 02.
1 Hit and good bye for 1 team mate
Jinpachi is much harder
You could literally 1 him to death on any difficulty.
Parace L'sia, from the Arcana Heart series, is much cheaper than any of those, at least those are somewhat defeatable. Parace L'sia barely lets you move, recovers energy and health and if you keep losing to her, the game will actually start lowering her initial health out of pity.
She’s the one with AI so OP it’s like she knows what moves you’re going to make before you make them right?
Incitos 98 right. Also, the game only starts lowering Parace's health after you lose to her 3 times.
Hunter Longbrake I don’t play that many fighters and I’ve even heard of that Unholy b***ch.
The bane of Quarter Guy's existence...
It's not just Quarter Guy.
9:52 YES!!
At least she telegraphed the shot pattern and you could dodge it with precise enough reactions... unless you were playing Potemkin, rip.
What about Justice?
Never finished arcade mode of GGXX because of her.
Brainiac in injustice 2. Them unblockable tentacles were too much
Don't expect a fair fight in a game called Injustice
looooool
Jinpachi used to Literally give me NIGHTMARES of that stun + fireball combo.I wasnt that good of a player back then, and my side steps where whack,BUT my boy Yoshimitsu was there for me to help defeat this bastard
just think of us ps2 completionists that had to beat Jinpachi with EVERY CARACHTER
well at the last 2, Devil Jin and Tina i set the rounds to 1 win to end the fight...wish i did that from the start
When u used that character u weren't good with and didn't know how to use against Jinpachi....that wasn't it chief
Tina? You used characters from DOA too?
@@alessiominervini1175 lmao Tekken X DOA confirmed! 😂
@Shorty It would be pretty epic but as its been proved before, fans come up with even better ideas than the original content creators.
I always use 1 win rule :P
"Eyedore was created to take your quarters from you." That doesn't sound like a very cheap boss to me at all.
I see what you did there....
"Rugal is a cheap boss"
Goenitz: "hold my bible"
lol Rugal 2002 is harder than goenitz
Am i the only one who thinks igniz had the cheapest moves.
@@omerali2690 Krizalid: Am I a joke to you?
Dont forget orochi KOF 97
GoenitZ is not harder than regular rugal once you realize his A.i. moves based on how you move
Not really gonna help too much in the long run, though.
i even heard of that one, and i don't play fighting games that much.
G.G gaming Same.
AuraSilverHero I live for the day that Maximilian Dood does a Boss Rage to that.
to make things worse let it be the newer version of the game where Parace is free from the lower HP each match rule
Insert joke about how Super Smash Brothers isn't a fighting game, either.
Was just about to say that.
Props Tim.
Master Hand is a joke. Getting to him without losing a stock is what's really difficult.
The General from Kaiser Knuckle.
Magaki, oh dear Lord, Magaki. This POS made trying to beat KOF XI almost impossible. This freaking guy could make a monk rage quit. No joke.
His M.U.G.E.N Edit is Way worse as he just literally Turns the entire game into a Touhou on lunatic difficulty.
“Shin Akuma Tekken 7”
Mee .PowoH On the highest difficulty
Mee .PowoH I was wondering when someone would say that evil bastard's name.
still have ptsd from beating him on highest difficulty
I've beaten every cheap boss. That guy! Unbeatable!
I want to see a Boss Rage of that. Someone get Max Dood on the phone!
I don't remember any of that stuff, and I've beaten Arcade Mode with all of the characters. Maybe the boss got toned down for Love Max or something...
Parace and the general with igniz .three boss wich redefine cheap
azazel from tekken 6 is a pain in the arse! !!!!!!!!
Vagelis Stefanou well not really but ok
Yeah not rlly. But I always found that robot very irritating
It's easy bro, jin is harder than him xd
Vagelis Stefanou well azazel is easy to juggle
tbh Nancy is more irritating than Azaze
Orochi from KoF 97 was an absolute monster to beat and I was sure he'd make it onto this video. Even on lower difficulty he gave you a hard time with his projectiles and body blow attack (The circular arc kick). Top that off with his supers, the one that takes up the whole screen AND the unblockable throw that sucks you towards him before he takes off 1/2 or all your health depending on whether it was a normal or EX super. And never mind him on higher difficulty, might as well just watch him destroy you without touching the controller.
The problem? He's surprisingly passive. I'd say 2002 UM Rugal would be more worthy or heck even 2001 Igniz.
How about Geese Howard? The original SNK boss syndrome boss. His counter moves can make it nearly impossible to hit him.
Especially in Fatal Fury Wild Ambition. He was damn near unbeatable
The funny thing about the Kasumi clone
DoA's Ai actually did a little trick that let it see your button inputs before you character attacked and it reacted based on the character you are using as well as the inputs you put in with said character a fun trick to beat the Cheating Ai is to use Long Drawn out attacks then while doing the start up animation for the attacks put in another attack of a different area
Ie the Long drawn out attack hits low while the input you do while attacking is for a medium kick
the game will take the newest Input as what it has to deal with and be tricked into being hit by the long drawn out attack a good example of this is Zacks Yoshi flutter Punch as the start up frames for the attack were very long
Another interesting thing about the fight itself is most of Kasumi clone's attacks are actually scaled to be similar to a regular characters attacks however the stage itself adds damage when you get slammed on the ground or walls which her attacks all take full advantage of
Nothing beats the feeling of pulling off a successful Ultra Combo on Eyedol the second he refills some of his own health. TJ Combo for the KO!
Just pay attention to her audio cues, than she is easy.
ExplosiveCat OfDoom even on easy she’s stupid powerful, but damn do you feel good when you finally win
I adore this channel! Cannot get enough of it 😊
Or for those of us who are woeful at fighting games, every opponent in a fighting game ever
Brandon Welsh i played that mode once and then said"hell no" and swapped back to story mode
Definitely a top 10 worthy boss but still no General hehe
Lol Thanks so much, man I remember going through countless weekly allowances and my first little pay checks, trying to beat those guys. Indeed Cheaper than a 1/2 sale on penny candy! Love it, keep doing these :)
I have a hole in my living room wall due to my younger brother fighting Jinpachi.
Shao Kahn also gave us trouble when we did arcade with Sector/Cyrax.
Did yall put your weeb weeb in there?
fishpop yeah... that dude is an ass. Doesn't get better when you've unlocked him as a playable character either... my little sister discovered that he can shoot those huge fire balls while laying down Dx
was only able to beat her when using devil Jin so that i could fly out of range and laser her to death. It rarely worked though...
Jinpachi was easy
Lmao theres a hole in the wall of the apartment i grew up in, looseleaf paper, white out, and tape helped me cover it up.
*sees notification and title*
Me: if a Tekken boss isn't on there I'll be pissed.
*sees thumbnail, is satisfied*
Cheap doesn't mean they are super strong bosses. It means they have specific moves they can use over and over again that are capable of defeating you easily and it's hard to stop or get around it.
Facts.
Looks like outsidexbox needs to play more Fatal Fury/KOF games if they only included one on this list.
Agreed
Yes the lovable igniz
Marie from Skullgirls was designed specifically so that the genre's most dedicated grappler player can make us suffer as he has suffered. You're basically playing Touhou trying to get in on her.
I think Azazel and Alisa from Tekken 6 and Tengu from Dead or Alive 4 would've been perfect fits for this list. It took me at least a solid month each to beat them.
Hey sexy
Rugal is on this list, as is Kars, this list is legit. Ivan Ooze may have the cheapest move set ever, look it up, lol. Ultimate Rugal from Capcom vs SNK 2 is also horrible, and while we're on the subject I have always hated fighting The Eternal Champion from Eternal Champions. Not only are his various move sets all cheap, you have to beat him 8 times in a row and if you lose twice it's an automatic game over. Also you taught the people about "SNK boss syndrome", so many props.
GhengisJohn lol... eternal champion, dark champion, end of deathbringer, parace l'sia, igniz and above all else GENERAL > ooze
eternal champion was gill on streoids
odracir comix eternal and dark Champion violently shit on Gill lol. Gill is a baby compared to the most broken bosses out there like them or General
No Parace l'sia from Arcana heart 3, just watch a single video of that cheap insanity.
Raging Raving when they brought up teleportation I was like wait till you see Parace.
I only know realize how damn good at tekken i must have been as a 12yo, beating the jinpachi with almost every character
pretty sure fighting all these bosses over my lifetime has taken years off my life.
enigmax79 RESURRECTION lmao!
For me Shao Kahn in MK 2, 3, and 9. Seth from SF4, and Gill from SF Third Strike :)
Rugal is far from the cheapest KoF boss, Igniz and Magaki take those honors with pride. Rugal in KoF 02 UM is also especially mean, since you can't continue against him, and he's a hard to reach special final boss.
Other tough SNK bosses:
Mizuki Sam Sho 2
Demon Gaoh Sam Sho 6
AoF 2 Geese Howard KoF Neowave
Amakusa Sam Sho 1
Eh I don't know if I should trust you, Amakusa is pretty simple. But I agree that Rugal from KoF 94 is the easiest KoF boss, whoever presented this missed the last 25 years or something. Even his later incarnations have more punch, my personal nightmare is Zero from 2000.
@@Chraan Magaki. That's all.
2002 UM Rugal, that's it
I'm a bit surprised Parace l'sia from arcana heart 3 wasn't on here.
Greg Milne i agree the stun-palm followed with 2 fire from the tummy is like 70%.
I think you meant BioFreaks and I think that guy you're referring to was Maximillian
Rolan Alcantara you watch maximillian dood too?! if there's one thing we both agree on, that is he should make a boss rage on marie from skullgirls. that'll be awesome to see.
Mysterious Jojo 195, and he's still no General from Kaiser knuckle ;)
If only they knew about General from Kaiser Knuckle...
General from Kaiser Knuckle
Sissy from Power Instinct Matrimell
Eternal Champion from Eternal Champions
They're the Unholy Trinity of Cheap Bosses
I like the Shao Kahn one because
"You have become the very thing you swore to destroy" to defeat the cheap fighting game boss, you had to become the cheap fighting game boss
Night Terror from soul calibur 3 with his laser beams, screen-wide explosion and earthquake, plus he's impossible to ring out
What about Night Terror from Soulcalibur III? Wings, immune to ring outs, lasers, and major anger management issues
ARC Alpha Studios don't get me started on the goddamn lasers
Soul Calibur 3 in general had some of the most relentless AI.
Abyss is bad enough, but I've not unlocked Night Terror yet...and maybe that's a good thing?
Maximilian Dood just fought against him. Even Dood was handled like a child a good 20 - 30 times before he beat Night Terror.
@@lipailong2 Very true. SC3 was too hard for a casual player. The AI cheated most of the time so I used a cheat device to even the odds up :).
"GILL" the boss from Street Fighter 3 makes me think that he was a rejected mascot for "Icy/Hot"¿?
Akuma is the worst in street fighter 2
Hey, great list but where is Hazama from Blazblue: Continuum Shift arcade mode?? He is a long range attack character surrounded by an impossible to turn off orb that drains your health if you get close- along with the biggest jump in difficulty from all the previous fights that I can remember. Now that's an SNK style boss
Leviathanogdra Don't forget you can't use D attacks when you're inside. Finally someone else said it.
Leviathanogdra then after you defeat him get a fight mu 12 super happy fun times yes and how can I forget about Unlimited Nu 13 back in the original BlazBlue and on the PSP.
Where was Shin Akuma!? guess ill wait for the Commenter edition (Tekken 7 btw)
SVC chaos shin akuma
The fact that I remembered the teleport uppercut to beat Shao Khan and I only played the game back when it came out truly shows how much of a pain he was lol
Motaro? Easily the cheapest boss ever.
General says otherwise he is literally unbeatable the only way to beat him is by abusing a glitch in the system
True. However, he is technically a Sub-Boss. So that won't count.
dayum i wanted to break my ds because i cant beat him
Agreed Motaro mkiii, the bastard
