Yummy!! This reminds me of great times after going to the movies, I would go to eat JACK Daniels Barbecue Ribs and Shrimp with Onion Rings at TGI FRIDAYS!!! I used to dip my shrimp in the Jack Daniels sauce!! The Best Days of My Life!! OMG, your shrimp recipe is Perfect!!!
I have made these several times and they are delicious. Bacon easier to wrap if you lay bacon flat on cutting board and role the shrimp. Thank you for the awsome recipe..
Jason, I just ordered bacon wrapped shrimp at a Mexican place. They were outstanding! Yours look even BETTER!! I love those low-numbered one pound bags of big, raw frozen shrimp. Your sauce sent this recipe out of the solar system! Man oh man did that sauce look great! I saved this recipe to my favorites! Great job my friend!
Appetizer? Side? No schteenkin' way! I see main course. With some new potatoes (with some of that garlic butter), hushpuppies (more garlic butter), and a kale salad (no garlic butter, LOL). And now I'm hungry! I've gotta make a batch of these.
I did this to a tee awesome used hickory with a mix of apple wood, did this on my bbq with a smoker box this is a keeper loved the taste added brown sugar to the the sauce my taste do it is wonderful
I love, love, love when you shoot video in your restaurant Jason. I will definitely try this out since I have some of your rub left. Do you sell it in bulk?
Hi Tom! It's either that or try to do it with 3 little kids running around. Way less distractions at the straunt' haha! We got a bigger shaker its available online at a couple of places. I know the KC BBQ store has some in stock. Happy to send you some to let me know.
I will have to try these next and I think I have the shrimp already but have to check them out. Have you tried bacon wrapped Oysters yet? Some kind of good for sure. You need very thin bacon cut in half and kind of pre cooked in a pan and then take the largest steamed Oyster and wrap them in the bacon and then use a toothpick to secure them + dipping them in butter or your sauce then put them on your grill just to cook the bacon a little more and then ENJOY to the moistest A+A+A+ Some kind of good I say :)
The ONLY thing I would have done differently is to pour the bourbon into the cup you had the cocktail sauce in, to rinse it out. Other than that, this is bookmarked and I WILL be trying this on my smoker this summer. Thanks!
Hey Jason! Didn't see these on your menu. Perhaps you have more than one. Shrimp look and sound great. Love to try these at your restaurant. Nice job on the video. Two suggestions: 1) Speed up the repetitive parts and 2) Find some new music for the videos.
Hi there! Not on the permanent menu - we will have them on on down the road as a non permanent item. Thanks for the suggestions as we are always trying to improve videos - if you have a song Recommendation send me a link please!
Yes indeed, put those on the menu Jason! I'm gonna give these a try. Nice touch adding some cocktail sauce and bourbon to the BBQ sauce! So, were you smoking those ribs at 350F also?
Yeah Troy the horseradish cocktail sauce is key IMO. Yeah good catch haha! We cook the ribs at 275 but kicked em up for about 30 minutes while the shrimp was on!.
Yeah I don’t think I got that on camera! With the little ones I’m not worried about but with the other ones yes - I do like to devein the shrimp! Thank you for watching!
Nice thought but that's a lot of cook time for shrimp! Maybe an intensely smoked bacon to start? Need to see how big the shrimp really are. Interesting process -- from an old French chef.
When all you have is frozen shrimp (coming from Asia and fished by veritable slaves), how else could you cook them so that they might have taste? Oh well, ignorance is bliss... I guess.
Luis’s review over the final result was incredible. He was so detailed in his description.

Sounds good to me! Hope you like it - thanks for watching!
how to cook the shrimp if you don't have a smoker?
Also cooking time and over temp.
Works the same in the oven - just make sure you have it on convection you won’t get the smoke flavor but it will still taste good!!
Nice job GQue BBQ Guy! I'm going to tell that toaster oven guy to make some of those! :)
If anyone can its him! Thanks for watching TTM!

finally found a good version! I've got tired of watching videos with only salt and pepper.
Good to hear! I like to kick up the flavors over here! Thanks for watching!
Can you do in a regular oven at 350 degrees?
You bet!
Just will miss the smoke flavor
Yes indeed, put those on the menu Jason! I'm gonna give these a try. Nice touch adding some cocktail sauce and bourbon to the BBQ sauce! So, were you smoking those ribs at 350F also?

Lookin' good J!
Thanks For watching Tony!
Nice my friend!
Thanks bud!
If I wanted to do these in the oven what would you suggest?
Exact same
Just won’t have the smoke flavor!
How are the shrimp not over cooked?
I only ask because, this is a must try.
You got to use big ones - small ones will overcook
Thank you sir 🇮🇳
Man ur Killing me , I just set myself up for failure knowing how hungry I am , I'm most definitely going to try this
Awesome! Hope you like it!
If alcohol is a no-go, is there something else you'd recommend trying in it's place, or would you just leave it out?
Just leave it out - will still be delicious!
What is the reason for not deveining your shrimp? The black vein that runs along the shrimp's back is its intestinal tract.
No reason at all - if you have the time it’s better to do
You got me 😍on 🍤 and 🥓 🤤🤤🤤
Oh yeah!!👊🏼🔥
Can I do this in a regular oven?
Yes - only thing missing will be the smoke flavor
@@Gquebbqco cooking times and temp. of oven?
Where can I buy the Rub
On our website - www.gquebbq.com - hope you like it!
Can I put them in oven @ 350?
Yes - the will be great! Happy Thanksgiving!
After watching this, I cant have a bbq without making these! My family loves them. The mod for us is that we dont use the garlic butter
They are a crowd pleaser! Thanks for watching!
What about deveining
What about if you don’t have a smoker
You can make in the oven
GQue BBQ oh ok thank you
I don’t have bourbon, can I use cognac? 😆
Use whatever you like!
What if you don't have a smoker? 😟😞
It will still work in an oven

He don’t play!
Man, it must be nice to film in your restaurant. #Jealous LOL
Better than having 3 little kids running around trying to push every button on the camera haha! Thanks for watching!
Them things look to dang good. I'm fat enough but these will have to be made
Now your talking! Thanks for watching!
They look good, but I didn't see the shrimp being deveined
Yeah I don’t think I got that on camera! With the little ones I’m not worried about but with the other ones yes - I do like to devein the shrimp! Thank you for watching!
Nice thought but that's a lot of cook time for shrimp! Maybe an intensely smoked bacon to start? Need to see how big the shrimp really are. Interesting process -- from an old French chef.
thank you for watching and for suggestions!
Omgosh come cook for me!!!!
Do you live somewhere awesome?
Mmmmm bacccooonnnnnn
You have to devein those shrimp.
Anyone who references Ron Swanson gets a thumbs up from me.
Appreciate it haha
Cut lobster. Shell prior to cooking
Yes ladies size does matter
2 drops of Bourbon? This should not be in the title!
Why is it that everything I like is either illegal, immoral or fattening?
To be fair that was a 1:8-10 cocktail to BBQ sauce and about a 16 part bourbon.
yes it might have been - easier to add more as you can't take it out once its in. Thanks for watching!
