This is a perfect example of why we always complain about it, because these companies always go to far they always attempt to push things beyond the limit to the point where it literally affects everyone's experience. 2k17 was literally the year where microtransactions started to become 2ks top priority and everything in that game compare to 16 regressed. Especially when it came to the graphics and park 💀. Not saying it wasn't fun but...

Now they just exist to print money. They no longer need to innovate. There is no one out there to challenge them. Conpettion breeds excellence and it is sorely needed. EA failing was horrible for consumers. We need them in this fight. The days when 5 studios would out an NBA game were really great, its a damn shame making games has gotten so expensive and prohibitive to smaller devlopers.
If you think there isn't much different from 23 then you're tripping. Micro transactions are horrible I'm ngl but the gameplay is alot more balanced. And there's a skill gap with everything now.
