I feel like the Westboro Church is one of the more unifying forces in our country. Everywhere they go, communities unite in opposition against them. In the city close to where I live, they were going to protest a soldiers funeral procession. I have never seen the city so united in a cause. There was a huge turnout to honor the soldier and block the Church members from view. It turned out to be a really powerful, emotional moment.
I don't even listen to Foo Fighters, I only really know their famous songs, but holy fuck they're all totally awesome dudes and anyone who disagrees is either a liar or braindead...

I mean, their hate towards the lbgt community, non-Christians, etc. make them assholes as individuals, but what is the worst thing the WBC has done? Protest? At least they aren't violent, and that's what matters. The right to protest in important, and I don't think we should be picking and choosing which causes are worthy of protesting and which causes are not. As long as the protests are peaceful, they have every right to preach their hate as the BlackLives protestors, abortion clinic protestors, etc. We should be thankful the WBC chooses to protest to spread their hate, instead of using violence like other religious groups such as ISIS/AlQueda (not that they have anything to do w/eachother)
