You guys are legit masterminds coming up with the idea by Rick Rolling an entire city in Texas with the power of drone technology. How do you even get the QR code to go right to the music video? Would you have to program the drones with a certain type of software to act as a QR code, I'm curious but also blown away at the same time!

It's some kind of software they use that allows the drones to formate computer generated Imagery. (CGI) but I'm this case with the right amount of drones, and the right use of the software, I'm guessing they can formate any compatible Imagery from a computer in general. This QR code, which acts as a link, is a perfect example of that. They used an app or software that can generate the RickRoll link into a QR code and then put the Imagery in the drone software more than likely. Somebody used an app on their phone likely and did the same thing, turned the link into a QR code and literally had it tattooed on their ARM just to Rick roll people. 😂🤣 I'm thinking about printing the QR Code and putting in on my door, I almost planned to tape a bunch of them in lockers and walls back in High School when I discovered the Link to QR code apps on Google Play but I never did.

Hey there, I just wanted to leave a quick tip: a QR code is best scanned when it has a white area around it at least 4 squares wide. But, since this is in the night sky, that isn't very feasible.
If your background is black, I'd actually suggest you _invert_ the entire QR code, with the white squares turned black and the black squares turned white. It'll actually still work and you won't need to make a border around it anymore!

I recreated the matrix with different size dots in PS, tried different blurs, I couldn’t get iPhone to recognise it as a QR with such low resolution, even with tiny 5 character URLs. Why don’t we get to see anyone in the video do an actual scan of the code? Cuts cuts cuts.
