Basically a 3-dimensional scene is converter into an array of three dimensional coordinates, one for every available drone. And then between scene transitions each drone flies between their own pre-programmed locations, loaded as a individual flight plan in its controller hardware. To make sure the drones don't drift, the operators set up a groundbased transmitter system called RTK (real time kinematic) that uses a GPS-system to pinpoint the locations of each drone up to a few centimeters in precision from a basestation. This is then transmitted and each drone uses this data to correct deviations. Doing all this requires custom software that efficiently converts a scene into hundreds of individual flightplans (and some are more fancy allowing for elaborate animated scenes) and hardware modifications to skeletonize the terminals of an existing RTK system on the market, integrating them with the drone frames and sent its input into a drone's flight controller to be interpreted as corrections. @shazhardie С наступающим Рождеством и Новым годом! 🎄✨🌟
Congratulations Sky Elements! Kudos to all involved. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
1,499 doesn’t count, clickbait
Merry Christmas tho
Wow. The programming that created this is impressive.
That was amazing! I’ve seen the Nutcracker performed all over the world and that was one of the best. Well done to everyone involved
Oh wow. That was breathtaking, I am at a loss for words. That was so beautiful and amazing. Thank you for sharing. Congratulations, and Merry Christmas. ❤
Well done you lads!! After ten years of ballet, the Nutcracker every year, so lovely to see drones take one for the team!! Happy Christmas, and thank you for sharing your talent....I'm NY Toms very Brazil/Brazilian future wife MD, Veteran, Middle East & Cont. of Africa
I love Christmas, I love gathering with my family💖
Amazing! What’s also amazing is that like going to a concert half to most of those in attendance will miss the true magic and visuals of all the time and effort put into this because they choose to view it through a 7” phone screen. Put your phones down and enjoy the experience!
This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! Well done, that isn’t easy to do by ANY means!!
As an aside I wonder what people who didn’t know this was going on or were flying overhead thought when they saw this lol
how would you know if it was easy or not? its just programed into a computer. they didnt actually fly the drones. they just turned them on and the program did the rest. and any spectators that saw this probably figured it out pretty quick that it was a light show. like i saw the video, wasnt to complicating for me to figure it out
@@BarkerVancity
@@k7jeb Yeah you can always tell when people are just running their mouths with no experience actually doing the thing they talk about.
@BarkerVancity hi there. I'm throwing a party but I think it's going to be just too much fun
I'm wondering if you would be able to attend to suck most of the fun out of it?
@@BarkerVancity whens your next drone show then?🤣
How beautiful!! Thank you for all the hard work for presenting this to me and the world. Congrats on the record you set!! Merry Christmas 🎄!
Compelling - captured the spirit of Christmas and the classic Nutcracker music and ballet - loved every second.
This is a truly stunning piece of art. Why isn't this being talked about? I haven't come across anything about this on TikTok or headlines yet. Is it possible for this to become a tradition for Christmas across all states, just like fireworks on July 4th?
Absolutely, spectacularly beautiful and magnificent!!! The Nutcracker is my very favorite. I have been going to see it most years for 57 years. However I couldn’t attend this year or last year, (I was in the hospital last year) as I have been too sick, fighting for my life. You put a huge smile on my heart with this amazing display. I just loved it!!! Thank you soooo much!!! Congratulations!! You deserve any and all rewards!!
This is nothing short of magic to my engineer brain to orchestrate so many devices in the air with a voxel-perfect execution (voxel is the 3D cousin of pixel). Amazing job Sky Elements!
Wow! How beautiful and amazing to see this on RUclips! I bet it was super gorgeous in real life. Thanks for sharing this.
Oh I bet that was spectacular in person!!! So cool!!! Thank you and congratulations on your 2 world records!!🎉
Thanks so much!!
Really nice. Happy Christmas from Frankfurt Germany
That was incredible!!! Congrats on the two new Guinness world records :D Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
Onde está o presépio de Natal? Onde está o menino Jesus? E a estrela de Belém? E os reis magos? Esse sim é o verdadeiro motivo do Natal! 🤔
Amen?
Guinness world records are a fucking joke. More of a popularity gain type of thing.
The stunt is cool regardless
Taking Christmas light shows to a new level with performances like this. To everyone involved with this, hell of a job.
if only the kids were actually paying attention lmao.
Very very beautiful. Deserves more attention. One drone shot another 1,499.
Incredible. We have come very far with technology so quickly. Absolutely Incredible. Bravo to this team.
This is amazing! Extremely well done on every aspect, including the video. Congratulations on your Guinness World Records!
Amazing display, show and feat, technically brilliant and beautiful to watch!
Right? Wasn't that long ago it seems drones were new tech.
I fly drones as a hobby, but to choregraph 1,500 at the same time is amazing. The time to program must be many, many hours by many people. Very impressive display well done!
……..GOOSEBUMPS!!!!!!! You guys deserve every accolade one could give!!! Thank you and congratulations ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing. Congrats on the records. Clearly a lot of work went into the production. Merry Christmas!
simply astounding !!!!! We are all living in exciting tech times for sure ! Sky Elements has some very creative folks working for them !! Congrats to all who made this happen .
This is just amazing. Its a magical show, I cannot belive my eyes. Simply wow
What a lovely surprise on Christmas Eve! I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m still impressed by one drone taking off haphazardly. 🎄✨
Officially amazing!!!! Congrats Sky Elements team!!!
What I like the most about this is that even the homeless people can experience the Christmas lights and vibes even those who are flying from a distance they see it....
What I like about it is that it's quiet, so those who prefer not to partake aren't forced to. Looking at you, fireworks! with your loud expulsions that trigger combat vets and terrify animals for miles. I imagine there is also far less potential for litter, fire and catastrophic accidents.
@@-.._.-_...-_.._-..__..._.-.-.- Exactly. Merry Christmas vegan! It's always nice to find others who put the animals first. So annoying that carnists are still carnists right?!
Seemed Racist to me.
@@RossDrum Why and why did not does?
@@-.._.-_...-_.._-..__..._.-.-.- Nice show but doesnt come close to fireworks.
I am SO PROUD of what we as human species have achieved. This is insane, and so beatiful. For the first time I found the nutcracker interesting
Not really, China did 7000+ drones... no word on that becuase USA doesn't like China
Wow! I have not even finished seeing the whole video yet and I am utterly amazed at what I am seeing. Thank you for doing this. This was truly magical. Merry Christmas everyone!
Such awesome job they have done Bravo to you all for winning 2 awards what a very valid Aerial view bring much joy to very one this season ❤
That was marvelous! Full of spectacles and excitement! You just draw a new line to a whole new drone magical shows! Salute to you all guys! Keep the up the good work! God bless you! Congratulations!! Watching from the Philippines!🎉😮
I had never heard the story of the nut cracker. Thank you. This was the coolest way I've ever seen a story. I cannot wait for more records to be set. The future is bright.
That was one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen! Bravo!
How wonderful. It must have been spectacular being there !!! Congrats !!!!
Will fireworks become prehistoric in the future is the next question.
Absolutely amazing display! Kudos to the programmers who spent literally hundreds of hours to bring the display to fruition! Not only did they have the display in the air, but had several other drones flying and recording what we, the public got to see in their "birds eye" view!!! Congrats on breaking world records, you deserve it!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS,!
Can you even begin to imagine what "Drone Show 2038" is going to look like?
Possibly the best use of drones I have ever seen in my life! Definitely worthy of two Guinness world records, you guys knocked it out of the park!
Beautiful and what a great idea. Now that’s what you call talent. Merry Christmas. Congratulations you deserve that award 🥇
I'm not a person that get amazed by things that amazed others, but this is a "wow" for me. Thank you guys! Well done!
I do this kind of stuff every weekend. Whats the big deal?
This is a world record.. how do you do this every weekend
What a strange comment. 🤔

What a wonderful show ♡
Would love to see it out in the country with no background lights
Same, but that would be expensive
Records or not, that was sensationally done!
Absolutely one of the most incredible shows I have ever seen. Congratulations and well done to all involved.
Lmfao Hokay buddy
@@Crosbie85what is so amazing about drones programmed to be in formation? The only amazing thing is there is no wind to affect their flight.
Congrats!!! That was amazing! The drones were choreographed beautifully. But the FPV quad shots really blew me away! Loved it!
Still amazing work. Keep up the great work and making breathtaking events . Would hope some day one comes to this area We would love to go see it. Drones have always fascinated me. from ones We printed out with a 3d printer to the more race like drones . The beauty of them doing pictures in the sky Shows not only can this be used to kill . But it also can be used to create such beauty .
What a beautiful way to break a record. Then you did it twice. Bravo 🎊 🎊 🎊
Thank you 😁
Oh this is an exceptional performance...this performance is out of this world...deserves the record...so beautiful😊❤
