"It only hurts a little" - the kind of lie one tells a friend they don't want to scare about childbirth. When they know the truth - there is NO pain like it for a woman, and back then childbirth was often fatal.
Not only that, but the anxiety of the upcoming pain can be detrimental to the health of mother and child while carrying as well. Keep her calm and happy until the birth, then when she's on kid number 2 she knows what to expect.
It would be funny when Charlotte was giving birth she screamed while making eye contact with Agatha, a look that says “you lying B*tch.” Like a friend would. And Agatha is holding her hand like “I’m sorry!”
You know. The queen we see in later years. Is partly because she had an older woman and friend in Lady Danbury to counsel her and really make her aware of her duty to the black side of the ton. As well as all of england
If I had a nickel for every time Lady Danbury was in the room during a friend's childbirth, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot...but it's weird that it happened twice. fr tho, anyone is lucky to have Agatha Danbury as their friend. Calls out ur emotional constipation for what it is, while also truly caring.
Queen Charlotte was lucky to have a friend like Lady Danbury

Lady Danbury was like a big sis to Queen Charlotte. ❤
Their relationship is the best part of this show.
Charlotte was in need of a friend she never once said anything negative about the King Everything took time
Love love love these two together!
Definitely 🥰❤️
Sorrows. Prayers. 😂
And to her own son and her granddaughters funeral. I was trying not to laugh 😂
She cracked me up with that everytime 😂😂😂😂
I say it all the time now 😂😂😂
My absolute favorite part I promise I will be saying this 🤣🤣🤣 I mean it’s simple and powerful lol
Sorrows, prayers is my new catch line. I say it to teller-markers.

I love how Brimsley is just holding the dog in the background all the time

Yes... Lady Danbury was an integral part of how Queen Charlotte was able to shape the ton and her marriage as well. I love those two women together💕

What happened to "I can pick my own orange"? King George must feel he can grow his own garden....
Not to be boring, but can you play Charlotte and Adolpho? Please and the glass is beautiful!
ok
hii, could you please share the key? xx
What was the point of her comment about the Pomeranian? Was there a point?
It's rare, so for someone to get you something rare it's presumed u re important to them
True, and she initially thought it was a deformed bunny hence the explanation above.
Derrota de ruim.
whats the key?

I feel that a tooth ache is worse than childbirth.
You either haven't had a child or you had a c-section
Your body is designed to downplay the pain of childbirth after it happens. Most women forget. It's the only way they can do it again.
Most males probably feel that way unfortunately
Very close a toothache can drive you mad…
I would take the toothache, instead of the pain of childbirth. No wonder my daughter is an only child.
