These scooters in my opinion need to pass their test in order to do the job as a profession... They are soooooo reckless in all aspects of their job

I do have some sympathy for the lorry driver having done something like that with a coach in London before
i do as well but why not pull up somewhere and have a quick look at google maps?

ever good lost driving 44 ton truck , I have ,it is very frustrating ,other drivers just dont understand.
It's actually insane that there is no theory test required for the CBT and the course itself is almost completely unregulated.
As the cat was indicating a right turn, if they had collided the scooter woukd 100% have been at fault for. 1: overtaking at a junction. 2: Driving without due care and attention.

As for those signs about the schools, I've not seen them in the North....yet.
Just like drivers on 4 wheels, people on 2 wheels aren't all bad, just numpties. They come in all forms, throw in pedestrians, professional drivers and more and you will always find a numpty! I drive 4 and 2 wheels and I come across them every day and I do wonder how they got their licences. It's usually the person's attitude more than the type of vehicle.

The problem I have with 20 mph limits is that it is so slow compared to what you're used to that and, having got used to the level of attention that 30+ mph requires, I find it a little too easy, and It's easy to let your mind wander rather than concentrate as hard as one should on driving.

You are permitted to reverse into a one-way street, as the truck was attempting. For 1 vehicle length. Regardless of the no-entry.

You said the lorry had nothing down the road that he was revering out of to deliver t, but there is a transport co. In Southampton that I know has delivered 40ft containers of furniture to addresses in London where the street is fat too small for large vans let alone large trucks.my brother drove for this co.

5:30 the KIA in front did exactly what I would have done, in that they got out of the way, which allowed your truck driver to complete their manoeuvre.
6:54 here the truck has plenty of room to turn around ! These trucks can turn on a penny ! The issue would have been the trailer, it would have started to go backwards if he had made the U turn, but it was do-able, much easier than the turn he tried next.

Saying about scooters, I had a scooter in front of me who turned left without indicating at a mini roundabout earlier, after initially making it look like they were going straight on just because of how they drove it, despite the left turn being a relatively easy one (i.e. less tight than 90 degrees). At least just the virtue of the fact they were turning left meant they went the correct way round the roundabout.
Hopefully none will ever be so stupid as to work out a way to go round a mini roundabout the wrong way while turning left but with the standard of some driving you see these days...
Re the arctic reversing off the mini roundabout into the one way street.
The prick in the Prius should have sussed what was going on (easy) and reversed back from whence he came and blocked that road just like LDC and the bus driver had done with their lanes.
The lorry would then have had time and space to successfully complete his maneuver. Job, done and everyone can get on with the rest of their day.
I think you made the right decision to carry on through amber light. You were very close to the top line with a car not too far behind you.
However, you were inpatient and discourteous at 11:15 waiting to get into the multi storey car park. The car emerging correctly assessed that you would have to wait until the car coming towards you had entered the car park and cleared the entrance for you which was more than enough time for the emerging car to exit and clear before you were able to move. You weren't inconvenienced in the slightest.
Driving in London these days is sh1t show after sh1t show it really is, I now go for drives out in the countryside for no reason, just to feel like a normal driver again - go to a nice country park, go for a walk, and drive back home feeling much better and in a better mood to deal with these morons on the road that we now see on a daily basis, scrub that: hourly basis.... 😄

There was an industrial estate to the left of where the lorry driver was talking to the bus driver where he could have turned round.
It got knocked down and turned into flats. (the ones above the sainsbury's at the roundabout)
For pedestrians crossing the road by that junction, they don't have priority. What the highway code actually says is that the driver "should" let them cross, it does not say the driver "must" let them cross which would give the pedestrian priority. I would argue that this means, if it is safe to allow them to cross e.g. there's no Berk in a Merc tailing you too close then stop and let them cross. If there is someone tailing you too close for example you do not have to stop.
I guess it's a nice clear as mud update to highway code...
The thing is with the highway code is if it's in there as a should or a must or anything else if you hit that pedestrian you are in deep s***, if it's anything to do with a pedestrian or a cyclist we have to bow down to them remember we are not worthy 😜
Absolutely. Wise not to hit a pedestrian then. 😛 But, if you don't hit them and someone complains would it even get to court or if it does would it succeed if it does not state "must"?

11:12 I think that your speed and position confused the white car at Lidl. You slowed to an almost stop leaving him room to get out. I think he assumed that since you couldn't turn into Lidl because of the BMW that you were going to let him out while you waited for the BMW to go in. It seems you slowed up leaving space. A misunderstanding I would say, not a failure to give way
Scooter riders with L Plates delivering food. I suspect they ain’t insured. Using a vehicle for commercial purposes while not on a full licence. Can’t imagine the cost.

They have not been trained properly
It's bad enough when they change a 40 to a 30
People are SO impatient these days. The truck driver is obviously in a strange town, and missed his turn in turning. He doesn't know the area and tries to find somewhere to turn around. Speaking from experience, I would say that the guy hasn't been driving LGVs for long, or he would have been as able to turn his truck around. He tried a couple of times, but couldn't do it. He obviously needs a lot more space to do it.
Anyway, he will (should) learn from his mistakes.
So - if anyone comes across a situation like this again, please be patient !

You can run an amber or a red if there's a danger you will get shunted but he obviously knows nothing about manners or brakung distances, as fir the scooters and ninja they are wannabe audi drivers or were taught by one😎 enjoy your "apples " 👍

1:07 video.... The horn is to alert people of your presence, so was used entirely correctly. The rider potentiallyknew they'd screwed up, put themselves in a stupid position and was just beeping to say "I'm here".
The horn shouldn't be used to tell people you're annoyed...

My Garmin dashcam came with 2 sticky magnets and the dashcam mounts to the magnet so it's easy to take off. No, it has never fallen off either despite me going off road one night and as long as you have a high speed mini SD card in it the video is very good. Cost was about £60..
