My shop has ran the FLG3&4, with my only complaint is that the 4 was less ergonomic, but dependable for every day use. We've upgraded to Techna Pro this year, and now use the FLG4 as sealer guns. The FLG 4 is a very versatile gun and a great value, but the Techna difference on performance and efficiency is like night and day. As far as setting my fan goes, i just adjust it until I have the sharpest crisp edge on the fan and then go. Keep up the good shootin''.
Hi Gunman, just wanted to say thank you for this video. I had been using only HVLP guns (mostly a DeVilbiss FLG4) for furniture finishing and was getting CONSTANT orange peel, no matter what. Based on your recommendation, I went and bought a Tekna Pro (slightly bigger version of the ProLite) with the TE20 aircap, and Oh My God, what a difference. Lays clear like glass. A bit more overspray, but what a finish. Thank you so much!
My options changed massively since I got a couple sata 5500 rps. I was a diehard devilbiss guy but my boss offered to buy a couple guns to help speed things up and I absolutely love them. They make mottling a thing of the past even on the toughest colors. I spray Spies water so it might be more sensitive to mottle but regardless compared to any of the other guns it's effortless with the sata.
lol my first gun was a binks #7 with a FF tip. But that was around 1977 and we were spraying Dulux ,Centari and Lacquer, yeah times have changed a little . GR8 vids
I started painting cars approx. four months ago and I was using the Sharpe Finex FX3000 and struggling to apply a smooth base and a smooth clear. One car I painted had over 200 runs in my clear coat! Uggh. After watching this video, I purchased a new Devilbiss Tekna Prolite and it sprays awesome! I just finished my second vehicle with the Prolite and I absolutely love it. I am using the TE10 air cap with 1.3 tip, and the fan all the way out with two turns out on the fluid as you suggested. Settings for greatness. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hello. I am a motorcycle painter here in Brazil, even though I do not know how to speak his language, I have been able to see and understand his way of applying the varnish to the pieces and to understand what is really good for each type of application. Thank you and keep posting your experiences out there. Thanks a lot for the help. Too bad that it is very difficult to buy these equipment here. Thank you very much. Hello Gunny, I have a question for you. I was wondering what you do when you come across the car that has had that ceramic coating put on it and how you remove that before you paint? thanks man
I began spraying in the 1970's with DeVilbiss and Binks Model 7. When automotive paints moved to 2 stage systems it became advantageous to acquire a good hvlp for topcoats. There have been several guns that provided decent results, but my favorite gun is the Optima 800 1.4 was purchased around 1985 has been a great gun...never changed the fluid tip and needle showing no signs of excessive wear! Many years later...it is now time to replace the material cup, the original plastic cup is about done, will replace with a stainless steel, or aluminum cup soon.
Just bought a Tekna Pro Lite here in the US , thanks for the recommendation . I can't wait until my truck restoration is ready for paint to try it out .
The super Nova is a freak of nature. It took me a minute to adjust to the the way it sprays. But the tekkna pro light by devilbiss is by far my favorite gun.
I've learnt a lot from your videos and keep learning morze everyday. It gives me even more joy from what I do at work. I am just wondering How many other girls following you? Monika from UK
Love your comments and advice on the guns, I'm plucking up courage to sort the oxidisation on our XK8 but first to clean up the leather interior I reckon a mini LPLV gun on a 0.8 nozzle might work better than an air brush for a full out the car 'refurb'. Time will tell !!!!
Gunman I bought the tekkie prolite and couldn't be happier. Bought it to paint my bumper on my 2000 camaro. Its a hobby but I like tools. I figure a great gun will help a mediocre painter.
well mr Gun man, I have been painting cars for 30 years, I love the no nonsense lingo ! I will send this vid to my apprentice lad and hopefully he will choose a decent gun with your advice in mind !! cheers :)) from the poms
For woodworking and home renovations. Doors, mounding fascia, cabinets which hun would you get? ANI- R150 or devilbiss GPI or GTI Pro lite? I’m probably getting the husky oil free 30 gallon compressor about 6.8cfm at 40psi.
there are so many out there uploading videos on spray painting/guns - most are are not easy to follow - the Gunman explains things in simple terms & easy to follow - tnx, enjoying your videos
Have to agree! I love my iwatas and my satas. And because I have them that is what I use. But I do believe the pro lite is the best bang for your buck!
I just recently got back into the industry. i was usin a sata4000 for base and a iwata w-400 for clear. so i ordered a iwata w-400 and also a iwata ws400. before i was in a production body shop where a little bit of orange peel was good. now I'm in a custom restoration shop. i cant can you tell me how many turns out i should set the fluid on both guns, to lay the clear like glass?
Hi how are you? I'm from Brazil. I am buying a Devilbiss Tekna Prolite, I would like to know how many psi do you use on polyester base and on the varnish? How many rotations of flow do you use in the adjustment, is the adjustment tightening or loosening the screw?
Hi, I am from INDIA and I have been painting for around 10 years now. Here in India we are not able to use quality guns like you guys because to paint a full motorcycle we get paid around 200$-250$ maximum (including all raw material, ground preparation, primers, base coat, paint & clear coats.). On each job I only make maximum around 30$-50$ so investing in the high end quality equipments is not cost effective but following your videos have inspired me to gift myself a good gun & have also helped improve my jobs, now I am getting more work compared to before using your techniques, all because of you so a big THANK YOU. I have also started getting custom paint jobs now. The pure passion to do good for what I love the most. I have been saving some money for around one and a half year now for this. Can you please suggest me a perfect gun I should buy which will do both painting and clear coat, I am ok buying 2 different size tips, since I cannot buy more than 1 gun at this point of time. Also I cannot buy any good spray gun here in India so I will have to get one online from USA. Currently I am using a very poor quality spray gun available here by the brand name PILOT. Hope you can understand my situation and guide me in making the correct choice. thank you, Cheers.
Devilbiss spray guns are awesome for automotive finishes, I myself have sprayed many different brands of paint with different type's of VOC here in the U.S. , for me the Iwata lph 400 was the best for spraying 2.1VOC single stage paint or 2k clear on large fleet trucks, Sata spray guns have worked well for me spraying metallic single stage paint.
Great vid. Every gun I use is on this list....but I would put them in a different order. My FLG is my sealer gun, Tekna for color, Supernova for clear. I know why you put the Tekna at #1, it is probably the most versatile gun ever built, and is the best base gun I have ever used. If I could only have one gun...it would be a Tekna. But the best clear gun, in my opinion, is the Supernova. Hands down.
Great video I have learned a lot from your videos and I have been doing this kind of work for 15 years in West Virginia USA I have a satajet 5000 hvlp but I'm going to get a tekna when I can get the extra money thanks for the great videos
if you have tried I would like your opinion on a devilbiss 670 plus gun been around for 10-15 years still available new. as I recall devilbiss came out with the GTI millennium and 670+ at the same time
Yet to use a Binks apart from the old suction fed black guns still laying around, they are not common guns in Australia and think there's only 2 models sold.
Great video and very informative for the budding sprayer. Will you do a compressor review at some point. As a beginner I am not sure which compressor to buy for home use and don't want to be paying through the nose
Never painted before, bought the GTI pro lite TE20 , did the whole motorcycle with it. Primer, base, and clear. All with pretty much the same settings. It turned out great. I love the gun but what do I know. Ive never used anything else. I have since bought a primer gun.
Great Job, I have an Iwata Air Gunza and agree with you it is a good primer/sealer gun. I purchased two Devilbiss FLG5 guns, one for base coat the second for clear coat upon your recommendation. I used the FLG5 for clear and was surprised with a huge fan and applied the clear like glass. Thanks for recommendation on the FLG5. Art Bolanos Houston, Texas
Hey Gunny, I had an issue with both FLG5 from Spray Guns Direct from the UK. Our good friend Chris from Sales and Devilbiss Rep Ian gave me pointers on the gun. Resolved the issue very quickly and a "Two Thumbs Up" Gunman Style to Spray Guns Direct and Devilbiss for great service. Art Bolanos
hey gunman, I don't do cars, I mostly spray woods and I like car body acrylics. what is the difference between 1k and 2k when we talk spraying? do I need a different cap? I am using an inexpensive gun with a 1,4mm nozzle. works for my backyard projects and jerking around. I know 2k dry harder and are much better to wetsand and buff. is that true? thanks!
Thank you for your videos. I noticed you sometimes spray clear fast and in other videos considerably slower. Can you explain when I should spray faster or slower. Thanks from Bossier City , Louisiana USA
I used to use a GTI for clear but the cap pressure was way to high causing a lot of overspray in the booth and wasted materials. I have a tekna prolite but in the USA at least it is for base only. Tekna does make one that is meant for each material. I use my LPH400 for sealer and it’s absolutely amazing. I also have a WS400 supernova for clear and after some adjustments i can lay out glass every time. In my opinion the best base gun is the LS400 supernova or as some people call it an ENTECH. Best paint transfer i have ever had. Less waste and less overspray filling the booth. As always this is just my personal opinion. I do also like the sata 5000rp but I couldn’t justify spending that much money. I feel that sata makes the best gun for clearcoat.
Started a new shop here in Ohio in the United States. I follow all your helpful videos. Especially on your flake and candy. Have a question for you. How does a guy starting out get so.e better guns donated? The ones I have are cheap and create alot of extra work.
Very surprised to not see the SATA 5500 on here. My Sherwin Williams representative swears by Devilbiss but I like the Sata line. My actual gun of choice is the Graco pro xp85kv electrostatic gun.
yup tekna is the best IMO. My buddy loves his sigola too. Have you tried the ATOM X20 or 21 or 27 I hear it is good but I am thinking it is a knock off of something else. any information on it would be great.
What you think about binks spray gun , I have old binks and it's the best spray gun ever , I use only for clear coat , I had a sata jet and was good also , but now want a neew binks but no here on this top ten. 😰
Ah I wish I could get such a good finish on my projects. I cleaned out my 20 year old Iwata vx707? suction gun and gave it a go to see how it compared to my az3 1.3fluid tip gun, OMG it was like a bloody fog machine! some of the paint actually got onto the panel though.
You must have it set up wrong bro because I'm telling Ya it don't matter what fuckin spray gun you've got man it's tha man on the end of it that gets a top bollocks finish! !! Look don't get me wrong like if you put up gunnys devilbiss Guildford up against let's say a £30 sealy, Yanno which guns gonna perform better. Listen 90% of spray painting is prep work dude. You get that rate and your on a winner. This assignment kid seems to know his stuff though. I'll give him that, I enjoy watching his videos. I'm a industrial sprayer I do a lot of window frames, cladding, ceilings, and the like. We have a lot of work for supermarkets tescos, asda, Morrisons the other ones as well M&S, waitrose, we sprayed some fireproofing in a riverisland last night. I enjoy it man & that's what it's all about there ain't nowt worse than having a job you don't like. I started off spraying trailers when I was 18.
hey i just bought the devilbiss starting line set after using the really cheap no name guns for a while so could you give me some insight on what to expect between the starting line and the pro line so i can figure out if i should spend the extra $ for the pro line
We need a new top 10 review video. Ive been spraying clear with a supernova and base with a sata 5000. Those are my bosses guns, only gun I currently own is my own supernova which I only use for sealer. Currently looking to buy the devilbiss dv1 and or the Sata 5500, but I really need more info before I pull the trigger on either. Would love a updated video like this with the newer top class guns from these manufacturers
Hi, what you think about ingersol rand spray gun. Affordable and I'm not pro, but it's been the only gun ever I used and like to know your opinion on it.
New to painting my own vehicle, though I grew up in bodyshops. Mitsu Challenger I believe in Oz. Thanks for all the info, I am deciding between the ProLite and the Bellaria. Which used the least CFM ? I am using a 4hp 60gal compressor, BUT painting it in 2 sections, doors, hood and fenders 1st on stands in booth, then roof and 1/4's and hatch in another session. Solid red P85 , My plan is 3-4 coats red, 2-3 coats 50/50 red/clear and 2 coats clear. All urethane single stage with activator. I am using all HiFlo couplers with 3/8 hose and thinking about adding a 2nd. 4hp 60gal compressor if I can figure out how to plumb it.
Thanks for the great review. Do you have any opinion on remote tank systems? It appeals to me not to have the tank mounted on the gun, the option of using a disposable liner, and the option of using an aggregator. However, I have no experience using such systems.
Hi what gun would you recommend for spraying HOK Kandy. I have recently sprayed a car in kandy pink and found the gun I was using was a bit spotty on the spray pattern and has made the paint look a bit motley on some angles.
Just wondering your opinion on using the iwata w400 for a base coat and clear gun on a full car project..I'll be shooting a viper blue pearl and would like to just get one gun if possible
When I first started working auto-body for my Dad in my early teens, the only paint guns that existed were siphon-feed Guns. Of course, phones still had curly "Q" cords attached to the wall and most people thought you were well to do if you had one the could make it to the living room from the kitchen and it had a number pad dial on the receiver so you call from whatever room you could get away to. Back then the only paint guns worth having were, Binks and DeVilbiss. I would use SK's, Blue Points and I.R.'s for primer, and lacquer primer was the only thing that even existed when I first started. I think it was the ass-end of the '80s / early '90s when 2K entered the world but every shop I ever worked for in those days used lacquer primer until it was completely taken over by 2Ks in the mid-'90s. The first 2k product I can remember is RM 2K clear (Wich claimed you could "Key job" it and it would self heal. The only drawback to it was a dent could not be blended or repaired. If a car got hit in a quarter panel you had to repaint everything attached to it, which usually meant both quarters, the roof and, God forbid if there was custom work under that clear!!!) and then Sikkens came along shortly after and totally screwed up the entire paint code world. DuPont finally caught up and it wasn't long after that Martin Senior went basement bargain pricing and dominated the industry in my neck of the woods. Probably the most advanced paint product in my early years was Imron and Centari. Anyway, DeVilbiss was my go-to-gun for clear coats. I do have a pair of Air- Gunnza AZ3's with 4 needles and cap setups and I can tell you that the 1.3 is an awesome clear coat gun, The 1.5 set- up is a great all arounder and the 1.7 lays the 2k and Epoxy Primers down so well it's actually a joy to spray primmer. For custom work and big airbrush projects, my mini-gun and probably my favorite gun I have right now is the Sata-Minijet 4! What an amazing toy that little rat is. With the fan setting in the cone position, I can make pencil size lines and with a little eye to hand practice I am wiping out rat tails, shading, you name it that gun is the most versatile piece on the rack. I gotta say though, I would never have thought in million years a paint gun would get as pricey as they do today. Seem's like Iwata is the culprit that destroyed the spray gun world with the cost and, really until I actually put a big Sata-Jet in my hand, I thought the whole conversation around spray guns, airbrushes, HVLP v. LPHV, atomization and, overspray v. paint contact was a friggin scam!! The idea of well-placed grommets, air chambers and, hand-polished needles being any different from what already existed was all Greek to me. Before the whole "Atomisation" revolution came along, the most modern, "Hi-Tech" paint gun I cant remember was a Sharp. I can remember the Snap-on guy bringing one into the shop and talking in up and shortly after that, the sales reps' started invading the place. Sharp's were different and they had a unique feel and they looked kinda cool but it ended up being a $75 primer gun because to me, the most reliable and smooth tool I had was my DeVilbiss' All of this to say, HOLY SHIT!! I am in love with that Eddie VanHallen "Frankenstein" design you got there!! If I would have had a gun like that growing up ...... Or even now for that matter! I gotta have it!! I'll be looking. Great vid man! Thanks for the post. Like I said I've been doing auto body and custom paint since I was 14, I'm in my early 50's now and I do everything in my power to not touch any project
have you ever done a review on the graco-sharpe finex fx2000/fx3000 it's a cheap gun but it was good reviews I just want to know how it dose in a real shop and see how long it last
Great video Gunman !!! GTI Pro Lite wins the crown back from Sata 5000 ! So many great guns to choose from. I will get the legendary Pro Lite for clear only, Ani mini for touch ups, and a Flg 5 for base coats. My Flg 3 is sentenced to primer only. Thanks for the valuable info ! Cheers ! : )
Good job gun Man I don't spray but I'm trying to find something to use and you said don't use the HVLP so I'm trying to find something that I can spray a couple of cars you know make a little money off of but not invest too much money and break myself so thank you for this and do you have any suggestions sir which one would be good for beginners I want to paint a couple of doors and panels and stuff I'm going to pick a part and try to get my skills up first before I paint anything but I wanted to know what would you suggest for a beginner and what kind of compressor would you suggest for a beginner on a budget LOL
Thumbs up for the wonderful and descriptive comparison. So, what minimum size compressor would you recommend to be used with these high quality guns? i.e. the tank capacity, motor rating in HP, air delivery rate etc I want to get the setup as a hobby thing but I'm kinda greedy for perfection too. Your input will be highly appreciated. Thanks
You ever try a Sharpe Razor gun? Can be found used on fleabay for cheap. I like mine better than my Prolite. Like the prolite, it is modular- one cap swap stainless inards, one gun does it all.
I'm looking at buying the sgk 1.3mm for spraying a project car. Do U think this will be a good fun to lay base coat and gloss? Thanks. Love the vids mate very helpful as I'm about to attempt my first candy paint.
Hey there. Would you recommend three guns? One for primer, one for base coat and one for clear? I’m new to painting (never done it) and ordered two guns, GPi pro 1.4, 1.6 1.8 and the GTi Pro Lite 1.3+1.4 with a T110 cap so far to start and later maybe get that TE20 after some practice. Thanks for the videos.
Hey Gunman. Two questions. First, how does the Tekna GTI ProLite compare to the Tekna Copper? Secondly, what's your opinion on the Eastwood Concours HVLP gun for use with smaller air compressors? Thanks
Quick question, the gun review is now about 2 years old, what’s your current gun recommendation for me? I’m painting from my two car garage. My current need is to paint a bumper cover with base coat, clear coat. But when I get my gun I’ll probably want to paint everything! :) I see that you might use a primer gun, base coat gun, clear gun, blending clear gun, mini gun.... it gets confusing. I have an old gun from the 1980s, siphon feed? My understanding this gun needs to be replaced. I look forward to your advise-I love your channel!!!
Thanks Gunman... I was surprised there was not more Sata guns in the top 10. After watching it through would have to agree that the cost is too high for a top 5 finish. But Sata 4000 B RP should be Top 10. The DeVilbiss JGA should be there at 10 because the damn things wont die... Great Video... subbed
great vid Gunman I happily own number 3 on your list to think i own a gun that beats a SATA lol and i know why, i can buy 9 of these to 1 Sata 5000 in the end if youre a professional painter you will like a certain type of gun, an apprentice another , and a diy well the cheapest for the most part the FLG 5 meets the middle and its an awesome gun you can make money with and these days thats the important part. Thanks for the Great Videos this year Gunman cant wait for more from Thailand
I'll add my 5 cents: 1. DeVilbiss GTI Pro/Pro Lite - lightweight, easy to use. OK for normal everyday use, you don't have to care much about it, just grab and spray. Cheap. 2. SATA 3000/4000/5000 - not for everyone, more for experienced painters, not so easy to use -sometimes unexpected behavior, worse ergonomy at least for my palm, difficult to set it up, mainly the HVLP model. Expensive. Will withstand various acids, peroxide and other corrosive liquids. 3. any other.. Easiest to use - SATA 100 B RP Lignum - if you ruin a paintojob with this gun then better you stay away from spray painting for good :) With 1.7mm tip you can do the whole job from filler to topcoat. Not a car gun though, developed for furniture production. Best gun for beginners. It won't withstand chemicals as good as expensive SATAs, for example knobs will turn dull when exposed to corrosive chemicals. The body is still real bulletproof titanium/aluminium based material same as other SATA guns.
Hi Gunman, many thanks for all the cool content you have been putting up. Glad it all paid off in the end. Hope you are enjoying Thailand. I have been a few times and absolutely love it. I have a quick question with regards paint types. I an about to start the paint job on a classic mini, and am in a dilemma about whether or not to use 2K. I don't have access to an air fed mask. Is there a suitable filter system for 2K or am I resigned to using cellulose? many thanks George...
silly question gunman but with the devilbiss GPI can you put water based paint through it. just looking at painting my car and some stuff around the house with the same gun
what gun would you recommend as an all rounder? Would you recommend the Devilbiss GPI for this? I'm wanting to respray my engine bay, spoiler and front lip. (primer, base and gloss)
That's another good video and it helps I ask a question in your newest video and how much I would use the gun what do u think I should buy to do my 1934 ford thanks buddy dewayne

Never a bad investment if you ask me
I absolutely love my Tekna ProLite, easily the best I've ever owned and the versatility is just as you say.
Hi very good information thanks what is best spray gun cheap prices?
Im in the US and i love this gun. It definitely deserves 1st place. Thanks gunman..your awesome
i hope one day i have spray gun like that...nice spray gun...👍👍👍
well mr Gun man, I have been painting cars for 30 years, I love the no nonsense lingo ! I will send this vid to my apprentice lad and hopefully he will choose a decent gun with your advice in mind !! cheers :)) from the poms
Thanks mate, I actually updated this video, here's the link, it's more current. ruclips.net/video/GSnRx4jnQUE/видео.html

Hi how are you? I'm from Brazil.
I am buying a Devilbiss Tekna Prolite, I would like to know how many psi do you use on polyester base and on the varnish?
How many rotations of flow do you use in the adjustment, is the adjustment tightening or loosening the screw?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! I AM SO EXCITED TO START SPRAYING!!!
So how did it workout? From 3 years in the future.

Hope you can understand my situation and guide me in making the correct choice.
thank you,
Cheers.
So excited!!! Doing this when I start college. Can't wait !
I have not seen you mention Eastwood guns. I suspect they are all imports however you add them on your guns for beginners
Hi hope you don’t mind asking you a question I have a metal bracket painted silver can I over spray black gloss with out a primer
Thank you
Hi which of this gun it will be good for the primer??
I see you only recommended all of them for the clear coat
Thanks! I've been looking for a good gun.
Hands down.
Great video I have learned a lot from your videos and I have been doing this kind of work for 15 years in West Virginia USA I have a satajet 5000 hvlp but I'm going to get a tekna when I can get the extra money thanks for the great videos
if you have tried I would like your opinion on a devilbiss 670 plus gun been around for 10-15 years still available new. as I recall devilbiss came out with the GTI millennium and 670+ at the same time
hi gunman... have you tried the walcom guns. I have the slim S for 3 years now and I must say have never looked back as a bad gun.
I've been using a Binks 630 with various set ups for 41 years. They're an amazing gun
Yet to use a Binks apart from the old suction fed black guns still laying around, they are not common guns in Australia and think there's only 2 models sold.
I use the Binks 630 for Commercial vehicle refinishing. I don't go near cars any more unless I have the option of using 2K.
Terry Martin But you can't beat laying on a mad coat of clear, better than any drug I've ever had haha :-)
What gun do you recommend for base coat. And which one should I get for clear.
I love your channel .... seriously ... thank you for what you post here ....
Just bought the FLG5. Thanks for the review!
+knightryderbelow you should be impressed
Great Job, I have an Iwata Air Gunza and agree with you it is a good primer/sealer gun. I purchased two Devilbiss FLG5 guns, one for base coat the second for clear coat upon your recommendation. I used the FLG5 for clear and was surprised with a huge fan and applied the clear like glass. Thanks for recommendation on the FLG5.

Hey Gunny,
I had an issue with both FLG5 from Spray Guns Direct from the UK. Our good friend Chris from Sales and Devilbiss Rep Ian gave me pointers on the gun. Resolved the issue very quickly and a "Two Thumbs Up" Gunman Style to Spray Guns Direct and Devilbiss for great service.
Art Bolanos
+Arturo Bolanos hi, i bought this gun but still awaiting for its arrival. what seemed to be the problem with it?
hey gunman, I don't do cars, I mostly spray woods and I like car body acrylics. what is the difference between 1k and 2k when we talk spraying? do I need a different cap? I am using an inexpensive gun with a 1,4mm nozzle. works for my backyard projects and jerking around. I know 2k dry harder and are much better to wetsand and buff. is that true? thanks!
I personally really fell in love with the DevillBiss GTi Pro Base for base coats
Awesome video, my LJ Torana resto I am doing I can see the advantages of a mini gun. Cheers
I think the Sata rp should be #1 it is more durable and more easy to clean. Puts on more mills for my climate in Phx Arizona. Nice video 👍🏾
Thank you for your videos. I noticed you sometimes spray clear fast and in other videos considerably slower. Can you explain when I should spray faster or slower. Thanks from Bossier City , Louisiana USA
Very nice video. What gun would you recommend for helmet work only (priming and clear)?
I don't know many people or companies that donate spray guns. I'd buy one or two if I was you.
hello Gunman. if i wanted to spray in my garage whats the best way to get the cloud of overspray out ? thanks 4 your time
Very surprised to not see the SATA 5500 on here.

J
hey i just bought the devilbiss starting line set after using the really cheap no name guns for a while so could you give me some insight on what to expect between the starting line and the pro line so i can figure out if i should spend the extra $ for the pro line
Thanks for posting this and others over the Christmas period. Really enjoyed the time. Happy xmas.
Hi could you do a video on these guns how much they consume and the quality they give thanks
Sharp's were different and they had a unique feel and they looked kinda cool but it ended up being a $75 primer gun because to me, the most reliable and smooth tool I had was my DeVilbiss'
All of this to say, HOLY SHIT!! I am in love with that Eddie VanHallen "Frankenstein" design you got there!! If I would have had a gun like that growing up ...... Or even now for that matter! I gotta have it!! I'll be looking.
Great vid man! Thanks for the post. Like I said I've been doing auto body and custom paint since I was 14, I'm in my early 50's now and I do everything in my power to not touch any project
have you ever done a review on the graco-sharpe finex fx2000/fx3000 it's a cheap gun but it was good reviews I just want to know how it dose in a real shop and see how long it last
Brilliant video this guy noes his stuff well explained the gun I want was number one so I was pleased love it just got to save up now
Great video Gunman !!! Cheers ! : )
Thanks for the run down it has been a big help.
So, what minimum size compressor would you recommend to be used with these high quality guns?
i.e. the tank capacity, motor rating in HP, air delivery rate etc
I want to get the setup as a hobby thing but I'm kinda greedy for perfection too.
Your input will be highly appreciated. Thanks
Always liked your channel. I've been watching and looking for tips and tricks for fixing my car, wheels and such. Great job!
Great Video Thanks. What PSI do you use at the gun ?
You ever try a Sharpe Razor gun? Can be found used on fleabay for cheap. I like mine better than my Prolite. Like the prolite, it is modular- one cap swap stainless inards, one gun does it all.
It seems that Devilbiss FLG-5 is not produced anymore. Could you recommend something appropiate ?
I'm looking at buying the sgk 1.3mm for spraying a project car. Do U think this will be a good fun to lay base coat and gloss? Thanks. Love the vids mate very helpful as I'm about to attempt my first candy paint.
very nice i have the tekna and i love it...now i need to look that primer gun up
I hear the SGK 1.8mm is good for primer too so that's another option.
Thanks
Hey mate just a question when doing you body filler is it best to do it to bare metal or get there and apply epoxy primer to it first thanks mate
thanks bro...#1 the gunman For helping me choose my new Spray gun good video
i do. appreciate what. you. guys. are doing. keep. up the. good works
I'll add my 5 cents:
3. any other..
Easiest to use - SATA 100 B RP Lignum - if you ruin a paintojob with this gun then better you stay away from spray painting for good :)
With 1.7mm tip you can do the whole job from filler to topcoat.
I Love your videos . Have you tried the devilbiss gfg 670 plus? Thank you!
Is there a suitable filter system for 2K or am I resigned to using cellulose?
many thanks George...
which entry level gun would you recommend for motor cycle without a paint booth? Also should I consider a HVLP gun? thanks
silly question gunman but with the devilbiss GPI can you put water based paint through it. just looking at painting my car and some stuff around the house with the same gun
what gun would you recommend as an all rounder? Would you recommend the Devilbiss GPI for this?
I'm wanting to respray my engine bay, spoiler and front lip. (primer, base and gloss)
That's another good video and it helps I ask a question in your newest video and how much I would use the gun what do u think I should buy to do my 1934 ford thanks buddy dewayne
What gun do you recommend for a beginner for primer and base and clear??
Awesome videos! Do u have a video on laying down some metallic base coat? How do u avoid tigers strips?
Tighten your overlap!
Hi Gunman
Have any tips on leather spraying please
David
Nice job gunman am also a painter , am thinking about getting a gti pro lite , a heard its really good
It sure is, what gun are you currently using?
