I use to use all Walcom spray guns including their ego190 0.7mm for cerakote work I do. They were ok, the mini was great for 1 year then it failed and rebuild kits wouldn't get it to stop leaking air from the cap. I sold it along with the slim kombat and two Genesi 360 light guns i had and switched completely to Devilbiss DV1 gun. The DV1s mini 0.7mm for cerakote, the DV1-B, and DV1-C, and an Iwata Wider 4 1.8mm for surfacer/sealer. I havent looked back and I get a lot less over spray with the DV1 guns than I did with my Walcom HTE guns. Hell when I spray clear with the DV1-C I only spray at 9psi.
Thanks for making all of these videos I really enjoy watching and learning. I’m spraying with a Pro lite what set up would you recommend for spraying clear I plan to use Acme FC 720 . This will be my first base clear job I’ve been using single stage since I started painting my own projects in the late 80s. Thanks for any help you can provide!
@@andrelawrence9644 I know it’s 12 years old I rebuilt it every year and I can lay glass with it. I get 2 new dv1 guns and I’m using the Tekna I’m just old and set in my ways 😂
I'm only Apprentice & can't decide on a clear gun to use. I have a DV1 with C2+ cap & prolite with te20, te10 & te110 cap. Can't make up my mind with what to use...
If you want to do some more reviews on the "Sata 4600" or other Sagola products let us know!
