Ryan Hall and Max's channels have been working hard tracking these storms trying to keep people informed.
My husband and I survived the Minden, IA tornado on April 26. The generosity of fellow Americans was overwhelming. We lost one gentleman who died from his wounds while protecting his dear wife. Greenfield has suffered terribly. Whatever you can do to help the Greenfield survivors financially, materially and with your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
God protected many, many folks it seems. My heart is heavy for all the people impacted by this tornado disaster. Your courage and strength is amazing! God keep all of you in the coming days as you recuperate and support each other.
It’s so sad because after a day when another one hits I feel like these people are forgotten😢😢so sad. I can’t imagine looking at my home thats a pile of rubble.
It's just so surreal. So sad, thanks for sharing. We're in WI and had to take cover as well. Our NWS kept cutting into programming, as well as our favorite news station really teamed up to keep our area safe. Our windspeeds were clocked at 90mph.
In 2005, i was up in my bedroom oblivious, with a new baby, while my other children played outside. I had no internet, no weather radio, i was totally disconnected. A tornado went over my ridge and i only knew something was going on because suddenly the power was out and there were an unusual ammount of cars going by my home. Reason was the town a mile away got hit real bad by the Tornado and the roads were blocked! I was so upset. We had no basement and the thought if what i would have done if it had come my way haunted me. The next day i went to radio shack and bought a weather radio. A year later we moved to a house with a basement. That basement gives me such peace of mind in storms! Thanks for these videos. I love to see people being good humans, and this video showcases the best of humanity at the worst of times❤❤
5 deaths. 35 injured. EF4 with 185mph winds. At age 11, I went through my first tornado on a farm near where these tornadoes started. My 3 siblings and I were home alone. My youngest sibling was just an infant. This was 1984 when it was more acceptable to leave your kids home alone for a period of time. We were lucky. Our house had some minor damage but our farm took significant damage. And my dad watched it helplessly from a few miles away. I can still remember his yelling, practically screaming for us when he arrived. He couldn’t see our house because of all the trees around our farm so when he came up on an entire roof blocking the gravel road he thought it was our house. Scarred me for life
@@JonathanPetramala thank you for putting out their stories. It’s important to get this exposure to help them rebuild. It’s beyond sad to see so many of my fellow Iowans going through this. I’ve been in two other tornadoes since I was that little kid. I also have taken care of a storm chaser who was struck by lightning several years ago while he and his son were chasing here in Western Iowa. The hospital ER I worked at actually was in a tornado warning and we had a tornado/funnel above us at the time he was struck by lightning across town. We had our sliding doors sucked off their tracks, our ambulance doors wouldn’t open due to the suction and we literally had the mothership over the top of us. I watched it circulating when I came into work and had to speed to get to work only for it to create major havoc. The man survived. He had a lot of medical issues from it but I heard from him about 6 months later and he was making improvements. Keep telling the stories.
Prayers 🙏🏻 For all. It is difficult and overwhelming but know you will get through it. Take it one day at a time. My little town was hit twice, parent’s neighborhood was hit in 1991. We seen so many blessings of people coming together and helping, kindness, community compassion. Down the road from where my parent’s neighborhood was hit a mobile home park was hit. My husband and brother in law went to it with pipe wrenches to shut off gas lines. They helped dig a guy out with a 2x4 through him. They cleared a path to the ambulance, he survived! My own father didn’t want to go to my sister’s home but he finally gave in. A shard of glass about the size of a basketball, shaped like a triangle went through the center of his recliner where he would have been sitting from the picture window. We definitely have learned to take tornadoes seriously. The tornado in 1991 the Salvation Army treated my parents neighborhood very well with help, kindly people. Be kind to yourself and accept, the help you can get, but be careful of people that want to steal or take advantage of your situation. Just know you’re in a lot of peoples prayers.
Gosh. This crazy storm. Glad people are safe. Just proof of why I stay fit- should I need to save myself from this crazy weather! Hope everyone is safe.

California definitely has its own crazy weather and even at one point this year had more tornadoes than any other state, but it is good to share and show so we can hopefully have more empathy with other people, tornadoes in the Midwest, hurricanes in the south, fires and earthquakes out west
So incredibly sad. We put so much effort, resources, and heart into our HOME. Like the saying goes “home is where the heart is”. It’s such a loss. A loss for a long time.
Heart broken for you and your families. I’m so thrilled God hears every breath. He heard your wordless prayers.
How sad!!! My deepest condolences to everyone who have been affected by that tornado there.
I cried at the devastation these folks are going through. It’s hard to comprehend. I live in the Colorado mountains; so we don’t have natural disasters like this. Prayers for all.
I hope you get more views on this. Yours is the best yet. Imo thank you!!!
I really appreciate it! Please feel free to like and share!
Hugs from Fort Wayne, Indiana ❤
She said that was the first time in her life that she had ever Prayed. She said she only had time to say "Dear Lord" .... I believe that was enough. She is alive to tell her story. "THAT WAS ENOUGH"
I feel for all the families affected. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have family that live in Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee they have had to take shelter a couple of times this year. Ryan Hall and Max's channels have been working hard tracking these storms trying to keep people informed.
Very kind, thank you
The devastation is unfathomable. Prayers for the people of Greenfield.
Oh my. I’m just passing on both good thought and sympathies to these folks.
I am sorry for what you guys had to go through, definitely anything helps with at least the basic necessities
🙏🏻 for the people of Greenfield Iowa
Thank you for your effort to tell the story behind the scenes.
Absolutely, I think the stories of the people are more important than just showing the tornado or the destruction…it helps with perspective I believe
prayers for these families
Prayers go out to all of you😢
We are to be there for our brothers and sisters who are hurting
Where's the national guard?? 🤔🤨
God protected many, many folks it seems. My heart is heavy for all the people impacted by this tornado disaster. Your courage and strength is amazing! God keep all of you in the coming days as you recuperate and support each other.
May The Most High God bless our brothers and sisters
Well done coverage. Thank you
Much appreciated
Wow! Thanks Jon
Thank you
It’s so sad because after a day when another one hits I feel like these people are forgotten😢😢so sad. I can’t imagine looking at my home thats a pile of rubble.
Yes I mentioned that to Shae so they could set up the Gofundme quickly because sadly attention is tough to maintain
@@JonathanPetramala as active as 2024 has been, its normal. Ty for your reply. 🩷
Prayers from Australia 🇦🇺🙏
🙏
Prayers!❤
Prayers from Ok 🙏🙏🙏
Omg I live in AUSTRALIA how do people live in these areas , my heart breaks for you all .
Praying for restoration and healing for Iowa in Jesus name. God bless and keep you all. ❤😭🙏
It's just so surreal. So sad, thanks for sharing. We're in WI and had to take cover as well. Our NWS kept cutting into programming, as well as our favorite news station really teamed up to keep our area safe. Our windspeeds were clocked at 90mph.
Wow, those are very strong, I appreciate you watching!
Stay safe buddy good coverage, hope every one else could make it through ❤❤
It was sadly a deadly tornado, not everyone was able to make it to shelter in time
Sending Prayers 🙏🙏
Reed timber’s coverage was insane. I’d never seen 6+ subvortices until yesterday
Yes his video was incredible
Reed is insane!
I am so glad you have that now!
5 deaths. Scarred me for life
I can only imagine. Glad you guys made it
@@JonathanPetramala thank you for putting out their stories.
Wow, such a vivid memory. Thank you for sharing
😢 I hope people who have pets are able to find them too 😢 and any family heirlooms.
Unfortunately a lot of missing pets too, but often it just takes a little time and some food and water to find them
Praying for everyone....
The best storm reporting I've seen.
Thank you 🙏
Gosh. This crazy storm. Glad people are safe. Just proof of why I stay fit- should I need to save myself from this crazy weather! Hope everyone is safe.
thank you and God bless to the folks!
Same to you!
Mind blowing.
Agree
I have no words, except Thank you God for sparing those peoples lives!!!🙏🙏🙏
when she says - everything is destroyed - that wasnt hyperbole - EVERYTHING was destroyed.
It really was, that path was clear destruction
Vanished. It's going around.
The young woman with the baby. The debris still stuck to her nose. Serious lesson. When buying home in Iowa, never skip a basement.
Thankfully they had that basement and a friend and neighbor who was brave enough to get them in
Or storm cellar which I think are safer than basements I live in Iowa but more than 3 hour away from greenfield
This was good reporting, tho’ sooo sad! I am in tears. The people featured are so dear: I send love and prayers. ❤️🙏💕
🙏
Dear God in heavens have mercy on the people of Iowa ! Amen,!
Great Report! Great Photography!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️ Soooooooo Sad 😥
Thank you 🙏
It's awful so sad you just have to cry.GOD help you.
Excellent coverage. Well done.
Thank you
One of those homes was my cousins brother in law. He survived, because he was at work. Prayers for the entire town.
Wow, I am very glad he’s ok!
Thank You Lord for giving her the idea to pray! Lord thank You for sparing them!!
