Never thought a Japanese man fishing in the middle of the sea somewhere in Japan with little subtitles as a way to communicate with his English viewers would be so relaxing...calmly loving it
@@TheSighphiguy You're right, I just wasn't sure whether it was a big lake or sea, so I opted for saying middle of the sea instead of trying to explain his location since I'm well aware everyone else watching has eyes to see and a brain to figure that out for themselves.
I absolutely love the attitude of just rigging together two boats, pitching a tarp on it and going out in the pouring rain to fish all night. Never complaining when the fish slip away or when the bedding gets soaked. Just happy to be out and to have freedom and the excitement of fishing.
It is a rare sight seeing a Japanese man fishing in Japan. Usually, it's every other country's waters. But hey when you've already eaten all your fish why not start stealing everyone else's?
I'm from the deep South, USA, speak no Japanese & not a fisherwoman but I love these videos! Your willingness to create not only a place to fish from but also a way to camp out on the water while enjoying yourself brings me joy. And when you cook I am fascinated. It looks delicious. Thank you for sharing your relaxing adventures w/ us. May you continue to be Blessed in all that you do.
Thank you for the translations, I loved this video! It’s so good to see fishing videos from other countries, the different varieties of fish and equipment are fascinating. Love the grill and table, the food looked amazing. Beautifully done!
I have never been a big fan of watching people fish, even when they sometimes fish on the big RUclips channels that I watch, but I really did enjoy watching you fish. U let us see the play by play and had always had something to say. I cannot wait to see more. Happy Fishing! :)
I always go back to this video. I have watched this video maybe 4 times already. Please don't remove it as it is very relaxing to watch. Your videos are very fun!
i've got to get back to figuring interactions in an in depth way again, too. was driven retarded again by bad memories of people being senile and making no sense, like they didn't know how to learn from interactions enough to understand and not be driving people retarded by hampering them making changes by imposing concerns to misunderstand interactions in similar ways.
New subscriber just saying thank you for posting your adventures. I'm from the UK and a huge admirer of Japanese culture and the beautiful country that is Japan. Its my lifelong wish to visit and meet wonderful people like this chap.
I love boating, fishing, survival... but i would go crazy with that construction. but what i really love about it, is how chilled you are and how you're enjoying this! thank you for that nice edit!
Wow! This was something very interesting to watch. He he...I'm just an old grandma, but your video just make feel like I want to be like you...😂. Living freely, cooking and eating in the raft...very interesting.👍😍 Love from Malaysia. 🙏🇲🇾
I never thought in my life at 2:00 in the morning I would be watching a man that doesn't speak the same language catch fish and be so entertaining with subtitles that doesn't even make sense but i love it
I spent 2 months in the Philippines in 2018 (i am german) and i didn´t know the Japanese islands and coasts look somewhat similar to the Philippine islands. I would love to explore the more remote parts of Japan.
I think he liked having some water in them so when he caught a keeper he just dropped it in the boat with the water. Granted it's not salt water but I'm sure it's better than just throwing them in a dry boat.
Thank you for sharing your adventures. As for me, I am more like outdoor adventure. But, seeing this video I learned something from it. Thank you again!
This guy makes some of the best videos on RUclips. He's creative, resourceful, and such a bright disposition! With your fish hamburger, you could mix in an egg so it won't fall apart.
A good trick we use for Pike and other slippery fish is having a Nail or screw head protruding out of the wood. You push a small hole at the tail overtop of it and use it for leverage. Great on a tiny space!
Same with catfish, nail through jaw bone or, we used to nail them straight to a trees, cut around head and down spine, put skin off with pliers, then cut filets straight off
That lightning strike at 16:35 when you caught that pamo was epic ! It was like the heavens were reacting to your fishing abilities!! Stay safe..great content!
I love your construction and the number of fish you caught was amazing, they're all new species to me. You are inspiring, I was going to do the same years ago but with a large jetski with 2 vertical poles for a hammock setup. Now I will settle for shore fishing I think so we can just hike and fish and camp.
This was enjoyable to watch and you’re quite funny! When the big Pamo was on the hook and the lightning struck far off in the distance it looked really cool.
Great video. I love reading the captions! Recently, I came across your channel, and it is so relaxing to watch. I like your setup and enjoy all the things you do. Keep the videos coming!
Its amazing how much water the boats will hold before they sink. I'm sat here thinking surely you will be taking some water out soon or wake up sinking 😂❤️💛💚
A makeshift setup like that anywhere along the coast California is illegal. I wished I could do something like that along Catalina Island or any of our islands!
Love the vids as always and yeah, I also love the subtitles as well because they tend to say some of the goofiest stuff lmao.. " I love to catch big fish " " I'm very scared of toaster eating gummy bears " " I love squid too, it's quite fragrant and delicious but tends to make your eyeballs look like jelly doughnuts " " The puff is a good feeling, it's tight and delicious " ( lmao don't know where that came from but it's in the subtitles 26:56 )
What a setup. This could be a a permanent resource with you improving on the design and setup. Being part of your adventure was fun but fishing - catching fish - is only fun when I don't have to throw it back into the water. Thankyou for sharing.
BIC boat comes from a French company , the Baron Bich naturalised French , did is fortune selling ballpoint pen , razors , lighters and obviously boat, an avid sailor, he entered the “America cup” several times. Just love your show, respect of nature, good food and so much fun. Thank you.
Thank you for the adventures. The translation is sometimes funny ("I have a nice body" killed me), and I love it :D Btw you mentioned in the morning you drifted, the stone/anchor probably became too light in the water.
Just a suggestion Glory, maybe you can vlog some of the small towns in Canada. I'll be interested to watch this kind of vlog or towns that is located along the borders of US.
I sell videos for 1$. Thank you for supporting the video production costs!

Would you sell the raft for 10$? I needed for my interantional fishing group :o

This is a WILDMAN!!!!!! Pitch black fishing in the ocean.🤯😎Built Different!!
"I have a very beautiful body."
Lol the subtitles on this channel are always the best.
That one and a few others made me laugh, pretty funny stuff 😄
"The rod is getting amazing"
"the proper way to cook this is, well I don't know, but."
"It's tight and delicious" got me haha
This looks so peaceful. And the scenery in Japan looks beautiful. I love how you can camp on your boat

Fishing and cooking camping and boating, beautifully combined with gratitude and humility.... You're one of a kind, thanks for the video 🍀
While designing a flower arrangement, while watching your video, the sound of wind, rain and breathing harmoniously blend together and relax.
Loving the quality of your explanations, especially at 9:30. You really made this topic interesting

This video is both nerve-racking and relaxing at the same time 😂
Hell yeah never thought he can make it through with that boat set up😂
@@inigo6037 I wouldn't, those pontoons were taking on a lot of water but maybe a person half my weight 🤭
They're sealed kayaks and dingy, won't sink even if where you sit fills up with water.

I was wondering, what kind of survival raft setup would be good for an emergency scenario, such as a flood or your main boat sinking at sea?

Very impressive ingenuity with this creation. Bravo!

Cartopboater gives me so much every time i watch it. no matter english or japanese. i even do not like fishing but HE just calms my mind
I dont even like fishing, but how the heck have i came across a fishing video, and stayed here until it ended? Amazing content, keep up the work.
You need to find a small battery operated pump to clear the water in your boat(s). You might find it quite helpful. You have a nice little rig. 😎🤘
That’s what I was thinking to!
or take the scupper plugs out--these are self-bailing boats that float best with the scupper holes open
@@tonybarnes3858really? That would explain why he was so chill with his bilge having so much water in it.

I like it! Very creative, and such beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing😊👍
I love your video. Respect from USA 👊
this is one of the best videos i've seen in a while
For the eel, you just gut it, remove the head and slice it into chunks and cook it. You don't usually fillet it.
I've seen that in a video of an old England eel restaurant, sadly we don't jave eels here in Chile.
