Evaporation of tears with and without oil layer. Evaporative Dry Eyes.

Notice in 2 hours the cup on the right evaporated and the one on the left did not. The oil layer, as the oil layer of the tear film, prevent the evaporation. Impressive!!. If that layer is deficient, you get evaporative dry eye. This can be helped significantly by Lipiflow treatment.
