  • This genius carrier is both ultra lightweight and adjusts in width to cover an absolutely huge age range from approximately 9 months all the way through to roughly 4 years old and is weight tested from 8kg to a staggering 27kg (or 60lb).
Meaning that the Izmi Baby Toddler carrier is a great option for anyone whose baby is 9 months plus are looking for something that will last and last. Compared to many other toddler carriers on the market this is a really lightweight option, but due to very clever design also a really comfortable, supportive carrier for the wearer. Mainly due to a very supportive, very softly padded waistband that moulds perfectly to your body to give great weight distribution without loads of bulk. At the shoulders there is no padding at all, but instead wide spreadable fabric straps that mimic the feel of a wrap but without any of the tying. The straps can be worn crossed or rucksack style across parents' back and this carrier offers front, hip and back carries.
The fact it is so lightweight, and folds up so small means this carrier is a fabulous option for independent toddlers who are up and down alot and thus you end up carrying the sling empty as much as you actually use it. But when it is in use it offers great flexibility of use and fab comfort.
I have 2 of these in the library collection for hire, either to try before purchasing one of your own or to rent for an upcoming holiday or trip. And we retail these too - find them in the webshop.

Hello! Thanks for this! We are considering this for our holiday but it will be warm (30 degrees) and we ideally wanted to use it in its back carrying position. Is this comfortable for back wearing? Our son is around 18kg (only 2 years old but a big boy haha) Thanks!

It is comfortable for back carries although not everyone loves the feeling of the unpadded shoulder straps. It does come in a "breeze" mesh version that is fab for hot climates. Or another option that is light weight and cool but has slightly more padded shoulder straps is the Kahu Toddler
