No matter how many times I watch this movie, I don't remember what happens in this movie.
@Sayan Andrews Exactly.
SAME!!!!
I thought it was just me!!
deadhell304 same
It was pretty much a movie about him dealing with Vesper betraying him in Casino Royale, mixed with a plot about a guy trying to corner the market for governments
I really loved the realism of this. rather than laser beams and spaceships, this film captured the banality of actual power players. The villain of this film was not a deranged billionaire intent on seeing the world burn, but instead a calculated cabal of secondary world leaders. These people had enough power to be untouchable, but not so much that they were recognizable.
IMO that's the best point of the movie. Alongside Casino Royale, it shows Bond as a more realistic secret agent, fighting against some powefull yet realistic enemies
@@ramoncandido2433 Exactly. I wish they'd kept this level of realism in the later movies. It's what made this Bond special. Turning him into a third rate Batman fighting cartoon villains was a really bad move.
YES
@@harrysecombegroupie Naah I'm glad they returned to the original bond. If you want a realistic spy you have Jason Bourne
The Deep State is the real "Quantum".
Such an underrated film. Works so much better as the second half of Casino Royale than as a standalone movie. Didn't get that until a few years later when I watched them together. With a 3 year gap between films a lot of people missed that the opening scene of Quantum is a continuation of the final scene of Casino.
Yes, Quantum is Casino Royals part 2
It would have been a masterpiece (beside the editor let the pacing be a little bit longer and that one dumb extra didn't sweep air) if the last seen was not with Vespers former lover, but the execution of mr White just with a great dialogue like the opening credits in Casino Royale. A masterpiece 2nd part of a masterpiece film it could have been, just like the scene with mr White was filmed but deleted. It is the greatest butterfly effect, if the great idea of finishing mr White's story line in the end of the movie we would had Spectre and we would'nt had No Time To Die. NTTD I really like, but Spectre is far worse then QoS ever could have been.
“I wish i could set you free , but your prison is in there” awesome line to describe craigs bond!
@jamesk479 🤣🤣
Once you get promoted then you tell your haters that line and laugh out loud as you walk out of the building. Haha, best come back of all time.
@@KeepRolling1000 said the prison guard line
Anyone else love this movie and find it severely underrated?
Me ! :D
Liam Lazaroff me
It isn't underrated, it just got shadowed by it's predecessor and successor.
It is. It’s one of the better Craig Bond movies.
Me!! I thought this movie was excellent!! It was all Bond!
Oooo Quantum is behind everything. Two movies later, ooooo Spectre is behind everything, including Quantum!
AND NOW IT'S THE RUSSIANS BEHIND EVERYTHING!
ZanFear Quantum is Spectre
You know well who is behind everything.
Spectre and Bloberhauser didn't happen. It was Quantum. End of story.
Remy Steele well i like qos
Who's here after watching the trailer Of No Time To Die
newgoblin49 obviously me :)
got me
Desperate for attention....
Me duhh
Literally me 😂
Can't believe this is almost eleven years old. Time flies. I adore this movie. So many great memories and it's, in my opinion, Craig's best after Casino Royale. The two make an awesome double feature.
hey... What does Daniel Craig mean when he said to miss fields at the hotel room, "I can't find the stationary, will you come and help me look" in quantum of solace?
15 years now 💀
It's one of the best in the series imo. If the editing in a couple of places had been tighter and the theme song wasn't complete garbage, I think it would be looked at a lot more fondly than it is. We can only wonder would have happened if there hadn't been a hiatus and EON continued the Quantum storyline instead of ditching it to focus on Spectre.
The trailer is actually pretty representative for the movie it starts great and gets ok.
I disliked it when it first came out but now I think its a really solid entry.
I agree the ending is epic
hey people... What does Daniel Craig mean when he said to miss fields at the hotel room, "I can't find the stationary, will you come and help me look" in quantum of solace?
@@HaiderAliKhanIt's just a flat excuse to get her to his bed, it doesn't make any sense other than that.
7 years and this trailer still looks so good.
Cassino Royale - Awesome! Near perfection!
Quantum of Solace - Easily dismissed action flick.
Skyfall - Another awesome and great movie.
Spectre - The opening sequence... and that's all.
No time to die - if it follows the pattern, it should be another great Bond movie.
I actually think the Craig films were a downward slope. Spectre was the only one that wasn’t good
So, what did you think about the movie?
NTTD was great :D
And spectre gets more depressing when you realise it's the same team that made skyfall and somehow they missed the ball so badly
I can confirm no time to die is great
0:59 Hopper from Stranger Things.
And guy from Westworld who soon to become Commisioner Gordon
and Daniel Craig from skyfall
I thought it was better than spectre but it comes off as bad because its predecessor and successor were so good
Spectre was much better
@@houseofmatrix6174 Sorry but Spectre sucked. Quantum of solace wasn't that bad.
@@hellknight1338 The direction, the cinematography and the editing are enough to make it a really bad film
I actually liked the movie! watched it a lot. This is the movie where Bond finishes his past with Vesper. He also becomes more merciful and considerate in future movies. for example he lets the guy live at the end of Quantum of Solace even though he was the former lover of Vesper.
I think NTTD is where he really finished his past or forgave her in Matera. Ironically it didn't end well either...
Considering the writer's-strike-reveal, I'd say team-Bond cobbled to together a pretty damn good movie. Just rewatched it for the first time since its release and am surprised how well it has aged. Yes, the action edits are frustratingly choppy and the script is thin, but Craig's gritty performance and the ending both deliver. I have changed my mind about QoS
A massively underrated movie. The first five minutes stand as the best car chase I've ever seen. That's the START.
Wholeheartedly agree on both accounts. My second favorite Craig era 'Bond' -- just after 'Casino Royale' of course.
Everyone says this movie was not as well done as the rest of them- but I think this is wrong. This installment I thought was well done and had a good storyline and excellent scenes. The characters were great as well. Great movie - watch it - this is Bond!!
Am I the only one who loved this movie
Nope It's my fav bond film I don't get all the hate
Gobind Johal I like it because it's Daniel as the young and rough around the edges Bond from CR. Then they ruined him and made him over the hill and past his prime in Skyfall. Wtf?!
Tengo una nuvea teoria!
Me encantan etstas peliculas !
Esa es muy Buena que me gusta!
Quantum of Solace is fucking awesome! ☆☆☆☆
Underrated because it had more texture and was more stylishly directed than most Bond films. The trailer, however, cheats by making QoS look more action packed than it was. The violence was deliberately made short and sharp in this film, in opposition to most Bond fare. I still think it has the best ever Bond car chase and Bond hand-to-hand fight scene ever. Ending was weak though.
If you call aggressive amounts of shaky cam and rapidly cut editing stylish, you need to watch some more movies
I came all the way from No Time To Die official trailer to watch all other Craig's Bond movies trailer
My first viewing of a Bond film in theaters, I'm a fan now.
What I like most about the movie is the performance I get from Bond, M, Mathis, Felix, & Fields. It also relates to the best Bond movie ever!!
Daniel Craig is genuinely good in this. I love how angry and violent Bond gets in this film. He's just fuelled by pain and rage and vengeance. The character moments and Bond's emotional arc work well despite the mess of a plot.
Grossly underrated film
This movie was under rated!!!
QofS is one of the best movies. Enjoyed all the action and dramatic love story, which has gotten neglected sometimes in the new Bond movies... We need a lot of action back in the Bond movies...
Spectre had more action
This was a great story and entry into the continuing saga of stopping the world’s evil masterminds- it was well done!!!
The movie turns 10 today!
I like that it actually picks up after the previous film
Fast paced action, great scenery
Sucks Mathis does though
I wanted to see more Quantum though in later films
If you don’t watch Casino Royale first you’re gonna be very confused
This is what you get a raw, rustic and more action bond when you give the direction handle to a director with good creativity and no action movie experience history. Director : Mark Froster 🔥
While the overall movie is okay,
But the Opening 15 minutes are one of the Best in the franchise.
I actually prefer this movie to Spectre, and I actually think that they should’ve stuck with Quantum. They should’ve had Mr White as the villain in the fourth film, or maybe Largo before they skipped right to Blofeld, a rather half-assed one at that. Somehow I think that even Dominic Greene was better than Waltz
LOL idk why that zoom in at 2:04 is pretty funny to me
always bugs me about this movie that 007 never says "Bond, James Bond"
but the intro opening is what i always come back for
That line is not said in every Bond movie. In fact Lazenby and Brosan are the only ones to say it in all of their films (1 and 4 films respectively). Moore says it in all of his films save for The Man With the Golden Gun (6 out of 7 films). Dalton only says it in The Living Daylights (1 out of 2 films). And Connery surprisingly said it the least as he only said it in Dr. No and Goldfinger which is 2 out of 6 films or 3 if you count the unofficial Never Say Never again but I don't count it.
@@trueblue6201 Dalton says it in LTK, Moore says it twice in TMWTGG, and Connery says it in DAF
@White Chocolate It appears I owe a correction. The ones that skipped "Bond, James Bond" were From Russia with Love, Thunderball, and Quantum of Solace. I have to double check but I don't remember it being in No Time To Die either.
I’m watching all Daniel Craig James Bond movies for the first time so I’m watching this film on Friday OMG I’m excited
This was pretty good! Not seen it in ages. Miles better than no time to die!
Exactly Right!!
I'm pretty certain that, although a short story of this name is included in the Bond collection, 'For Your Eyes Only', the term 'Quantum Of Solace' is used originally by the author in a chapter of his book, 'Thrilling Cities'.
Er..that's all I've got.
Excellence. I love bond movies. Rewatching this again today.
I had a argument with someone about this movie Quantum of solace is a movie where James is a straight assassin in his actions because in casino Royale he lost the love of his life it was the only way for him to react
Tim Shaw bond was suddenly turning into jason bourne on this film
My All time favorite movie wonderful superb great. Daniel Craig
Even the trailer gives me motion sickness
Criminally underrated
Agreed and better than the two instalments that followed in my opinion. For one thing it is mercifully lean with no bloat and moves at a great pace.
the most underrated bond ever
Never understood why people dislike this film . Chase through the streets of Spain is amazing , The action is very good , the plot is actually pretty interesting (the access to clean water is actually a HUGE deal even though that seems ridicules to us in the “civilized” world ) and the ending assault on the hideout is VERY well done . Yes there are parts that could have been tightened up but it’s a much better film than spectre , no time to die , DAD , TWINE , or 90% of the Roger Moore bonds .
Its still an underrated movie!
Watched it yesterday....it was Good.
Considering the difficulties this movie faced, it turned out remarkably well and I have always liked it. A lot.
It also has my favourite Bond girl ever: Olga Kurylenko. And unlike a lot of Bond girls, she's actually kicked on. Rather than being the role she's known for, as it was its so many others, it is just another and she's absolutely magnetic.
Such an underrated film. Sure it's not as good as Casino Royale or Skyfall, but it's way better than Spectre and No Time to Die.
nice rating dude
no time to die is worst ending for 007 saga. i wish there is new agent
INSTEAD OF ABANDONING PART 1 , THIS MOVIE FLESHES IT OUT COMPLETELY. WELL DONE!
Magnífica película de acción y aventuras
“I don’t think the dead care about vengeance”
I really don’t get the dislike for the DC bond films...sounds like nostalgia is doing the thinking for these people...
They did do a worse job handling Spectre than the Connery’s, that for sure. They should’ve stuck with Quantum
A genuine film. Well done 👏.
The most forgotten Daniel Gerg James movie
Its an ok movie
I go to the school he went to as a kid rn and I live in the road he used to live on
November 2008
2:19 They should have use this same James Bond movie title design for No Time To Die.
Quantum had the best shot out in that opera restaurant !! when they dropped the sound showing people getting laid out it set the atmosphere !! Bond doing to much we didnt need the sound !! and we really didnt !!
Actually it was super sloppy and annoying because it could’ve been so much better
Love the first two with Daniel Craig
The Craig’s were best in the order they came out
@@maxfieldnuckels9075 Exactly. Casino was so awesome. Quantum could have been up there, but got botched by the writers' strike and a rushed schedule. Skyfall was where it all went wrong. They threw out what was established in the first two films and rebooted Bond as a second rate Batman fighting cartoon villains, which ruined it for me. The less said about Spectre the better.
Casino Royale is such an awesome film. It's one of the most entertaining and emotionally satisfying films I've ever seen. Casino-Quantum Bond is the best Bond ever! Despite it's glaring flaws, Quantum works well as a sequel to Casino Royale. It completes Bond's character arc from the first film in a way that's believable and satisfying to me. I don't know what they hell they were thinking with the later films though.
my dad was watching this and I looked up James Bond movies made after 2010 and found it. the fact that there's a 2020...

@@arielcantero3167 thats the biggest bullshit i have ever read lmao
I went to see this on Sunday, thinking that it would be the same amazing picture that was Casino Royale. Sadly, it wasn't. The film is a lot darker, focusing mainly on the character seeking "revenge" but was not the film I expected it to be. Only great dubbing made my evening, boxxy software is great!!!
I’m watching these bond trailers trying to remember if I’ve seen the film.. is it some type of hypnosis going on where you forget the movie as soon as it’s over???
Wow me too I have watched Skyfall, but I can't remember what it's about.
The fall at 1:22 - is it me or is there a practically identical shot in No Time to Die, during the Cuba sequence?
Daniel Craig, my best favorite James bond ever, no#1;-)
Quantum of Solace is a good film and turns into a more-action packed film with more explosions. It is a reinvention of Die Another Day for its far beyond explosions.
Lockdown effect to watch this movie..😊😊

Now I understand what was Mr White was trying to say we have people everywhere...
I finally see the trailer, it's good! With the music, the talks, the action! The lastest James Bond trailers are damn nice!! I like this movie. Not loved (cuz I already have a huge love for the film before), but like. That right! it was good. At least it was better than Skyfall.
Outstanding movie 🤔🤔
this movie was splendid
Daniel craig still looks like this 12 years later
James bond is back
Underrated af
1:14 what is this roblox sound? Lol
The Best Bond ever 😎
Okay, it's not in the same league as Skyfall and Casino, but it's eminently watchable. And considerably better than some of the Roger Moore films/ Pierce Brosnan films.
To be fair, watching paint dry is considerably better than some of the Moore and Brosnan films.
007
Does anybody know where I can find Bond theme that starts at 1:43?
Also curious, very badass sounding
The intro was great. That’s about it. The rest was so weak.
Its crazy how this movie has aged soo well.. first people didn’t like it but wen you go watch Skyfall & Specture then come back to Quantum man you will appreciate the call backs
Well done
I feel dumb I can't ever remember the story.
The plot was all over the place and incoherent so it's understandable.
After watching so many times I want to understand the logic of this movie and try to joint the starting and end of this movie
Iam with you what a load of crap.
Better than SPECTRE and NO TIME TO DIE
Best intro ever
Looks like James Bond's evil twin.
It’s not necessarily a bad movie, it’s just not the best bond film and certainly not the best of Daniel Craig’s run
1:01 - Hey, it’s Jim Hopper from “Stranger Things”
Spiderman should do something like this, an angry and emotionless Peter Parker, not because of a symbiote, because of emotion.
Trailer > Movie
when it comes to action sequences, like car chase gunfights and fistfights etc. Quantum of Solace is the best bond movie ever released. I repeat when look at this one aspect of the movie. I watched Skyfall and it had such a bad action scenes compared to the quality of those in QOS
hey people... What does Daniel Craig mean when he said to miss fields at the hotel room, "I can't find the stationary, will you come and help me look" in quantum of solace?
He is so badass on the bike and the opera scene is spectacular
I love the opera scene. And the axe fight was intense! This is a really underrated Bond film. It's certainly very flawed (due it a writers strike they never hade a proper script, and the editing is really bad in places), but the good parts make it so worth watching.
