Whatsup Gerb! Just wanna thank you for helping me convincing myself owning a civic is alright. @@TheGerbsteve Cool, thank you! Yeah the K20 does sound cool at 8K+ RPM lol, but I think the K24's extra torque would be more fun than the K20's higher redline for daily driving. Hopefully my 08 JDM K24A with the RBB2 head doesn't disappoint LOL

Love the build bro. But the k20 is still just as powerful with the right tuner and parts. I have exhaust cat delete intake and mounts and a hella tune and it pulls on 4.6 stangs and beat an Acura TL 3.7 the other night.
You know what? For $650. It was well worth it for the swap, even if you paid someone extra for installation. I personally wouldn’t have fiddled with it and just paid the higher cost of the 2012-2015 civic Si which already comes with the K24.....
It was, but honestly, I do love the 9th gens. And yes, the 9th gen comes with the k24z7, but my k24a has the “true” I vtec head. Doesn’t really matter too much, but the top end is sweet and I can make about 240hp with full bolt ons, dyno tune. 9th gens only seem to make it to 220hp max.
