I have owned so many cars in Florida that would not even be allowed to get registered due to inspection had I still lived in New York. It's crazy how the rules vary so much from state to state. I just pray Florida never gets emission testing.

I actually drove this car in college. My roommate owned one and I learned how to drive a stick shift with it. It handled well but was severely under-powered with the base engine. That car was amazing though and a lot of fun to drive. He did doughnuts in the parking lot in the winter with a lot of snow which was crazy fun. Enjoy that car, it is a blast to drive.
"Glued to the ground - impressive". In Hoovies world it's normal. Impressive would be glued to the ground with 4 hole sin engine, leaking rear diff and being THE CHEAPEST subaru in the states.
An old timer showed me that using Molykote 111 grease on rubber seals (such as door seals, t-top seals, etc.) will soften them back to factory and make them seal again. Try that to fix your water leaking window run channel and any other rubber seal on the body! I would apply it and let it sit overnight and wipe it off in the morning followed by a silicone spray, made everything like new again.
I remember Subaru's of that era were notorious for coolant leaks for a cheap gasket that was always located in a tight spot that sucked to access and required a lot of disassembly to even get to. @12:15 there is proof that a car has blinker fluid reservoir!

I have had 2 SVX's they are fun cars but they do have a few problems, the earlier models like 92 maybe up till 94 had weak transmissions, not really weak but not big enough for the car size, they were 4EAT models. Most Subarus "I have had 7 and still have 2" tend to leak oil on the exhaust and smell of burned oil. the rear wheel bearings are somewhat undersized too and they too tend to go bad more often than other cars. After you went and saw the first one you didn’t buy I saw one in person around here in Chicago. You don’t notice things until you see them in other places.
I always thought that window design was the craziest thing! That looks annoying from the interior to see the line in the glass where the window that rolls up and down meets the window that doesn't.
Kydos to you sir for knowing the original parent company name. Also the SVX was the first car to have its marketing deemed illegal due to claiming "this car will go so fast you'll lose your license". The lawmakers felt they were throwing the gauntlet toward anyone who would buy them.
I used to see a blue SVX around my neighborhood from time to time, but I live in the rust belt so either the rust got it or the owner just doesn't get it out as much anymore...or they traded it in for an SUV because that seems to be what 90% of people around here drive now.
