I JUST bought and received the A1 Mini on Saturday. Still love the printer, just hate my luck. Love the egg idea as well. Super creative! See you on Twitch!
Incredible printer that punches WAY above its price class. Absolutely insane value. Its hardware and capabilities are the absolute best, and that’s not even taking in to account its incredible software experience, remote management, and mobile app. Best time to be a beginner in 3D printing is RIGHT NOW.
I'm entering the 3D printing business, and the price cut on the A1 Mini is a good incentive to buy one. I want to make some multi-color prints, and it's really tempting.
Thats a great price!! Now the hard part, buy the A1 Mini with the AMS Lite or wait for the A1 with the AMS Lite in May! Already have a Prusa Mini+ that I use to print only PLA/PETG & and 2 Sovol SV06s in enclosures to print PLA/PETG/ASA/ABS. Planning to only print PLA & PETG on either the A1 Mini or A1 using the AMS Lite.
I just ordered two more for our print farm. At 269 Euro it is just the best value you can get, especially for our products which all fit the build plate. Also, the AMS lite fits spools better than the normal AMS without modifications.
I bought the A1 Mini to supplement my P1S about 3 weeks before they reduced the price. Last week I got an email from Bambu Lab and they gave me $50 to use in their store. It was totally unsolicited. Bambu Lab has treated me very well.
Got a sort familiar, though it came from my side shortly after buying it (request, not asking is no by default), the x1c got a 150 dollar discount; it was on black friday If I can recall, got also instore credits which was nice from them! Basically they owed me nothing. So that gesture was really nice of them.
I'm considering my first 3D printer with a $500 CAD budget, drawing from my experience with a Prusa MK3 at university. I'm technically inclined, preferring 3D printing over frequent maintenance (70/30 split). My choices are the Creality Ender 3 V3, Ender 3 V3 KE, and Bambu Labs A1 with/without AMS. I'm attracted to multi-color printing and pondering if I should wait for Creality's potential multi-filament system or choose another model. The A1 mini's bed size is a drawback, and I'm hesitant to wait for the A1's regular version. Open to recommendations, given the vast array of options. Additionally, I've recently become a fan of your videos and hope for your advice, despite not being sure you'll respond.
Just saw the price change this morning on Microcenter's website. Thought it was a sale, seeing it's a perminant price drop is amazing, Bambu Lab is just taking everyone's lunch money with this. This makes even the humble Ender 3 the humble value king for low cost entry into 3d printing a bad value unless you absolutely need the bigger build volume. The only thing holding Bambu Lab back is their closed ecosystem. But for turnkey solutions they just locked in the W with this. I think I'm getting an A1 mini as a birthday gift for myself soon.
The egg is a great idea and what a great idea to make it safely crack open! Great job Van! $249 for the A1-Mini is incredible!!! Talk about making 3d printing attainable for everyone!!!
I'm in the market for my first 3d printer, and woke up today to an eBay alert that Anker dropped the price on the M5 to $309. One has to wonder if it is response to this news. I'll see you on Friday for sure!
I can build tough boxes on mine, just have to do it in two separate prints, plus you can cut parts and add joiners, guess it depends on what you are wanting to print.
I totally get it! It seems small, but 90% or more of the things we print fit on a 7” build plate. I honestly feel everyone should have one, and if you end up printing larger things every once in a while, a second more specific printer could be gotten at any time.
Oh come on! I just bought it at 299 two weeks ago! That said, I'm really glad I did. My anycubic K2M needs constant calibration. The A1M one just works while not blowing up my electricity bill that much.
I received my P1S combo about two weeks ago. I have not stopped printing! It would be so awesome if there was a swiper that could clear the plate and print the next file 😂. The Bambu Handy app is beyond convenient. I must stop myself from heading over to Bambu labs and purchasing the A1…. Or maybe I need just one more printer 😂
@@LoyalMosesIt really is. My wife wasn't even into 3d printing when I had my ender 3 pro, but I honestly think she likes this little printer more than me lol When the full size A1 comes back in stock, I'm buying one and the mini goes to her. 🙂

I personally think this is a strategy for when they bring the regular A1 back. They probably will sell it at a low price to people to buy it. I can't wait to get one!
I asked them directly, they are very clear on their strategy, it has nothing to do with the A1, they are focused on bringing new people, especially beginners into their ecosystem.
i like the idea of the easter eggs, but my only problem is that they are pretty wastefull, you can only use them one time and after cracking them open you can't use them again (even if it's not that much plastic)

Eggcellent!
Haha! 💜
Great news, but on the Bambu Lab EU website, it's listed at €432.60 😕 Is this price reduction only for the US market?
It should be worldwide!
that's the price with the AMS lite, the A1 mini by itself is 269 euro atm. :)
@@bioworm666 Ah yes! Thanks for that clarification 👍
i like the idea of the easter eggs, but my only problem is that they are pretty wastefull, you can only use them one time and after cracking them open you can't use them again (even if it's not that much plastic)
Yup! I mentioned that in the video, that there are other options if you want reusable! 💜
for my first 3d printer should i get Original Ender 3 or Bambu Lab a1 Mini?
If you have the budget. The mini is a superior printer.
your son has my sub. and man guess my next pay im broke to get the a1 combo. that's an awesome price. oh and gooniesneversaydie80 is in the house.. haha.. obviously being a loyal fan to the loyal man..
Thank you! That is awesome.
