Second Rodanthe house collapses into the ocean - Video by Don Bowers

A second unoccupied home has collapsed along the oceanfront in Rodanthe as of 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, per multiple reports. The home was located at 24265 Ocean Drive, and was adjacent to a home that collapsed overnight at 24235 Ocean Drive. Video by Don Bowers.

What a bad idea. The town should get the house out of the ocean, who wants to swim with the wood and nails!

Actually, the home's owner is responsible for cleaning up the debris. I'm sure that's costly.

@@JOSH3183 I keep hearing how the town has volunteers to help clean up, they are very frustrated. The houses were built too close to the ocean.
