I am 0% feeling bad for these people and their houses because when they chose live there, they think that they are the it people living by the ocean and everyone else will admired their fortunes but at the end, God drown them into the depth.
How dumb is it that homes like that should cost millions of dollars. They should be extremely cheap! A home that close shouldn't be costing anymore than 20 grand!
everyone is so concerned with the NATIONAL seashore , protecting its indigenous birds and sea turtle nesting sites, however the state allows these homes to fall into the sea and litter the shores. destroying these nesting sites and making beach access impossible and unsafe. the homeowners should be made to remove the derelict homes before this happens. there was time to do this. at the very least the state should pay to remove it and then bill the homeowners for restitution.
Let’s ALL sit in the dark freezing or sweating, hungry, unarmed, afraid and wearing sack cloth so that people who built too close to water can pretend that we are making a difference!!
