"so I bought a plane ticket and came to vegas" hahahaha Im dying
Hahahaha awsome storey. He said "at first I did noting, but after that phone call, I booked it" hahaha
Dana White: Conor McGregor changed my bum life
How much is a last second plane ticket?
someone should play this interview for the 'brain dead' fanboys on sopranos channels and other mob video channels who think there is something good about mobsters. they are cowardly parasites, who form into groups to prey on people who are naïve enough to think they don't need to be prepared to defend themselves if they are proprietors of a business.
sopranos shows mafia as the stupid scumbags they are
Shut up
I'm waiting for the interviewer to say *ive gotta return some video tapes*
I wish one of the uploads would be the full episode, or Graham did a podcast. He does the best interviews.
It shows how the mob hurts the economy of a town. People leave and take opportunities for the residents with them.
when some people leave a place, other people come in. thats how the world works.
Soooo, he ran back to Vegas and that's it...End of story? The mob didn't try to track him down or anything like that? Damn, such an exciting story.
Track down for 2500 dollars ? you kidding me ? If he did not pay and did not run, they would fuck him up, but he ran away. He left his business, so technically he even was not a subject for shakedown from that moment. You can not shake down some nobody who is in another city already and who owes nothing.
And then Dana and Conor lived happily ever after
Lol it's funny how there fetita brothers are from a mob family
exactly, he went to a bigger mob family for protection
he never said how he dealt with his debt. I would like to know if they have talked since then. im sure at some point dana wasn't rich enough for full time bodyguards.
Like all immigrants they worked hard so their kids would not have to shoot people and end up buried in a cornfield.
Probably the reason why Dana is save in Vegas lol
Fertitta brothers have no mob connections
how many points they chargin since you 20 yrs late on the payment ??
It fascinates me how on any interview of a successful person there is hate in the comments... Jealous much?
How come every criticism is called "hate" by people like you. I criticize people a lot, of which Im neither "jealous" of, nor "hate".
@@WorldWideMarket _"How come every criticism is called "hate" by people like you"_
How come every time someone says there's hate in the comments, there's a chance people like u will say: "every criticism's called hate by people like u"
He says “I’m 19, I’m not working any more”.
The Frittata Family is the Family to fear 😱 😂😪😂😭😂
Which munnie? The one is Southie?
Sounds to me like dana was taking bets on fights, Jimmy bulger got wind, Kevin paid a visit for a cut....dana said, ahhh, f this im better off with bets in vegas....
Dana White is the epitome of a storyteller that doesn't even need a campfire.
A next day flight to vegas would probably cost you a grand
bdemar2k12 Just looked up a one way from dallas for tomorrow.. $179
Back then probably about 4 or 500
Not in the 80s
We're talking about the Late 80's dawg flights weren't as expensive
So basically, it's because of Whitey Buldger that we have UFC. Crazy.
So wait. He easily skipped out on oweing some mobsters by flying away and it was that simple? They just let him be???
He simply "owed" street tax.. aka extortion. Basically, he was given two choices: Pay or leave town.
He did not owe anything - a simple concept you do not get.
Can someone explain who the fertitta brothers are because Im lost and i keep seeing there names pop up in the comments 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
That's some scary shit. Dana's a smart dude with a lot of experience to share
And a professional line in cooking socks..
classical example of how the mob and organised crime pushes out business punishes innovators and causes a cycle of misery
look Dana not a coward he. a smart enough guy worth millions now,!!
He's not exactly a picture of gallantry either, money don't change that.
He also wouldn't be where he is if he hadn't got massive help from the Fertita bros.
Billions*
The MOB: "Dana, 25 G'S BABYYYY! By the end of tommorow"
There's more to that story Dana.
prove it. go ahead, prove it. the burden isnt on him to prove it, YOUR the one saying theres more to the story. alright then, prove it. good luck with that.
Then he met a bigger mob who could wipe those mob off the floor. The great Lorenzo Fertitta
That's a weird way of spelling Chael Sonnen
@@iBreakAnkles4Fun haha
More like protect him. For a few Ofcourse. 50% of his UFC. Or whatever way they work it out
Little did he know, that skill or running away and avoiding payment would come in very handy later on.
I didn't do anything, i wasn't going out of my way to try to bump into them again ???
Buys a plane ticket to las vegas....
Whitey wound up buying socks from the dollar store before they caught him LoL
Dana tries so hard to act tough. dude, you're a promoter. you're not a fighter. you never were. you never will be. cut the tough guy act.
How much was his plane ticket?
Uh huh right.
If this guy told me the sky was blue I'd look up.
Mike Fallopian yeah Dana is a total bullshitter
Mike Fallopian on September 10th and actually the 11th in 2001 guess who The Most Wanted Man by Law Enforcement was??
It was the man Dana references as “Whitey”.
James “Whitey” Bulger in real life made Jack Nicholson in “The Departed” look like a Disney character. Dana mentions “Kevin Weeks”. So “look up” this, because yeah there were some scary people running Southie at the time. Feel free to watch the video:

@@chrisconley8583 ...uh, yeah, thanks dimwit but I've heard of Whitey Bulger.
@@mikefallopian3191 it took you a year to come up with that retort, I think my wits are quite fine compared to yours.
Alternate title: Dana White: I ignored the mob and got away with it, it really didn’t change anything.
