Hi chef Jack! I like the intro style, I just think it reveals too many steps of the recipe, and also the transitions could be a little smoother. Also, my favourite soup is zucchini cream soup
That is my kind of soup. I will be make my this in SW Iowa for my family. My grandson works in Thai restaurant. We are growing a lot of Thai ingredients this year for the owner. I do so enjoy your videos.
This one had me sceptical as I'm not a fan of squash. After watching I have changed my mind and am gonna give it a shot. Looks very heart warming for winter.
Such a comforting soup recipe....I can have this cold in the summer heat for hot on a rainy day.... awesome ingredients.... Thank you my fav Chef Jack... You rock as always.... Loads of love and blessings.... take care dear and stay safe 💕💕💕💕
Hey Ross! My best suggestion would be Gaganis brothers in Hindmarsh. It’s a street away from Adelaide United’s stadium 😊. I can’t guarantee they have them but they usually have all those products 😊
Aw this looks so yummy! Thanks for the recipe...so gonna try it. I love the oldie but a goodie chicken noodle soup. I even love the book "chicken soup for the soul" lol more soup recipes pls 😊
Brilliant idea Jack, I love pumpkin soup and this variation is just the thing to help us through the cold in Adelaide South Australia. Its going on the menu planner this week 😀. Any other winter warmer soups, stews, casserole or curry idea's would be great and I do like the new style of video 👍.
Fantastic video Jack. Can I ask, what are your thoughts on microwaving pumpkin first for a few minutes to help get the peel off? It seems a little difficult for me lol even with a U shaped peeler. If you dont think thats a good idea, do you have any tricks for peeling?
Hey Joseph, you could always split the squash in half length wise, scoop out the seeds and roast the squash (cut side down) in the oven. When the squash is tender let it cool and scoop it out of the “shell”. I found this easier than trying to peel the thing.
Hey Joseph! Personally I wouldn’t do that I’d use either a peeler of a knife and simply slice off the flesh. Like Rob has said, roasting it whole with the skin still intact is another great method. It makes it very easy to work with 😊
Hi Jack, I'd like to make this soup but I only have frozen minced lemongrass. Do you think I could use that and if so how much? Thanks for your response LOL from France 🥰
Hello Jack. I'm a bit new to cooking and there was a question I just left on your tomato Basil pasta recipe.. would really appreciate if you can check that out 🙏
@@ChefJackOvens Appreciate the reply! I wanted to ask that as for olive oil should I use an EVOO or a light cooking one? Seeing that you cooked the tomatoes for about 20 minutes would the EVOO run the risk of getting burnt? Which one do you personally use?
@@ChefJackOvens I'm a bit new to learning cooking so would really appreciate the reply, loved the video you posted. PS- The questions being asked in reference to the Tomato Basil pasta video.
Let me know what you think of the new intro style! Which is your favourite soup or dish for those cold and rainy days?

Any substitute for the coconut milk. Looking for low cholesterol options.
You can use just stock and no coconut cream if you prefer too.
