You never disappoint with your videos Jordan. My husband loved Alan Ladd in “Shane”. Love seeing Jah racing around the dog park and drinking from the fountain. He’s almost human. Thank you for all that you do to brighten our lives. ❤️🙏🏻🐕‍🦺🌈

WOW Never knew this about Alan Ladd. So happy he found a lady who loved and supported him. Thank you for this ! When you were talking about your car I was thinking 'o I've got my fingers crossed for you". I had wheel hub bearings just put on my vehicle. Thank you also for showing the architecture of these homes. I do love that also !

Just have to say, them more I watch you with Jah, the more I see why I have been told having a pet can alleviate depression/anxiety. It's almost impossible to find places that allow dogs in my area, although I have found some allowing cats. I love them both so... ANYWAY. It's amazing (and a bit encouraging) how many stars really came from nothing and made a Something out of their lives. Thanks again for showing all the great artwork that is thrown about your city.

I think there is a certain amount of charm to that small building. I'd love to have either a coffee shop or a tea shop in that place!

I knew a bout Alans life from reading his biographiy but to see the actual building he owned and worked in including the pool opposite where he was a lifeguard gave me such a thrill. Shame the shop wasn't open I would love to see the inside. Perhaps go again Jordan when it is Thank you it was great. I still adore Alan Ladd so extraordinarily handsome and a good actor with a beautiful body. He was also a very decent and nice human being. Gone much too soon.

Spent many hours in the swimming pool and went to the elementary school right behind that hamburger stand, Walter Reed Jr. High and North Hollywood High also. Never heard any of these stories! Really enjoyed this.

Excellent vlog! You know I love the nostalgia, which will assimilate more profoundly than all the glitz and glamor. What a success story! Alan's strong work ethic bore him all the fruit of such a prolific career. At a premature age the poignancy of his father's demise, Alan worked to contribute to the household. Firebug! I can empathize at 5 my brother (6) and I lit the house on fire. He tried to smoke my sleeping parents pot pipe for Saturday morning cartoons while I ( guess its safe to say now lmho), lit a tapestry draped over my mom's new birthday gifted wing-back chair on fire! Grounded forever.lol. Alan was an aspiring olympian and even when he was injured he reinvented himself as an actor for ten years before fortune and fame. I actually ended my award-winning competition body-building career in much the same manner. All the while he ran "Tiny's Patio" and was a lifeguard. I toured as a professional drummer "the Assmen " at CBGB's et al. Now after having my left ulna cleanly severed in a machete attack I am the only one who sings and plays "You shook me all night long" AC/DC on guitar on RUclips among other select tunes. Never too late to reinvent yourself. Van Gogh was 27 years old when he painted his first painting. Sorry I took all the space I'm too garrulous. Great vlog as always ! New camera is fantastic! Maybe wind-guard for mic? Jah-valanche!!!

Loved this one very much! What a story for such a tragic background -I think not only his childhood but how his mum died- and Alan Ladd turned it around ! Remarkable! I love that he is remembered in that plaque! He deserves it!

So many of your videos start by walking Jah at Hollywood Park. Back in 1981 myself and all of my Hollywood H.S. friends used to play Hacky Sack and Ultimate Frisbee at that very park after we graduated just to keep in touch with each other. There were no fences at all and certainly not that may cars parked there. They did have the picnic benches and cover. Several years earlier me and other friends used to skateboarded in many of the swimming pools in the homes nearby that were basically 2nd homes for a lot of rich people that emptied them in the winter time when they didn't use them or live in the homes. My favorite hamburger joint in all of time was the Sunset Grill that Don Henley wrote about. It still exist today but, not any where near what it used to be since 1947 or 48.

The information you gather is so enlightening. I do not have cable tv or internet. (Only on my cell) Just watched Shane for the 10th time. Lol I will never see Alan the same way after this. It's so very sad to know how he struggled. Seems a lot of Old Hollywood had a lot of tradgic history. Thanks, Jordan. Love everything you do. ❤

Great vlog Jordan. I enjoyed the insight there with Alan Ladd. Of course, I knew who he was, and while he was a leading actor, for some reason, he didn't really resonate. It could be the whole western scene, which I never really got into, or could relate. Anyhow, that was pretty interesting about Tiny's Patio. Talk about humble beginnings, not to mention that Easter Egg you found out of the blue at the bus stop. What are the odds.... How awesome was that. Devine if you ask me.... That was pretty tragic regarding his mother's death. I couldn't imagine.... Well, on to the next vlog. I got behind of most recent, so I need to check out the one from the day before. Take care Jordan, and I'll see you tomorrow.... Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA. 🙂

Your becoming quite the raconteur. You should check out "The History Guys" channel. He deals with all types of history including some Hollywood stories. He is a Master Storyteller. I believe you would like his content. Keep up the great work, I alway liked Alan Ladd from his movies and his "Box 13" Radio show. Was not aware of the tough and tragic life he had but he sure appears to have been a fighter. His story would not be wasted on some of our so-called celebrities and politicians that grew-up with silver spoons in their mouths and somehow think they are "The Greatest Ever".
