Thanks man. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it. One of the greatest movies of all time to me too. Wish someone could clear up the culvert mystery for us all. New theory. I think when they built the parking lot for the newer zoo it changed a lot of the roads in the area specifically that tunnel. Just another guess tho.
I hope The Terminator fans and everyone else too enjoys this video! This is by far the most time, mileage, and passion I’ve ever put into 1 video. I love what I do and I love The Terminator! Much ahead! Thanks for watching! Tampa Jay at instagram.com/tampajay
I just told my husband that you sure did put a lot of time, research & love into this video. We really appreciate your dedication to your viewers. We are both elderly, so the chance of us actually going to these locations is very slim. Thank you for going for us! ❤️❤️❤️
Loved the video, I was hoping you had visited the deleted scene where Sara called her mom on the payphone, which was also the location where Friday The 13th Part 3 was filmed at Harold and Edna's store. There was a nice stream of water near there in the scene that would have been nice to see. Hopefully you will do a Friday The 13th Part 3 filming locations video at some point. You put a lot of hard work and gave a lot of great details in the locations. Thanks so much.
Back in 1984 , I was 15 years old and my parents owned the Tower Theater in Roseville, CA. and we had this movie in our theater for 2 weeks. I watched this movie twice a day for that entire time and this movie is my all time favorite! If you saw this movie back in 84, you'll understand how powerful it was.
I saw it not too long ago in the theatre. It was re-released. Some movies 🎬 are meant to be seen on the big screen. In a lot of ways, it's better than the sequel.
I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years and scoured Griffith Park for that tunnel. No exaggeration, this video had me on the absolute edge of my seat. I hope Tunnel 3 is the one. But also, in a sick way, I hope all of us spend the rest of our lives searching for it. The ultimate mystery!!!!
You have absolutely outdone yourself here! This is the best filming location on RUclips hands-down! The attention to detail is absolutely insane! You should get an Oscar for this!
That’s a huge compliment that I really appreciate! Thanks so much for watching. I loved and enjoyed seeing those spots in the real. I’m happy you enjoyed it :)
I've been thinking of buying the nike vandals that Michael wore in the film, but they're really expensive at £1000 a pair. I'm wondering if I should hold off in case nike retro them for the films 40th anniversary.
Completely forgot about that. I've been assuming for years that we'd get a 4k release for its 40th anniversary. I'm sure I read somewhere that the remaster they did in 2014 or 2015 was done in 4k, so it's already done if that's true. They just need to release it.
I’ve been a fan of The Terminator since I was a kid. I’m 40 now. I get the same excitement you showed in this video when you’d arrive to some of these locations. Thanks a lot for doing this. Outstanding job.
@ 40:13 I had no intentions on posting anything until you mentioned Newberry.. Every nostalgic light in my brain lit up like Christmas. Great store. Great times. I really miss California.

For years a lot of RUclipsrs never visited Littlerock(gas station scene) or mentioned it when visiting terminator locations, it was always overlooked. Glad to see it’s getting recognition!
Hey, I'm writing to you from Argentina. First time in your channel and I got to say xcellent video man! I watched it from start to finish, I really enjoyed it so I thank you for taking the time to film it and share it. It's really amazing to see what the locations where the scenes were filmed are like today and how little they've changed in all these years, continuing the excellent work.
man! I'm a hardcore Terminator fan and also I have visited many places, but have never seen as accurate video as this. THANKS FOR YOUR JOB and congratulation!
This was VERY well done. And in my opinion is now the top terminator location review on RUclips. Would love to see more of these. Also like how you put the movie screenshot in the present day shot - don’t think I’ve seen that done before and I think is a much better way to do before and after instead of cutting back and forth which makes it hard to see all the fine details that have changed… also love how extensive these videos are in length - I know most have short attention spans, but these are historical and a lot of the locations may not be around much longer as the years go on… lol I’m a nerd, but again AWESOME WORK.
I think you got the right tunnel. Looks identical, and the only reason it looks smaller in the movie is the perspective and probably the camera lense they were using. Looks spot on the money.

Jay, I love your videos - especially your adventures with Cris to Ruby Falls and the state parks/ attractions in Florida and the video of you, Adam and Jacob at the state fair put a smile on my face - but you knocked it out of the park with this one! You must have done a lot of preparation and research for this. You put so much of your heart and soul into each and every one of your videos and that is conveyed to all of us viewers. You remind us how much you sincerely appreciate us. Please know we appreciate you too! You have impacted our lives for the better, and we are fortunate to consider you a friend in that way. eXCELLENT WORK Bro!!!! Thank you so much for all the time you took to go in fine details. Also, how better quality filming today makes the place look cleaner, nicer than back in1984. Also, night time vs daytime makes a huge difference.
I live in scotland and I've never been abroad, so watching these gives goosebumps. Thanks for sharing. The amount of details you got is incredible, hopefully you do karate kid 1984.

I am new to this Channel, but man I dig it! You are doing a great job my man, and I will spread the word!
Thank you happy to hear you’re enjoying the channel!
This was amazing! Thank you for posting this!
Hey Dude, I really like what you do. I'm obsessed with Terminator and was nerding out seeing all these locations. I'm currently drawing for my own T3 story and this video may come in really handy.
This video is absolutely incredible!!! The amount of work is unparalleled. You deserve to get paid by the studio or put on a special edition.
Thank you I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it
@@TampaJay ive only watched a quarter of it, looking forward to watching the rest tonight with a bag of popcorn 😄 once the kids go to bed
You lift our spirits. Take care.

55:55 This was the same location where the City Deposit scene in Beverley Hills Cop II was filmed where Axel Foley shouts “Hey! Sound the alarm you got a break in!”
Incredible research, thank you so much!
Thank you
wow, what a meticulous work u've done. thank you very much. very insightful. that was spot on (kinda pun intended)!
Thank you
eXCELLENT WORK Bro!!!!
Thank you
This is for me the best filming location from the Terminator i've seen so far! Thank you so much for going that extra mile!
Terminator 1 and 2 is also my favorite and no matter how much i've watched it is still the best! It brings also allot of nostalgia for me🥰💖💖💖🔥🔥💯
