Today I start the first vlog. Explainations, introductions, and a field trip to Clark gables house, the birthplace of 'Thriller', and terror twilight. Jordan, your down to earth and unpretentious presentation style is refreshing and I enjoy your videos. Jah is adorable, he cracks me up! I love old Hollywood glamour. My Mom was born in the 1920's, so she grew up with it, and I can remember as a child and teens at home with my Mom watching old movies. Both of us enjoyed watching Shelly Winters. Good job on your first vlog!

Just saw your video yesterday of you getting your new home. I've seen the majority of your videos from suggestions from RUclips but I decided to check out the older ones just to see how different your process is now compared to back then. Jordan, you've busted your butt and did what a lot of folks couldn't do. Thank you so much for all of your hard work with researching, driving/traveling to all of these locations and sharing your life. You've made some awesome life long friendships with people who truly respect your work which created a rapport to get some really awesome tours. There were some earlier videos that made me sad for what you were going through (the whole photographer issue really got to me, I've been through things myself when I'd lose money when I couldn't afford to.) Me too Daryl. I picked out the ones I wanted to view first, then thought I would simply start at the beginning and "enjoy" my way through them.
The most interesting thing i would have loved you to spend more time on is the friendship with shelly. Especially now that shes gone how did you become friends with her? Did she tell you about Marilyn Monroe and so many questions i have my goodness. She was hollywood royalty. Wish you could spend more time on her. Maybe do a tribute at her grave and house and tell more. She must know oif Marilyn had an affair with the President. Lol
Daze with Jordan the Lion - just watched your 1st vlog for the first time... after watching so many recent vlogs. But I just realized what you really need... a DRONE. Especially for what you do, it would probably kick your channel up a notch.

Wow! I finally watched ALL of your videos! I started from the newest one and worked my way backwards! Can I just say that you have truly helped me during this time in my life. I lost my Mom a few months back and to be honest.. I could barely leave my house from depression. Since watching your channel and Gods grace.. I got a full time job that I love and I’m out in public again. I still miss her and some days are better then others but I truly want to Thank you! Maybe you don’t realize that your vlogs and personality are truly helping people like myself just make it through the day! You and Jah are in my prayers my friend! God bless! 🧡

I finally found your first vlog! Back in about April, 1961, I was at a slumber party at my friend Lindsay Atwater's house on Hayvenhurst Ave., about a block from Gable's house on Petit Street. We drove by there, but I honestly don't remember what we could see, if anything. Lindsay lived in a classic, rambling, rustic one-story ranch house, the kind that that used to be all over the San Fernando Valley. That house is probably gone now. What I do remember is in those days, Du Par's Restaurant was on the southwest corner of Petit and Ventura Blvd. Shelley Winters details that night with Flynn and Gable in her first memoir, "Shelley Also Known As Shirley." (You probably already know this.) Yvonne De Carlo claimed that that night never happened. Oh well, Shelley, however you remembered it. My favorite part of her book was her description of her Brooklyn childhood.
And you are still on your journey and going strong. Well deserved! Thanks for all your adventures.

Hi Jordan. Just saw this, your first vlog. I want to tell you something about Clark G and Carol Lombard that I accidentally found. I used to drive old Route 66 cuz it's so much fun to see and experience. West of Kingman, AZ, Route 66 winds up over the Oatman pass. Hairpin turns and donkeys and such. Nestled near the top is Oatman. So a friend and I scowered the stores and the old jail and the Oatman Hotel. Well, Clark Gable and Carol Lombard snuck off one night and drove to Las Vegas to get married. Then they slipped out of town and drove up to Oatman. Their wedding night was spent at the Oatman Hotel. We went in and went upstairs to see the room they spent their wedding night in. Clark signed the guest book just like everyone else did and it was on display there. The room is closed and has a window in the door so you can see in the room. it's a fun visit to that little place. Google Oatman up and see if it's all still there. Also, back in the late sixties I toured MGM and they took us up to Clark's dressing room and I stood in his shower LOL! Also they had all the bungalows fixed up as the stars had them. They had Joan Crawfords which we got to tour....glamorous is an understatement.

Clark Gable & Carole Lombard were married in Kingman AZ. & honeymooned in Oatman, AZ.

I worked a block from that Gelson’s in the early nineties and walked to it for lunch almost every day for the salad bar. I saw Robert Urich in the aisles one day and Annette Funicello with a cane at the checkstand.

Took me awhile to get all the way back to where you started to find out your origins. Wow you have done alot since. My mother was born in the Hollywood area and grew up in a house on McCadden st. It used to be a very nice area and I have fond memories of visiting gradma there up til my teen years, therefore I know quite a bit about Hollywood and its history. I no longer live in California so its nice to see that area again. Was shopping with grandma at Safeway as a child and remember seeing Bob Barker buying a bottle of liquor and saw other famous people doing ordinary things when visiting her.
