    I would love a feature in which users can flip the stereo image of the overheads.
    So currently we have drummers perspective but to have the ability to make it audience perspective would be pretty cool.
    It might just be a me thing but I like to record / mix from an audience perspective rather then a performers perspective. - just my two pence tho.
    Look forward to picking this up when I can :)

    • @mlsoundlab
      @mlsoundlab  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the comment - this isn't something we're actively considering, but it is something that's come up a few times. Typically, the audience won't really care about the perspective of the kit, unless they're a drummer, and drummers will want to hear things in drummer's perspective so that they can air drum along to it. It could also make for a pretty jarring experience if you're hitting a cymbal on the left side of your screen and have it come out the right monitor.
      That's not to say it'll never happen, just that it's currently not on our list of things we'd like to implement.

    I would love to have a mini china and a floor tom on the left as well, I feel is stereo image is leaning a bit to the right side for grooves with a lot of toms and/or china cymbals.
    Also it is a trend to have a tom on the left as well, it gives a nice stereo image when combined with palm muted guitars.
    I love Krimh Drums for having this 3rd floor tom on the left and thus a more balanced stereo image when playing various grooves, I wish you could do the same.

  • @leandro86br

    I have all the ML drums so far, but grit is the best because of the room mic. It's huge.
    and that's what makes a good snare sound. Great room. That said, I don't see reason to buy another pack that does not have that great room of the grit pack.
    So my sugestion is to create a pack of snares recorded in that same room or any other great sounding room.

    I have all you're expansions and live however can you split the tracks in the DAW? Otherwise it's gonna be hard to beat other library companies. I use studio one btw.
    Also as a bit of extra feedback it would be sick if you added another tab for a side snare, especially because you have the room for it on the gui. Then id really go nuts with ml drums. Otherwise i have to load 2 instances and use twice the processor for 1 kit 😢
    Live to the plugin though

    • @mlsoundlab
      @mlsoundlab  5 месяцев назад +1

      You can split the tracks out! In Studio One, open up your mixer, select Show Instrument Rack, then expand ML Drums - click and drag down each of the checkboxes and it'll route them all out to separate channels.
      What were you referring to with the snare sidestick? A separate fader/blend knob on the snare channel for sidestick volume?
      -Kai

    • @jordansimm9189
      @jordansimm9189 5 месяцев назад

      @mlsoundlab so with the space on the left hand side of the hh you could add a side snare. Then you could load up 2 snares and be able to play them separately. So for example I'm a drummer and producer and I've been using the mixwave luke Holland kit because I like the use of a side snare but I prefer your samples so it would be sick if you put a side snare in and let us used all the snares in all the packs so we can mix and match.

      I got the idea of simply providing impulse responses of the room response for each studio room mic position.
      I am a Toontrack guy through and through, but mixing drum parts from different packs is a pain in the butt.
      The thing is... a studio is a studio because the acoustics are unique and they won't give away this in a few dollar IR pack, unfortunately.
