      What do you mean finally? There have been many free drum samples/plugins before this, not to mention this sounds a lot like one of the other free plugins, in the beginning I could swear I was hearing the same samples even.

    Sounds really good! I think it takes time to build solid drum software…as in it becomes exponentially better as more stuff is added/grown. Not an easy task with so many factors involved in drum styles and sounds. I am deeply invested in Toontrack, and Superior/EZ Drummer are just the bomb, to me. But I will keep an eye on this because I’m very impressed with how ML Sound Labs approaches everything they’ve done so far. I hope they take their time and emphasize quality over quantity - even if it’s little by little. That’s what would sell me on it.

    Very refreshing to see a paid version costing less than 100 and having a free kit too to try. There’s not that many options at that price range and will be a bit more brand loyal to this if good - tried the free ik multimedia kit and the snare is hideous…

    The free version is more of a demo as it won’t play the file I created, faithfully because it’s not a full set. If we were to talk about a truly free set, that would be donation ware, Power Drum Kit. I’d consider buying ML if it became comparable to PDK. The former has a good sound but lacks in features.

  • @IDGAF_PLUS
    @IDGAF_PLUS 2 года назад

    I'm clueless on this stuff. How do you program the drums into a song that sounds cool? I don't play drums. I've never played drums. I wouldn't really know what to play without trying to copy something someone else has done. And that would take a ton of trial and error.

    • @calebshepherd8480
      @calebshepherd8480 2 года назад

      Something that has helped me is programming drum covers of different songs. It will help you as a non-drummer to train your ear and get hands on experience with what the professionals would do, and you’ll pick up your own style along the way as you learn how a drummer thinks. Might be worth a shot. Hope this helps!
