All of those trucks look great from what I can see. That one your doing is a nice original truck. I like the old bull nose Ford, well I like all the old Fords, (honestly, and the old Dodge and Chevy trucks of course) .
I'm not a Ford Fan but These Bull and Bricknose Trucks are getting to be a popular build because they are the last of the "affordable" Classic trucks. You can't even look at a Squarebody Chevy, Dent side Ford or a Frog Face Dodge (72-93) Roller for under 10 grand meanwhile you can find a Bull or Brick Nose Ford and drive the d@mn thing home for under 3 grand.
@@joshlorusso3751 And that's my point, You aren't finding a Squarebody Chevy, Dentside Ford or Frog Face Dodge for $1800 and IF you do find one it's either a Roller that's in in pieces or it's rusted to shit and half missing. I just bought an 80 F100 for $1200 and drove it home, Yes it has some surface rust and the interior is shot but I live in Arizona, everything older than 10 years old is that way.
Nice truck them trucks are good trucks I have 6 Ford trucks I have some videos of my trucks on my channel.. your truck will be really nice when you get it all done an fixed up the way you want it... If the truck haves a V6 3.8l in it. The truck with the 3.8 is rare. I see it have the 4Speed trans manual it have the 9-inch rear end.. and in that year it has two different lug pattern he could have the 4.5 on 5 lug or the 5.5 5 lug pattern a smaller lug pattern that makes it lil more rare. Can we be able to bolt the mustang rims on the truck and LTD wheels on it.. I would love to see someore videos of the truck..
Thanks! I am very familiar with these trucks. I’ve had several. Mine is only 4900 gvw, so it has the small 5x4.5 wheels. I’ve already toyed with putting the mags off my 95 gt mustang on it. They fit ok but weren’t quite what I was after, so I kept the stock wheels and went with hub caps. And this one is the 300 in line 6. I’ve only seen a few with the 3.8. Those are rare indeed.
@@michaelhungate7506 I think it was only available for a couple years around 83 or so. I’ve seen exactly 2 in my life; and I’ve seen a bunch of old ford trucks.

Sage green interior. Love it. Same as my 81
I think it's a fantastic truck.
Can’t wait to see more! Keep it up.

That’s pretty cool. I like a patina look.
Looks good, I'm a patina guy as well. I would like to see the whole truck shined up.
Thanks! I hope to do some more tomorrow. Been a crazy week but I hope to get back on it this weekend. Stay tuned!
2 Ford dentsides close to each other is a rare site these days.
Flood penetrol works great over patina.
That's the red oxide primer under the paint, u scrubed the paint off the hood.
Well, it might be red oxide primer, but it wasn’t factory. The factory green paint was under that red primer.

That would look great on that truck love to see it when you put them wheels on it...
What year did they have the 3.8 in the Ford trucks? I just never knew that. Very interesting.
