  • "It’s a pretty important product for us. The speed at which the boat travels now, and the fact that the cockpit is fully enclosed are important factors for protection, but we don’t always have the best visibility and scenarios. Any pre-warning we can get is a massive plus. It seems there are more and more things floating in the ocean unfortunately, so anything to help us avoid that is a huge benefit." Jack Bouttell, Crew Member of 11th Hour Racing
    What is SEA.AI?
SEA.AI‘s Advanced Assistance Systems provide enhanced situational awareness and surveillance capabilities for recreational yachts, commercial vessels, first responders, and government vessels.
Whether ships, boats or even unsignalled craft, floating obstacles, buoys, and persons overboard: SEA.AI systems reliably detect and identify objects on the water surface, including those that escape conventional systems such as Radar or AIS.

On-board camera systems autonomously process images and display safety-relevant data on an intuitive user-interface. Intelligent alarming helps crews to make informed decisions.
SEA.AI combines lowlight and thermal cameras with artificial intelligence. Using latest Machine Vision technology, best-in-class deep learning capabilities and an ever-growing proprietary database of millions of annotated marine objects, SEA.AI provides the most comprehensive digital understanding of the vessel’s surface surroundings.

100% of the IMOCA fleet on the Ocean Race were equipped. On thing for sure, SEA.AI cannot stear the boat yet 😉
