Speaking as a contractor, you should start a business designing and building these for people. You are very talented. You could sell you water features to DIYers who want to creat their own spaces too.
Thanks! It’s something I’ve considered.
I second that idea!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
@@travisjantzer 😱DAMN that is SO FLIPPING AWESOME !
Where did you say you live ? (kidding) I want 1 in my yard.
Lucky brother and his family, great gift a water feature and pond.
What a great vision you have, I'll bet your brother and his fam love this.
Great video, well done. Hope you do a follow up when the garden is done. Glad to see you and your family are doing well. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪.
Thanks so much! I think I will do a follow up :)
Where is the follow-up?
wow beautiful water feature! also that's so amazing that you found that hollow tree.
Best & most impressive DIY water feature I’ve seen on YT. Travis, you’re a very talented & intelligent guy!

Thanks I appreciate it, I wish the same for you.
Simply gorgeous. Hope it provides hours of fun for the family
I really like this feature. Any chance of seeing it now with the landscaping done and the cover grown in? Would also like to see how the log has held up and changed over the years.
Your imaginative creations are just so so amazing... Keep at it 👍🏻
Thanks you!
That log is awesome ❤
Really cool that you did this for your brother and his family!
Thanks! They love it :)
Gorgeous !!!
That turned out awesome. What a great idea. I will be in the look out for materials that we can create something similar. Thanks for posting.
Beautiful!
OMG! The way the water comes down from the log is just breathtaking. Amazing!!!
Thank you!
Great job and beautiful project. Any chance of getting an update on this feature with a current video?
Very well done .

Nice of you to leave it up to them, considering it’s there house
yea and they're still going through some major construction. I didnt want more landscaping to get in their way.
Absolutely gorgeous!😍❤

Wow, just WOW 😂
lol :) thanks
Great with the log!
thanks!
Very cool 👍🏻
Beautiful...such vision
:)
I wish you were my brother! This is awesome.
Lol thanks!
I have started my own pond. Thanks for the motivation👍✌.
❤ your work!!! And Best of success keep it up.
Good luck! If you finish it send me a picture on instagram @travis.jantzer , I'd love to see it!
You are a real artist and a craftsman! Bravo to your talents! Please consider a DIY E-design for people that can't visualize it in their yard. I would love a design from you! If possible, may I send pictures of the area and get a design back from you for whatever your fee would be? I hope to have your waterfall in my yard before the year ends.
Thanks! Glad you like my work. I’ve actually thought about that. I love landscape design. I’m not sure where I would do that though. Maybe on Fivver or a similar platform?
Very beautiful good idea.
Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Omg 😳 wow! I love it! Wish I had it ❤️🌿🇦🇺
😅
Have watched many of your videos. Love the content and your creativity, one thing that I haven't seen/ heard is the pumps that you use. Please consider adding this info.
I enjoyed this video and thought this project was cool. So I then like the video and subscribed.
Lol nice!
So cool! I’m finally getting ready to redo a pond I started 15 years ago that I stalled out on. 😆When I researched ponds on RUclips, I didn’t expect to find a local from the Jantzer clan! Great job, Travis! The plumbing is what throws me the most. Have you ever done a bog filter? Think I’m going to try that for our small pond.
Thats crazy! Glad you like my work! I have never done a bog filter. The plumbing is daunting but not super difficult to figure out.
So jealous 😍😍😍! I need a natural looking woodland fountain/waterfall like this....I've been looking for something similar that would match my land in the Poconos of Pennsylvania.
You have talent.
thank you.
Smokin👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Drippin
lol

Very pretty, talented young man.
You are so kind.
Beautiful another Kudos to you A+
Thanks man!
really cool well done !
Thank you! Cheers!
I want that log!!
well thats too bad. Its one of a kind. haha ;)
Nice work and this got my subscribe. I would like to see a follow up once the final landscaping is in. Did you have to treat the log with any water proofer or sealant. Seems like the moisture will eventually progress the rot but would take many years. Overall awesome idea and nice execution on the design.
Thanks! I didn’t treat the log at all. I think we’ll get several years out of it and then I’ll put something else in its place. I will try and do a follow up video.
I am going to attempt this as well what kind of pump do you use?
Looks fantastic, and what a beautiful tree trunk to use. Your videos are great, inspiring and easy to watch with none of that jerky camera editing and crappy YouToons muzak - keep up the good work... I can't believe this isn't your day job!
Thank you very much! I know im hoping if my channel grows this can be my day job. but we'll see.
nice work
thanks
Great work. I’m in Southern WA and could use your help. Lol
Can you do more explaining when it comes to pumps and foam
Thanks! I explained the foam a bit in my latest Creek video. I’m planning on making a Pump video soon.
Man your amazing at what you do! Wish you lived in Texas I would love to get a water feature done by you! 💯🔥
I really wish! Maybe if my channel grows I can travel for RUclips projects. You’re not the first to say it. Would be fun.
@@travisjantzer well when it gets to that point and I know it will, let me know I would love to be the first one on the list lol 🙏🏼💯
Mate... The World is flat 😁 Sub SG best car ever 😁
? lol
@@travisjantzer Subaru mate. SG best Forester ever.
How is the pump supplied with power? I didn't see any power cords.
At the time I recorded this it was just on an extension cord. They’re gonna run an underground power line to an outdoor outlet near the pond to power the pump and some lights near their garden.
Would love a follow up to see this after it's had a chance to mature.
Planning on it :)
I was wondering if you thought about using a sealer on the inside of the log? My thinking is with the amount of water running through the log that it may tend to rot faster than normal and I would hate to see that part of your water feature crumble away prematurely.
On the contrary rot needs oxygen and once the log is soaked through the rot will be very slow. It’s more likely to rot on the backside from bugs and mud getting washed onto it.
How long before the wood rots out? And will that impact it?
hopefully once its waterloggled it wont rot as fast. I figure I'll get several years out of it and then replace it.
Did you put concrete IN the log to avoid it washing and decaying away? Super nice feature.
No, It'll get waterlogged which might actually help preserve it. When it erodes I'll replace it.
@@travisjantzer Thanks for the response...nice work!
Wow! Nice work. Do you travel?😄
I wish!
So where is the pump?
down in the pond at the deepest point.
You should use some spray foam in a can to glue rocks together.
I did.
when can you come by to build one for me?
i wish!
Waters to muddy and plants to plain don't like it needs better landscaping
i acknowledge that in the video.. lol
GET RID of the cats tail - you will regret planting that - but after two years a guess you allready know that by now!
Beautiful!
Thanks!
