    We are getting ready to build a 35 foot creek and have never done this before. I am so glad we seen your video. I’ve got lots of great pointers from it. Thank you.

    I've only seen 2 of your videos, but so far I'm a big fan. I appreciate the low-cost, simple, natural approach. I have a question as a newcomer to this whole field - what were the milk crates for?

    Thank you. If you were doing again, would you use something other than the milk crates. Maybe a sump pump basin? They are more expensive, but def cheaper than the premade basins.

    Those leaks you were referring to, maybe try getting a tamper and tamp it down before laying the liner or lay down a few inches of gravel under the liner, then tamp it to prevent settling.

    How would you clean this? I am making something very similar to this and wondering how you clean this? I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much for your videos and how to create something so beautiful and cheap.

    I’d love it a lot more if you come to my home and help me set up a waterfall with a long creek and large pond. I got the property for it and the property slopes too. Wish I could do most it myself, but my health issues makes it difficult to take on these labor intensive projects these days. But I’ve always dreamed of having a nice waterfalls , creek and pond on my property. I do have one area where I get a lot of run off from the rain that I could dig out enough for the water to build up in. Which I may do one of these days after I get my tractor and back hoe. Too tired of digging by hand with a shovel, especially with clay soil! Done enough digging just digging a 2 ft deep trench 350ft long to run water pipe to my garden. That clay soil like concrete when it’s dry in the middle of summer! Digging a large pond be even harder I’m sure! But who knows, maybe one day I’ll start digging with my shovel anyway and see how far I get digging a pond?

    Thanks for the video. Did you use garden cloth over the crates? Seemed like you had some there to prevent too much dirt and debris from entering the basin while you were building, but did you keep it there? Thanks in advance.

    Nice feature. What thickness of liner do you use? I have a dog and i am worried that his nails will puncture the liner. What would you do in my case?

    • @travisjantzer
      @travisjantzer  2 года назад +1

      If you're worried about a dog you should go with the thickest liner you can find, and also use the weed or road cloth to protect it. better safe than sorry.
