LOVEBITES is very intense and catchy, and there is a lot of passion and happiness❗️Fami's shining smile and the strongest speed gallop❗️Miyako's jump and steps are very precious🎸Haruna's focus scene and drum solo play🥁Asami's perfect vocals and intense dance🎤Midori's The costume also has a strong point on the shoulders❗️& perfect tanning 💪🏾(Lol)•••There is nothing negative about these songs❗️I was waiting for a song like this‼️✨🤘😎✨
The first time I listened to it, I had no idea what to expect. No idea what direction they would go. After listening to it many times, it has really grown on me, and I liked it the first time I heard it. I am okay with whatever they want to do. Because everything they do is top-tier. 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼
Yes I experienced the same thing 🤔 First I thought it was more radio friendly, but then I realized how crazy this song actually is. There is a lot happening in "Unchained" and that is a "TOP LOVEBITES GUN" 😉
"Theme song " is an interesting point of view and yes, I could totally see it included in an action or adventure movie! But for me, it's mostly an audience-participation song, where everybody can sing along on top of his lungs! I think that kind of song is needed between more complicated and elaborated ones like Soldier Stand Solitarily and more brutal ones like Dissonance. So they did well ! 👍 (and bonus: I love seeing Miyako dancing and bouncing on this one!)
You nailed it with the radio friendly feel. It's still 100% Lovebites with no compromise. The formula is still there. I like the song as they did it. No way would I drop the last 15 seconds.
Hello Joel, thanks for your reaction. I do like this song, still listening to it, and it seems very familiar in many ways. It's got some "Don't bite the dust" with a little bit of "Golden Destination" in it. The Bass and drums are absolutely freaking fantastic on this one. The Fami Bass really came out and Haruna is right there with her. The guitars are out of this world and all over the place. After many listens, I think this is not my favorite Lovebites track, even though I like it, it's one of those weird things that doesn't really blow me a way like their more pure Power/Thrash metal tracks do. I still don't know what to think other than they may be trying to make a more radio friendly song, I guess. After hearing this song so many times in the last day & a half, I feel an urge to go listen to more of their amazing bangers just to clear my mind. All I can say is it is strange how you can make an amazing song with amazing technicality, but adding too much of a radio friendly hook and repeated chorus seems a little bit unnecessary to me. This song has a lot of potential with many elements, so I'll leave it at that and enjoy it for what it is, because so much of it is so amazing.
Catchy hook. Nice break down. It won't be pushing any songs out of my LOVEBITES top 10, but I liked it ... but then I haven't heard a song from LOVEBITES that I didn't like.
This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solo. At the same time, it's got a catchy hook to make this an awesome LIVE song in the making. You'll have an even greater appreciation of this song if you understand the historical context of it. Hint : "Lovebites EP II" is essentially the sequel to their first ever EP "The Lovebites EP"
LOVEBITES - Unchained lyrics: Open your eyes and you can see place you’ve imagined for so long High above, it’s there, accelerating heartbeat Get ready, ready, set, go Somewhere in this unclear day, you & I we all know this for sure Reaching out to catching the ticket to this one way road journey Nothing is there without meaning No going back, it’s always one chance in your life Don’t beg for another chance! The grey-out world will start to colour Don’t think, feel!! Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want The future we dreamed of is waiting far beyond Be Free Anywhere you want Anywhere you want This beat of my heart as a guidance, finding signal of blaze light Heading straight no matter how the track is steep and narrow, moving on Everything has its “meant to be” There’s no impossible for us as long as if you believe in me We will shine like nobody else Don’t think, feel!! loved it instantly when it dropped , had the same feeling bout the ending 1st time around that was gone by the 3rd round and after 3 days of having that song on heavy rotation i heard soooo much hidden lovebites awesomeness that i wouldn´t change a single note or beat
It's definitely a reminiscence to their very first OMV "Don't Bite The Dust". That song was the opener for their debut EP "The LOVEBITES EP", "Unchained" is the EP opener for "LOVEBITES EP II". We know LOVEBITES, this is not a coincidence! Some other guy mentioned "Golden Destination", not sure, if I agree. Maybe. But I see also parallels to "We The United" (fun song to push a big crowd), but the audience response would be more intensive than "Raise Some Hell". This repetitive "Anywhere you want" is darn catchy, you can't get than out of your head! This song definitely grows on me, while my first listen failed to find something special that would overwhelm me (well, actually, the premiere crashed my PC, that was unfortunate; I suspect, it was the fast chat!)... The energy is adorable, and the hops from Asami and Miyako (also the playing of the other members) reminded me of the European tour! They are, again, better than last year, compare this to 2023! We as fans are lacking behind, we just got 2 live videos, that were almost a year old!
I love that gallop man. I think they've tried to make a lead single with a catchy hook to see if they can catch a wider audience... not sure it will work. Anyways I am happy they make a song like this one of their singles, if they keep using their power metal songs people will think that's the only thing they do.
it's a radio friendly song.....when there was radio or when it was important.....now it's a friendly song for everyone......the chorus if you hear it 1-2 times it sticks in your head in a good way..........and I think live with the guitars up front it will be a different song ......
This song really surprised me, really like it!! Their heavier songs are usually my favorites, but i also do like their softer songs and this one is fantastic!! Thanks Joel! 🤘🔥
For LOVEBITES it does feel like an evolutionary track. It's grabbing me harder from the second listen. It is a kind of softer metal, or rock, or maybe even pop. It has some sounds that I haven't heard from LOVEBITES before, I'm not really sure if that is a totally new guitar tone or maybe a kind of keyboard tone with effects going on. I do prefer the previous stuff also as for now, without meaning to say this is bad in any way, which I don't think it is. The positive vibe to it, not to mention the positive lyrics, reminds me of Stand and deliver. (I ran out of it:s)
Hello mate, I.watched the premier of this, and for some reason I cannot get it out of my head, even when I was doing some plastering in a house on Saturday, I was humming it an the lady there asked me what was I humming I told and showed the vid on YT and she agreed it was catchy.
thank you, as usual, for your reaction.😊 imho. sure, it's have maiden vibes in it. kind of reminds me, "bring your daughter to the slaughter." the 2nd single of 2nd album of maiden. luv it! 😊😊❤❤
I think they might consider making a radio edit, cut a little bit fat here and there. And if Asami's lyrics were actually comprehensible, there'd be no limit to the success of this song if they were to get noticed by someone with media clout. If that were to happen, in their place I would rerecord the vocals with an eye to good enunciation. That hook is fantastic, and this could indeed be a theme song for something, I don't know, a movie about motorbike racing or suchlike.
Asami's come a long way in this regard, but yeah...she's still very difficult to understand. I don't like watching music videos with subtitles on, either (it kind of ruins what the director was trying to do with the actual imagery), so that's not really an option.
I sometimes wonder why LOVEBITES hasn't yet achieved global fame with their god level musicianship. There are probably a few reasons, but one of them I suspect is Asami's strong accent / poor English enunciation makes them less accessible to Western audiences.
@@1970Phoenix I do not know, I think even for English and US singers it is often hard to hear the lyrics. But sure, it is not easy to hear what Asami sings.

@@1970Phoenix That doesn't make any sense to me, when people are perfectly happy to listen to Babymetal or Band Maid where they can't understand any lyrics.
I think Miyako composed this to take advantage of Asami's background in soul. It's all over the song, especially in the choruses. They haven't commented that I know of but musically it seems hard to miss. That is partly why it sounds so "different" from their other stuff. I'd love to see them experiment with more ideas like this.
My problem is that I don’t have good enough music listening ears to appreciate a lot of Japanese metal. Everything is so fast and frenetic, I somehow just can’t keep up. Even though I know, objectively, it is good music played by skilled musicians. BabyMetal and BandMaid fall into the same category. Even though with BandMaid, I often give their new music a try, because I find their lead guitarist and other band members to have a very charismatic on stage personalities-very enjoyable to watch.

The red Background was also in Don't Bite The Dust MV I agree with you it had that feel.
He probably compared it to Golden Destination because of the bass gallop.

Cool song, different but cool. Sounds a little bit neo-classical like Stratovarius with the keytar/synth.
Solid song. Sounds theme like. Not my favorite from them. I love their heavier, harder, and thrashier stuff better.

Sometimes producers need a vacation. Asami’s voice sounded compressed, not nearly as good as in live shows.
I think the track is not mastered well, I don't think it's Asamis voice.
I hope this is not the new Lovebites.
Yes Joel, I had the same kind of reaction. More poppy, but still fast and complex. Its a good song, but not one I will return to often.
no fun at all...
