After hearing the Official version it has become one of my favorites . . and Mi-Ya smiling and dancing after the solos is the Icing on the Cake. I got a screenshot of her smiling and tapping - while simultaneously 'levitating' above the ground - Awesome!

This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of AOR/heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solo. At the same time, it's got a catchy hook to make this an awesome LIVE song in the making. You'll have an even greater appreciation of this song if you understand the historical context of it. Hint : "Lovebites EP II" (coming soon on August 28) is essentially the sequel to their first ever EP "The Lovebites EP" (2017)
I think Asami's soul background comes through big time as well. Miyako must have consciously composed this to bring that out . The chorus feels like a gospel revival!
The red backdrop with the band silhouetted briefly is an intentional throwback to their first MV, Don't Bite the Dust. It was the lead track of the first Lovebites EP, and I believe Unchained is the first track of Lovebites EP 2. Synchronicity!
It seems to me that this composition shows the national Japanese notes characteristic of the performers of this country. In fact, when I first heard this song on their official website, I was under the impression that Asami would be singing in her native Japanese. 😊
!!! Regarding Miyako... I think you all must have Alzheimer's! Remember Miyako's clips with "Sonic Lover Reckless", "21G" and much earlier! Then until the last Lobebites concert of 2019... We had a "stirring" Miyako, "Headbanger", smiling etc!
