I really think the thing that sets you apart from all the review channels is the fact that you don’t cut out the ‘mistakes’. You show us real life usage of the product and make mistakes which most of us would likely make when using this product and don’t just pretended it’s an amazing product and lie about how easy it is to use, that’s what I love about you!
Hey love your stuff!, could we get more cleaning of the products in your videos? i miss the cleaning part of your videos and we haven't seen the sink in awhile. Thanks!
I don't understand why they don't have the stand flip out automatically when you unfold the device. It could even flip out the stand and lock that part into place via gravity and make it so you have to snap the stands back in. It would be a simple change that could really help make things work better the first time.
It would make it more expensive and complicated, and my understanding is that the nostalgia brand is a bit of a budget brand, so they decided to go cheaper, nothing wrong with that, you get what you pay for 🤷♂️
I really liked the voiceover recap for rounds 1 and 2! I thought it did a good job shortening the video length while keeping the information. Great for pacing!
It makes sense for people that don't like or eat pork. Like if you're making eggs for the whole family but 1 person doesn't like bacon it makes sense to wipe
For me, one side is more than large enough to cook 2 eggs. I cook 2 almost every morning in an 8" frying pay with a much smaller surface than this has on each side and have no trouble at all. That being said, I can do everything this does and more with my George Foreman Evolve grill that has changeable surfaces, and it cooks from the top and bottom, making things go quite a bit quicker. Not to mention that the temp is variable. Cute gadget, but I would not make room for it in my kitchen.
Keep up the great work ! Glad you got out all the failures and did post commentary. Failure is great to watch to see what common mistake people may come across, but you did a great job realizing when it was too much and would be overwhelming.
Are you calling Tyler Tube a paid promotional channel? Am I missing something? He doesn't know how to use/uses half the products wrong that he reviews. He seems to be pretty honest about his opinions and flat out says a product sucks if it sucks. How is he a promotional channel?
im always impressed by the depth of your reviews. it was very interesting to see the thermal view. While the products may not always be satisfying, the review most certainly is. I don't see the benefits of this over using a pan on the stove...
Well a device like this won't splatter Bacon grease or heat up a tiny apartment like the stovetop. Or if living without a stove top or oven like in certain tiny spaces, I can see why gadgets like this exist. Is it going to replace other all in one gadgets, perhaps not.
Interesting design ... even more interesting that it works! I can see this in use in a dorm but doubt a home cook would find more than amusing. Your reviews are always useful and freakin' entertaining too. Thanks!
I could see this working in a mobile home as a smaller alternative to a large cooking setup or butane gas stoves. It's compact and portable while having just enough cooking surface to do single meals.
I've had one of these for about a year. I like it. I haven't used any cooking oil, but no major problems. I might try wiping with oil first before cooking. Maybe the photo shows cooking quail eggs and tiny pancakes? What I really like is that it's a space-saver, no need to click on the kitchen stove or pans to mess with. It's easy enough to clean up when done. I like that handy tray that collects dripping bacon oil, it's easy to empty. I think it can cook hash browns as well. I'm gonna try that.
@@rudridz Thanks 👍. I'm aware of these deceptive scams. These comment bots are swarming through all kinds of channels. They try to fool people into thinking it's a special offer from the channel owner. They're irritating, disgusting and risky.
@@em84c What I like about it is that it's a space-saver when not in use. When folded up, it's very narrow and takes up less space than an air fryer, and uses a lot less electricity than a regular stove top. It's not handy for family use, but it works great making breakfast for one or two people. It also allows making pancakes, which it not a good idea for an air fryer.
seems like it is an OK product for a single person. One can quickly cook a varied breakfast with one device, instead of 2 or 3 pans. Maybe a single egg omlette would work as well? Bacon part seems very good. But $40 to cook bacon is a bit much. I think the grease catcher would make it easy to transfer and store the bacon grease for future cooking. The box is very misleading. Reminds me a bit of the sugar cereal "part of a healthy breakfast" images.
TylerTube tested this too and his machine was almost exactly 400F, it seems like the factories making these aren't putting a lot of thought into keeping the heating consistent.
I love what you do James! I think most people own a range and a skillet. If you do, why would you need this? I'm not judging, but I think this is true for most kitchen gadgets you review. They are fun to watch because you are so likable!
Seems like a pretty good product for someone living alone or for someone who has very little space for cooking. My immediate thought was somewhere like Japan where some people basically live in two room apartments and use portable stoves. Another would be traveling, and their RV or camper might not have any kind of stove. Something like this would be great for that type of thing.
I dreaded making breakfast, which happens to be my husband’s favorite meal. It took my a couple of times to get it right when I first purchased it. I feel like a pro now😂 Two things I did to make it easier, 1. I got some silicone rings to put the eggs in. Keep the egg in a circle and doesn’t drip into the grease collector. 2. I use a spatula to help me pick up the egg. It would scoot around on the griddle and was hard to pick up.

We were eating at Saltgrass steak house with friends, and had a great server. My husband and I decided to share a piece of plain cheesecake, she asked if we wanted any toppings, strawberries, cherries, chocolate, bacon 🥓? She talked us into getting the bacon they use for salads in a cup on the side. It was so good! Now when I make cheesecake for someone, I send it with a container of strawberries, and a container of chopped bacon.
