Dance The Smooth American Waltz, Underarm Turns and Traveling Moves April 15, 2024

Clark and Jennifer presented a seamless underarm combo of outside turns to inside turns. Then we practiced two interesting traveling moves. With these we were reminded about posture and working with weight management as related to coordinated movement in line of dance. We did the
Butterfly (He Goes, She Goes)a nice swooping and gliding movement that feels good as well as looks good. The Flip Flop....sometimes called the He Goes She Goes... was challenging as we actually swung off the weight and momentum of our partner. It calls for a dedicated interdependence on each other to make the magic happen and is definitely worth the effort! Very fun and instructive class in a happy ambiance. Thanks Jennifer and Clark!
