- First time up Pilot Rock Truck Trail. It's actually a good ride. Lots of more challenging side trails along the way. Takes you up in to the pines towards Lake Arrowhead. Definitely worth a visit. I'm sure we'll be back soon to explore more of the area. Thanks for watching !!

I need to get me a Rzr 1000. My Kawi Teryx4 is super slow.
Good thing you didn’t hit the rough side trails, staying on the fire road makes it a pretty simple and nice drive !
Gorgeous lunch stop! Thanks for taking us along, I really enjoyed how you captured the experience and brought us along.
Thank you for the comment! We've got so many videos coming.. appreciate the kind words and support. Glad you enjoyed it!!
8:30 those guys are the reason there are wrecks, unless it is a one way trail expect traffic stay to the extreme right at all times, they were driving like they were on their own trail and not expecting anyone else. The can am was following to close. Horrible trail etiquette.
Definitely had to keep an eye out.. Surprisingly a lot of people were moving like they were not expecting to see anyone else !
If you can’t see anything, don’t come in hot
Ha ha, I have heard that convo so many times. ... but time with your wife doing what you enjoy is hard to beat.
Absolutely right! They put up with a lot.. haha
Love the blow off valve
Bumpertrash1 their VERY bad for the turbo. Causes the turbine to back pedal. Not good
Still sounds good lol
Mike Stremlin Actually it's a bit of the opposite effect. The RZR has a stock plastic BOV which just redirects the air into the intake tube. This is why it's practically inaudible. This BOV is just venting to atmosphere. Without a BOV the compressed air wouldn't have an escape when the throttle body Is closed and would revert back to the turbo trying to stall the compressor wheel. If there Is one down side to the vent to atmosphere is it wouldn't be good in water crossings.
Keep it high enough to stay out of the water and they are fine. I’m adding one to my rig here soon.
@@molonlabe7750 gotta love people that talk about stuff they know nothing about.
Would love to see a video of your full camping set-up? Truck, toy hauler with RZR in and out. Thanks!
Max Mazo Next camping trip I'll be sure to cover all three man! Thanks
Space! Give yourself space between each other in case you have to slam on the brakes
Awesome, You need to do that when it snows....lots of fun! Idiots following to closely, glad you weren't in a head on! Have you been to Gorman? Ton's of fun trails there, especially Badlands trail...its a one way trail. I'd be curious if you've been on that with your 4-seater, if you've ever been to Gorman.
Did you have to purchase a parking pass? Thanks for the video, lots of fun.
I didn't find anything saying we needed to so I did not. May want to double check me. Thanks, appreciate it!
This is why in my videos we keep a safe distance and try to roll on trails where we see whats coming.
Sweet ride ! Hitting this trail next.
Nice view up there all alone nobody bothering.....
A lot of these riders have no common sense. The trails at Silver Wood are not to be going fast. There are a lot of blind turns that you can’t see what’s coming. A perfect example on the video. Also riders learn how to communicate with the oncoming riders. If you have a big group give the oncoming rider a hand count. Be courteous and be safe.
feel free to get at me if you want to go up there again. we do a lot of day rides up there in the summer (its 10 degrees cooler than anywhere else) and we go swimming in deepcreek or devils hole. its a cool little ride, maybe 35 - 40 miles round trip. i know a bunch of the little side trails and fun turn offs there too
yes, you really have to watch out for people there and its usually good if you plan your trip time wise. in the morning head up the mountain, in the evening head back down to the staging area otherwise you'll be going head on with majority of traffic. lots of new to the sport people go there because its one of the closest places to LA and Orange county, basically those drivers that give educated utv people like us a bad name to the offroad community. using hand signals generally dont work with people on that trail either. you can hold up 2 fingers and get a peace sign back at cha. haha
Good video. At least you got her out there on the trail. Has she been behind the wheel yet?
She's actually a very good driver. Grew up riding a banshee in glamis. Sometimes you have to twist her arm but she is always up to ride👍
What size tires are on your rzr
At the time of this video, 32”, then went to 33”.
What lighting system do you have on the top and also your lowrance GPS what model is it and how good is it?
SxS bumper tag! Yeah I hear ya, my wife keeps it a calmer less exciting ride!
Can you send me the location for this trip looks really nice
I live just off Santa Fe and Ranchero rd. Drive rt out my garage to there. But how the hell do you even have fun in your rzr with her? Just askin!
Mike Stremlin Hahaha funny thing is.. as a driver she does awesome. Not as confident as a passenger. She's a trooper though. Keeps me out of trouble half the time!
The Off-Road Adventure Channel kept u out of crashing into those dudes thats forsure haha
The Off Road Adventure Channel my wife is the same way. It can't be too cold, too hot, too dusty, too slow or too fast....I enjoy having her along, but sometimes it is a bit much. Has saved me a ton of money on upgrades though.
That’s me at the 8:26 mark waiting for those guys to pass.
Ha! That's awesome
How did you snap both axles ?
Driver error...Came over a dune back tires came off the ground and I was still full throttle when they landed. All that bite with the paddle tires snapped em both...haha
axles are my next upgrade. My stock ones are still good, just doing some preventative upgrades. I’ve been shopping online a little. Thanks!
What model Lowrance do you have
Where did u park at. Off of the 173?
fabian padilla Yeah right above the Damn in a small parking lot. On the map it's labeled Pilot Rock OHV staging area.
The Off-Road Adventure Channel thanks I appreciate it. I gotta hit that trail it looks perfect
fabian padilla It's a good ride man I think you'll enjoy it!
can you explain to me the hand signals
Fist indicates nobody behind him, one finger means one person behind you in the group, 2 fingers mean two people behind you in the group and so on.
Where did you guys unload at?
Silverwood lake damn staging area
Thanks brother heading there this weekend with the fam. Keep the videos rolling diggin the content.
Have fun man! And thank you.
Have you been to oceano dunes in pismo ca
Jay Jay I've not been before.. hear good things about it. Definitely on the bucket list though!
Hope you make a video with sxsblogs when they come to glamis again.
Jay Jay That would be fun. I think they are headed to glamis this next season.
It 100% true...your Wife or Girlfriend always takes the fun out of any trail ride!!!
Do you know if that trail system connects down to Pioneertown? I think it does for road vices but not sure for sxs. Nice video, thanks.
Bro your slow driving got me bored lol
You need a new girl 😄
