Angelina is called "The Little Boss" by bands who work with her. Not so little at 16 but right from the start, Angelina has done the arranging of her songs and gives instructions, as you will notice at start of I put a spell on you.
So impressive for such a youngster (A Baby Girl)!

I'm a little late to the party but I have another great suggestion, also at 8 years old, "What a Difference a Day Makes" this is my #1 from all her repertory, and as you can imagine she also stands out as usual and to me, is her best performance, is not easy to choose your number one out of a 100+ songs she's inrepreted, but to me that's the one, no doubt about it and also because it was the first song ever I heard and it made me fall in love with her immediately, it was really hard to choose because each one of them gets me a different feeling, which as a popular opinion, that's how singers all over the world should transmit their emotions using their songs, instead of showing off, get people to feel why you sing the song and make it right every single time, easy? of course not, only Angelina can do that with every single song, she sings emotions that wash over you when you listen to her, and that is her little mission in the world which she pleasantly has made her own personal taks and with no effort at all, God bless you Angelina.

There is a version of "Fly me to the moon" by Angelina (12 yo) with a big Jazz Band, it is absolutely perfection.
She naturally has vocal fry in her voice at eight years old.! Even when speaking theres fry.!
It is fun to see this tiny little girl and realize she is no 6 feet tall and has a contract with Republic as a “highest priority artist”. It is my understanding that she does her own arrangements, an amazing girl!

Angelina has been in charge since the beginning. Often she would put in changes, she called them wishes. In the black and white version of 'I Put A Spell On You' at the very beginning you see her going over the song sheet and writing in some "wishes", then you see the conductor reading through them with a smile on his face. He has seen these things before. Angelina is also very comfortable in front of a mic and she was also in the studio as early as 5-6 years old. So by the time she was 7-8 yrs.old she knew her way around. As Angelina got older she took an ever increasing role in the arrangement of her music and also the direction of her music. She has always chosen what she sings and how she wants to sing it.She has re[written the words to songs she likes but not the message so she will make sure the music has as good a message as it can. There Is A Fly Me To The Moon music video that she and her grandmother put together. It is quite beautiful. This song has always been a favorite of Angelina's. The composer and arranger Quincy Jones was also quite taken her vocals so much so that he invited her to join in his 85th birthday celebration. He took a special liking to Angelina and by the end He proclaimed Angelina the best young vocalist he had heard since Michael Jackson. Angelina has been receiving attention like this since she first appeared Norway's Got Talent. The incongruity of how she sounds with how she sounds is the hardest thing to reconcile.
You have an amazing journey ahead of you. Just when you think she might not do something is when will bust out with whatever it is and stun the socks off you. Thanks for your reactions.

Nice reaction! Angelina is a typical 8-year-old Norwegian girl who understands English and speaks with just a hint of British accent. Then she takes the stage. In a split second, she becomes this 30-year-old professional jazz singer with a completely different American voice, confident and relaxed, and delivers the song with precise timing, perfect pitch and with much emotion. She has arranged the song so that it starts out slowly, switches to jazz/blues and gently builds in tempo, amplitude and pitch to the finale (where she very unusually ran out of air). It is over and again, in a split second, she is the little eight-year-old. There is no explaining that. She says that when she sings, she goes to a really nice place where she feels good. There really is a home-made video of a few seconds of Angelina at age 1-1/2 with a toy microphone in her hand singing the Whitney Houston song "I Will Always Love You." From age 7, when she first auditioned for Norway's Got Talent, to the present 14 years old, she has steadily increased her prowess as a vocal artist until her age is irrelevant. She is now a world-class star. And humble, and kind, and a bit shy. Her new contract with Republic Records should bring her international acclaim.

About the arrangements: it's all hers. The fact one can feel that is probably part of what makes her special/unique.
Schnell, your reactions are such a breath of fresh air. Watching your expressions through all the adorable moments and, of course her performance, was absolutely priceless. You’re like an amplifier for the joy that is Angelina. As others have suggested, I do recommend you take a look on your own at the music video version that was produced by her artist grandmother (she is older in that one). But this is actually my favorite performance to watch because the cute factor is just off the charts. For your next Angelina reaction, you could stay with Young Angelina and check out her Norway’s Got Talent performances. There is an all-in-one video with all four performances, just over 10 minutes I believe. But if you want the judges comments I believe they are cut out of that video so you need to look them up individually. If you want to hear something completely different, a couple of performances of hers that never cease to amaze me are “I’d Rather Go Blind“ and “I Will Survive”. Both those performances are masterclasses in vocal control. They don’t mimic the original artists but rather incorporate elements of different various artists that have influenced her.
When Angelina was very young 1 1/2 year old she was singing a line of a Whitney Houston/Dolly Parton song.

Well, she gave up her shoes to a street girl when she was 6. Won NGT before she got to this performance. And precocious as she is, she gets better. Keep going. I think you'll be equally astounded by her 10 year old I'm Feeling Good. (BTW, when asked what she would do if she won AGT, she said she would be humble and work really hard.)
There are plenty of rehearsal videos out there that shows even at a young age she's the one telling her musicians how she wanted things to be done.

What you hear from Angelina is all Angelina , when she is performing with live musicians and not a sound track , it is her who sets the tempo and arrangements, they follow her lead, Angelina is just that talented and accomplished at her young age. But when she sings with a sound track she can not control the tempo however, she does many vocal enhancements that are her own artistic magic. She just has it inside her, as one judge on Norway got talent said to Angelina after her Gloomy Sunday performance , Quote , " You Are Music". Of course the questions were "leading". they were leading to her singing a song. they werem to tout her accomplishments at a tender age and let her show the audience why she won a national talent show at 8 years old. The angels don't put up with political hackery, so check that $#!+ at the door.
Dear Schnell, When I saw the title I was hoping you reacted to the music video as it is terrific. PLEASE at least watch it to see why I was hoping for it. Angelina does all of her musical arrangements. That is why in the black & white version of I Put A Spell On You it shows her writing with a pen as she is marking changes for the performance that the music director looks at then smiles. If you want a good cry, have tissues ready and react to her sing Always On My Mind. (She dedicates it to her grandfather that recently passed) 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

Angelina does such a great job with this song. In fact, she does it so well that in 2018 Quincy Jones (who originally arranged the song for Frank Sinatra) invited Angelina to sing this song at his 85th birthday celebration in O2 Arena in London. Angelina later described it as the highlight of her life so far. Quincy said that Angelina reminded him of the talent of a young MJ.
As for where you should go next with Angelina, I would say you should go to the "Angelina Jordan Cover Channel" and literally pick any video that jumps out at you. There are about 25 videos on that channel and any one of them you pick is going to be gold.

Angelina arranges all her own music, including “I Put a Spell on You” that you reviewed previously, that’s what makes her a prodigy, she not only has a beautiful voice which she can control, she has a command over creative artistry of the music, that is a rarity. As you continue you will see her at work in some of the rehearsals where she controls everything even the accompanying musicians.
She is such a joy to watch! She is one of my favorites. Your reaction was great 👍. I have to say my favorite food is a Ribeye 🥩 steak cooked over fire.

Nice reaction! She is currently 14 years old now. Not sure if you want to see anything a little more current, but she did appear on America't Got Talent: The Champions earlier this year( she was 13 at that time) and blew away the audience and judges with her version of Bohemian Rhapsody. She got the Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum and went straight to the Finals! This was the first time I heard of her and I've been hooked since. This girl arranges the songs the way she wants and it always comes out gold! The most common reaction when people hear her sing is that they get goose bumps and that she draws you in and you can't look away. This girl has IT! If Republic Records would allow her the opportunity, Angelina could possibly bring back Jazz and oldies. Her fan base is incredibly diverse for a singer age 10/14. It is reported to be mostly age 30 thru late 80's.. She probably picked up some young followers after her amazing performance on AGT Champions.

I don't think there has ever been any kid who could sing as beautifully as she did at 8. We all love it when a reactor share the same enthusiasm for this little angel. Regarding her vibrato, she showed her mastery when she sang 'Summertime' to win the Norway Got Talent back in 2014. Then when she was 12, she really used her incomparable vibrato skill to deliver an emotional and heartfelt cover of Rihanna's Stay. ruclips.net/video/_GSVPvCy3Yg/видео.html. This is her number one performance, IMO. You will like her cover of Stay too. It was recorded at home, just her and her guitarist Ivan Mendez. Love your reaction.

When you see this Video it seems that Angelina when is Singing is oblivious of the Surrounding Her Only Focus is Sing the Song. Her Arrangement is Phenomenal. Eithera Piano or Guitar and Herself. Kudos She does Wonders. The Enrire Body and Mind Gets Refreshed When you hear Her Sing. Your Mind Cools down and you feel at Peace.

She does her own arrangements. I'm not informed enough to say this is always the case but there are videos that show glimpses of her in action, including one where she's forced to show her pianist what she wants him to play. Her accompanists certainly know who is boss. A notable exception was when she performed this in London in 2018, where she sang Quincy Jones' arrangement at a concert in his honour. Thank you for another great reaction to Angelina, Schnell. Your observations are fantastic. Angelina has pretty much always determined what songs she wants to sing and how she wants to sing them. If you remember in the opening shots of "I Put A Spell On You", she was writing some changes that she wanted the music director to follow. As she has gotten older, musicians who work with her have started calling het "The Boss". May I request that you react to Angelina singing, "Every Time We Say Goodbye", the 1956 classic that Ella Fitzgerald sang when she recorded The Cole Porter Songbook albums. Contrary to popular belief Frank was not the first to record this song. Kay Ballard released the first on a 45 rpm and Johnny Mathis added it to his song set. But Julie London's jazzy version is what Angelina most resembles. Both Kay and Julie's versions are worth reviewing. Angelina here is cuteness overload.

Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Loved your reaction!!!
I really appreciate your reaction to this amazing young lady. If there had been a camera on me the first time I heard Angelina it would have recorded me having an out of body experience, frozen and motionless, goose bumps all over my arms and my jaw gapping wide. Immediately I was calling her a prodigy recognizing right away she was more than just enormously talented. I realize that sounds hyperbolic but for this girl, I don't believe it is. I drove my friends crazy talking about this kid that I believe will be one of the most important singers for a generation.
Since you enjoyed this video so much where she was all of 8 years old, there's one I enjoy even more recorded when Angelina was just 7. It was her first audition on Norway's Got Talent and she's singing Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. Her performance was stunning, the judges cried, and one almost swooned herself unconscious! It's easy to find but know first that everyone is speaking Norwegian so have your captions on! I would love to see your reaction to that. Thank you!
Angelina's vocals in the early years were always precise and beautiful, and continued developing into a signature voice, which today we can truly say is unique to her.
