Those first 3 Albums, and some of the 1971/1973 live recordings i've heard, showed me he was ahead of his time, and to this day i haven't quite figured out some of the drum solo stuff he did on that 46 minute "live" Eruption and Anonymous II You also are in my top 10 all time guitar players. The solo record and "Eli" with Kaz Lux were fantastic!

Schnell in my opinion Angelina's voice is the most emotional, soulful voice of my lifetime. While soul singers touch your soul, Angelina's voice envelops your soul in a warm loving embrace. Angelina was 12 here and that was a difficult year, losing her grandpa, her friend Avicii and one of her idols Aretha Franklin and she did a tribute to each. But I don't believe the tremendous emotion in her voice came from her present life experience but rather she was born with it. I need to be a poet to have any chance to properly describe how special Angelina is. We are lucky to be alive at the same time as Angelina Jordan.

I've listened to this one more times than I could count and it still blows me a away that it's a 12 year old singing this. She is able to convey so much emotion when she sings that it just pulls you in and holds you there for a couple minutes. If your favorite setup is a guitar and singer, then Angelina has many that you are going to love. When you look at the videos on her cover channel, look for any video you see with this guitarist (Ivan) or the other guitarist (Egil) in the thumbnail. All of those are going to be good. I especially recommend "stay", "the first time ever I saw your face", "make you feel my love" (just to name a few).

I've already written that she should do a mini concert with a maximum of 150 people in a small hall, with a guitarist and a piano. Especially these small concerts, of which I have already participated in quite a few, including the "big ones", are the best there are. There is always a great atmosphere. You're right. You have a lot to discover and you'll continue to be amazed by her. IMO you still haven't heard many of her best performances which you probably find hard to believe. The guitarist is Ivan Mendez and she has him playing on several of her covers. If you are interested in hearing more of him, for example he plays guitar for her on ALWAYS ON MY MIND which is another heart wrenching performance from her. A great review of this, one of my favourite Angelina performances. The guitarist is Ivan Mendez who Angelina performs with when she is in L.A.. I think Ivan toured with Angelina in South America too. Some of Angelina's best performances are with Ivan and her Norwegian guitarist Egil Clausen. Angelina really shines when performing with a simple backing, guitar or piano. Ivan has his own YT channel and can sing very well himself.

One of the remarkable things about Angelina is how with each and every song (cover or original) she manages to reach in and move hearts. And this is what many of us need in this time of health crisis and loneliness. My favorite instruments are baritone sax, mandolin, banjo and fiddle/violin. I mostly go to bluegrass shows (when the world was saner), but Angelina is above all my other likes. Her voice is my favorite instrument of all

You're right. You have a lot to discover and you'll continue to be amazed by her. IMO you still haven't heard many of her best performances which you probably find hard to believe. The guitarist is Ivan Mendez and she has him playing on several of her covers. If you are interested in hearing more of him, for example he plays guitar for her on ALWAYS ON MY MIND which is another heart wrenching performance from her. I think you have officially fallen into the Angelina rabbit hole. Enjoy.

The songs that Angelina sings during these guitar sessions with Ivan Mendez (when she is in LA) and Egil Clausen (when she is in Norway) are not planned in advance- they get together and decide what song to sing, sometimes without Ivan or Egil even familiar with the song! And it is usually done in one take (interviews with Ivan and Egil)!
POINT ON BEAUTIFUL SCHNELL. As one of the NGT's judges said, when she sings, she doesn't think she feels. That's so true and she just pulls you in when you're listening and you feel her soul coming through to you and you are HOOKED. She does a few other Adelle covers and they're all beautiful. Angelina is now almost 15, she has grown to be 6 ft tall, and has signed a major recording contract with Republic Records.

A great review of this, one of my favourite Angelina performances. The guitarist is Ivan Mendez who Angelina performs with when she is in L.A.. I think Ivan toured with Angelina in South America too. Some of Angelina's best performances are with Ivan and her Norwegian guitarist Egil Clausen. Angelina really shines when performing with a simple backing, guitar or piano. Ivan has his own YT channel and can sing very well himself.

For me Angelina's ability to understand just how a song should be sung has never been better than in her performance of Chris Issacz "Wicked Game' Every other singer I have listened to singing this piece has treated it as a love song.
