You'll have to forgive me, I'm not familiar with that term. If you mean slip seating, it's considered that by Walmart. Currently I'm on a program schedule where as I share 2 dedicated tractors with 2 other drivers. 1 week (all 5 days) I'm in tractor #1, the next week I'm in tractor #2. Then rotate back to tractor #1 to continue pattern.

If you're asking if we team up and switch seats after our 11 hrs of driving thus the seat is always hot and unit is moving, No. We are single drivers. We also don't switch tractors multiple times a day or evert day.

@@RappRelevant333 it really depends on location. So drivers make it back to DC at end of shift and can take 10 hr break at home. For me, it's not worth it because I drive just over 1 hr each direction. That would be 2 hours off my 10 and I'd basically be coming home to sleep

Kevin - you watched a older video. Yes, we were always allowed to use a hands free method to talk on phone while driving. Old phone policy was, "While on Drive Line" - we couldn't talk more then 60 mins a day and no single call could last over 10 mins at a time.
THAT POLICY has since been changed. We now have unlimited hands free talk time now, unless in school zones, construction zones or at times of extremely high traffic. Obviously those are times that you need to pay closer attention to your driving conditions.
      Hope that answers your question.

@Jose - thanks for question, not always. I prefer to take my 10 hr reset at a store or at DC, but that doesn't always happen. For example, tonight I'm at a rest area on SR299 on my way to Eureka. We choose where we want to layover. I avoid truck stops for the most part.
