Take your time brother. I spend more time watchin Rc and tinkering Rc than I do driving Rc. But my wife and I both have scx10s. And there just great. Now we both just got our first on road 10th scale touring car kits. So it's going to be something new and fun when this weather breaks. We both got 3 racing Sakura xi sport kits. For just over 100 bucks the quality of the kit is way more than I ever expected. Plus there fully compatable with the ultimate edition. So I believe our first upgrade will be the carbon fiber chassis. The plastic bottom main chassis feels as heavy as if it was aluminum. I mean it's thick and heavy. I had no idea how durable these would be. Have you ever tested or tried out a 3racing Sakura xi sport.

You could do a vid on the hpi savage flux hp to xl conversion, you weren't too keen on the flux hp but said the xl conversion would make it a great basher (ive just bought the flux hp)

I live in Minnesota and I can confirm that it is cold as hell right now, the governor just canceled all public school on Monday because it's so cold
For winter time just make a build log on a crawler and test it inside.
