    I was holding the Mag too far back this whole time! Thanks for the Video. Do you have a video about the placement of the comb or cutter on the wheel when grinding in relation to the center line.

    Good video. Why do the trimmer blades scoot out from undrtneith the magnet sometimes?

      If you are using the rare earth magnets or hard drive magnet they make a single, focused point of contact to the blade versus being spread out to prevent the twist. To prevent that, first I check that I am using light pressure and af it persists I will hold the magnet at the bottom with my thumb and middle finger so that they are touching the blade. usually that stabilizes them enough to not twist.

    I ask, can any steel with a very flat surface be used as a rub block please ?

    What's the name of block you use after sharpening the blade? I mean what kinda material is that?

      It's called a rub block! It is made from steel.

    Which side of the Andis trimmer Comb blade do you sharpen

    • @TheEdgePro
      @TheEdgePro  2 года назад

      Hi Zeke! You would sharpen the back side, or flat side of it that the cutters rubs against. Hope that helps!

    I hate the red POS magnets. I liked the clips Andis used but Vicsco had the very best. Ace Sharpening in KC MO has great one that is better than Vic's.
